I came here to have my Tesla inspected. The staff told me the brakes were worn and the tires needed replacing, and they failed the inspection! I took the car to another shop, and surprisingly, I passed the inspection! NEVER COME HERE AGAIN!

I had a bad experience here. They tried to sell me on services that I didn’t need and they repeatedly tried even after I said no multiple times. They also raised the price by 25% when I got there compared to what they told me on the phone. Don’t recommend, won’t go back.

Went in to get a state inspection, was told 30 minutes. Got a call about an hour later. Guy tells me you failed due to the front end being loose. I tried to ask what exactly about the front end was loose as the front end is huge. He just kept shoving the paper at me saying the front end was loose. When I kept asking he said “I actually don’t have to explain anything to you”. I went to a different shop to confirm and get a clearer understanding, they said there was nothing wrong with the car. When they asked who failed the car and I told them this shop they all nodded and said it makes sense coz the guys rip people off and fail cars who should pass in order to get them to come back and do the repairs. This place is a huge ripoff and they have no idea what they are talking about. Will never come back and will tell anyone who asks exactly what happened here.

Stay clear of this place at all costs. They are extremely vague with their state inspections (claims front end issues but won’t say what’s exactly wrong with the front end) in hopes to get you to pay $200 just for them to lift the vehicle for further diagnosis and then be locked in to their outrageous prices. There’s a reason no reputable mechanics in the area recommend them or even know of them. Shady practices and definitely one to avoid

AAA Auto Tech is a scam and money mongers. I brought my 2018 Ford Edge Titanium to them for repair work and paid over $2,400 for what was supposed to fix an oil leak and other issues. Shortly after, the oil leak persisted. After relocating to California, I took my vehicle to Firestone Complete Auto Care. Firestone documented a massive engine oil leak and confirmed that AAA Auto Tech had already worked on the oil pan and timing cover but did not fix it properly. Their report stated the vehicle is “still leaking at this time.” AAA Auto Tech took my money but failed to deliver proper workmanship. Because I am no longer in Boston, I cannot return for rework. The lack of accountability and refusal to stand behind their work shows they are only interested in money, not customer service. I strongly warn others to avoid this business.

Way over priced. Told me an oil sensor wire would cost nearly $800. When I told them the dealer priced me much less they immediately dropped the price. Went to another mechanic and they did it for under $150. Do not go here.

AAA Auto Tech is dishonest, untrustworthy. They talk your ears off, tell you the problem first then different problem each time. It is not reasonable price, they overcharge ridiculous high on small parts. we went to Herb Chambers Honda, turn out his car say spark plugs which AAA auto tech didn’t fix. Another issue was head gasket. Thank god my bf has warranty so Herb Honda fixed that. AAA Auto Tech ripped off my bf almost 3k for spark plug & fuel injector then cylinder…Like what? They are crooks. I’m also speaking out for people who have been ripped off by them. I hope you guys take your money back. If not, take them to court. people Check out your car at a dealership first or go to a trusted mechanic.

SCAM ALERT!! Stay away! I drove in in December 2024 for my state inspection and was hit with a massive $3k bill despite having my car at another shop 2 weeks prior for engine repairs and being told that it would pass when I got back to Mass. AAA Auto Tech did my inspection, failed me, the. told me to wait (for 5 hours!!) and as they were closing, told me that they couldn’t finish the repair until the morning. When I came back the next day and drove my car off the lot, the electronics started to spasm and my car shut off in the middle of the intersection. When I called the shop to tell them what happened they told me “it wasn’t us! We don’t touch the battery.” They had unplugged the battery to change a lightbulb and failed to reconnect it properly then tried to gaslight me after I spent thousands for repairs that other shops told me were unnecessary. STAY AWAY!! This place is a SCAM that will find something insignificant and then charge you just to tell you what is wrong. You’re welcome to take it elsewhere but still will need to pay hundreds to get the vehicle off the lift and then have to re-pay for inspection. The only reason I waited this long to write this is because the rapid had a year warranty and with how shady they are, I expected them to set me up to where the repair would need to be re-done for the next inspection. Go ANYWHERE ELSE!! Do not trust AAA Auto Tech!

It’s insane how much they overcharge you. Mind you I came with my own breaks and rotors. The Indian guy told me that he could do it for 1200. When I said no, he tried to work a price and said “since you a regular customer I can do it for 800” went to the shop next door and they charged me 300. A month later I had to due an inspection so I went there just because it was the closest to me. My lights needed to be changed so I brought my own parts again, the same Indian guy was trying to charge me 300 dollars. I was like you know what I will not even do my inspection here at all, went to another shop they charged me half the price for front and back lightbulbs change. So if you are new to cars please do not go there. I don’t know why they have not ran out of business.

Please and please Don't go near these guys.Drove in for what i suspect is alignment and wheel balance issues.These guys decided to diagnose my car.The Indian guy said I need to change d front axles,service caliper and then do wheel balance/alignment.Cost is above 2 grand i said i dont have such.Was quickly introduced to this auto credit card. Unknown to me d charge is 34%interest if I am not able to pay back d 2 grand back in 6 months(just discovered that now).In 2 hours these guys said dey complete all of d works.i suspected scam arrangemnet but was in a Hurry to get back to wok,i allowed it slide.a week later, my car stopped right close to their shop.car unable to engage gear.managed d car into their shop.Dis guy started telling me about some gear box flushing work.that I need to pay for again.I got so annoyed and I told him no.The car never had this problem before I brought it in.Because I was about making a scene he quickly fixed it and I took my car back.dis indian guy told me that people spend more that 5 grand in their shop and never make so much noise...That is my story.A long and painful one.If you want to experience Such......
