My starter went out at hobby lobby in dover got it towed to there shop..I didn't have an appointment..and immediately Ronnie the mechanic came out ordered my starter fixed it and I was on my way..and he was professional and fast and I called over ten places..trust me these guys at A1 know what they doing..definitely will be back..

Do not use this mechanic for any air conditioner issues. I told them from the beginning there was probably a leak. I was told they would diagnose the issue and fix it. My air conditioner worked for a week then started blowing hot air again. They admitted after the fact that they do not possess the equipment to properly diagnose a leak. The whole experience was a waste of time and money.

I took my truck here and received a honest and professional opinion as to which way to go with the repairs. The shop manager is extremely knowledgeable. They replaced the engine in my truck with a new one and it has been running great ever since. Quick turnaround time and a honest shop!! A++++++

A1 came highly recommended from neighbors on Next Door. They fixed my truck, it was an dead battery, but the battery was new, so I probably left a light on. He also fixed my door. They didn't charge me a single dime. I thought at least for his time, but no, not a dime. Mohammed is a good person. I will never take my truck anywhere else.

If you’re looking for a reliable car or a great mechanic, this is the place! Affordable, friendly and knowledgeable. Not like other shops that throw parts at your vehicle until it’s “fixed” and they didn’t charge me to diagnose! They fixed an issue on my truck that another shop couldn’t fix in 3 visits. I won’t be taking my vehicle elsewhere for any future issues that may arise.

Had a wonderful experience at the A1 auto repair shop. My transmission light was on literally the day after I got the vehicle and they had it back to me within a few hours. They just had to reset the system because the battery had died overnight. Explained everything to me. It was a pretty cheap cost. Only 50 bucks and the workers were extremely nice, even helped me get my tag screwed onto the back of my car.

So I tried getting my ignition switch with key replaced to have 2 keys with fob, my drivers door fixed to open/close properly, my transmission checked and possible fixed because it's having issues. When I dropped my car off because I spoke to a gentleman in the front office, he told me 250 plus 100 that will cover parts and labor for the ignition switch issue. Almost a month and $525 later after dropping off my car and all that was done was my ignition switch, only received one key on top of that instead of the 2 I asked and paid for ahead because the mechanic suggested it( the mechanic also joked and said it's like having 2 keys anyway since my old key still worked on the door) wasn't funny to me. The mechanic tried telling me he fixed me door but when i picked up my car he nor I could open the door. The mechanic also said he didn't have time to check the transmission and gave me an excuse on why he couldn't try to fix it. The communication between the front desk gentleman and the mechanic about info on my vehicle was horrible when I called also when I stopped by. No paperwork was taken care of or document except for the charge in my account from them. If they do poor work like this on vehicles brought to them to fix just imagine how well the vehicles they are trying to sell is being taken care of. I was told almost 12 cars a day go there for maintenance work. Definitely took my kindness as a weakness so won't go back there or refer people.

This place is awesome 👏 They Honest and Trustworthy. Haven’t experienced this in years. I would recommend anyone that needs their services to check them out. Went in for a transmission oil and filter change and they said I didn’t need one because the transmission fluid was so clean. I appreciate their Honesty. They could have changed me and said they did it and who would have known? I’ll be returning for all my work.
