I have used Ron and his team for the last 7-10 years on all of our vehicle issues. Always polite and professional, the cost is always within reason, and the service is always quick. Just recently had a transfer case shutter issue within my transmission. Using only GM parts, Ron's team was able to diagnose and resolve the issue quickly, getting me back to normal. The Answer East is always our first call when dealing with repairs!

This was my first time coming here, but I feel like that they are honest and care about doing the job right the first time. It not always easy nowadays to find a place that actually does both of the above well. Diagnostic, DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE. If I could give negative stars I would. Took my car in for a diagnostic. Was told that the alternator was bad, and my serpentine belt tensioner. Left there with my car and a $900 estimate, over $460 in labor. Took it and had the alternator plugged in to find out it’s not bad at all. So their diagnostic they gave me was INACCURATE entirely. Changed the serpentine belt with a kit like they suggested. Still having the same noise. In the state of Indiana as long as one person being recorded is aware they are being recorded it is LEGAL, so when I called back I recorded the call. My one request was for a different mechanic and I was told “if you’re going to act like that we won’t have you back as a customer.” Clearly the first diagnostic was not accurate or else I would not have tried to waste MORE TIME, and have a second one done.

I took my vehicle to The Answer Auto Repair last week because it had overheated out of nowhere. It took them a while to find out the coolant was leaking out of the head gasket and it was going to cost a lot of money to fix. Luckily, I found out that I have an extended warranty by Kia that should fix the issue at no cost to me. When I informed the staff at The Answer, they were very understanding and excited for me to hear that I should be able to get it fixed for free at the dealership. When I went to pick up my vehicle, that they had spent a week diagnosing to find the issue, they did not charge me a single dime!! I am SO appreciative of their help, patience and understanding. I would 100% recommend this auto repair shop to anyone. They are in the business of truly helping their customers. I will trust them for future auto repair needs!

I have been going to The Answer for well over 10 years. They are pretty much the only folks that work on my vehicles because they care. They don’t just randomly tell you something needs to be fixed if it doesn’t genuinely need to be fixed. If they do work, they warranty it And they fix any warranties without question and send you on your way. If you want somebody that actually care cares about your vehicle and does quality work and backs it up. These are the folks!

This is the best place in Evansville to get your car worked on! Ron and Theresa and all the staff are super nice, honest people, and don’t charge you an arm and a leg. They have helped me out several times and squeezed me in to their schedule when I was in a bind.
