Advertised a $69.99 deal then proceeds to explain my vehicle is newer and the filter costs more, then charges second vehicle I brought $50 for 2 front wipers and threatens to fail the inspection. Won’t be coming back or renewing membership.

This is for the main roadside assistance office. I have been a customer since 1990, just cancelled due to your office not honoring a service that was done last year for the exact same issue. You rep sounded like a darn parrot saying "our policy is" - I explained that the EXACT SAME ISSUE occurred last year with no issue and they covered the flat tire, but not this time???? All I was offered is "we will make note of it" no apology!!! Done with AAA - you rate your yearly rates and go crappy on the service

I have been patronizing this AAA car care center on Sapp Road for more than 5 years, but no more. Similar to other reviews, I have noticed a significant decline in the level of customer service over the past couple of years. And most recently, I have left feeling that I was taken advantage of by this car care center. Yesterday, I dropped my wife's car off for an oil change, tire rotation and state inspection. My overall experience consisted of the following: 1) I was told that the wiper blades, which were new from Feb. (installed by SafeLite), would have to be replaced in order to pass inspection; 2) the price I was quoted over the phone was not the same as when I arrived to pick up my car (the invoice indicated that I had approved a second charge by phone which I had not); and 3) I felt somewhat helpless and was not treated with the respect I felt I deserved, especially as a long time customer. I was left, yet again, with an extremely bad taste in my mouth after this service experience with AAA on Sapp Road. I will not be returning and I suggest that you try other car care centers as well!

My wife and I recently took my mother-in-law's vehicle for a diagnostic test because of a coolant leak. I was first quoted $70. When we took the car for the diagnostic test, another service agent said it would cost $150. Thankfully, the service agent who quoted the price of $70 was present and informed the other service agent. We received an invoice for repair costs, which totaled $1886.00. We were told that the water pump and thermostat needed to be replaced. My mother-in-law doesn't drive that often, and her car isn't old, so that didn't seem right. We spoke with a few other mechanics, and they doubted the need for what AAA suggested. We ended up taking it to a shop next door to AAA and got the problem fixed for $350! AAA used to be known for its integrity, but unfortunately, it doesn't seem that way anymore. They quoted more than $1500 more than the actual cost of repairing the vehicle.

They do good work; honest and on time. They're just expensive, only slightly less than the dealership. Also, I can't trust them to honor the appt time that was agreed upon. I often need to wait at the shop and tell them as such. Sometimes they get me in and out w/ no problems, other times, not so much :(

I called several places before deciding to go with this shop. I came in for a transmission fluid and Troy was very helpful from the start and end of my service. Jason did an overall check on my car and even let me know I needed my cabin air filter replaced. They offered and matched a good price that I couldn't deny. Colt is a nice and friendly guy Nevertheless my old car was running well until I went for an oil change Now I get engine injection problems I don't know what diagnostic checks they run to sell you more services but I sure need fixes now! (bad timing they told me...)

Two stars only because the staff are polite and courteous. Other than that it seems they have higher prices than a dealer. Plus I paid a ton of money for almost nothing. So, I knew what problems my vehicle has, yet they insisted with that nationwide scam named diagnosis, which they're practicing it for only $195. Since I had the guts to say there's no need for diagnosis, they said they had to run a second diagnosis, which it was even more expensive. Finally they came up with the estimate for the repairs, an absolutely unacceptable number, so they basically did put back the old parts, and for the labor and that so-called (double) diagnosis, they charged me 700 dollars. Of course, next step will be BBB, because I find unacceptable this situation...

Nice clean facility. They did my oil change and tire rotation in a quick time frame. Didn't realize that AAA doesn't have international tour books anymore. They advised to go to Barnes & Nobles. A bit disappointing, but staff was friendly otherwise.

Cannot say that it is bad certain location to blame but as far as my AAA experience goes, worst kind of people you could ever have to deal with or expect service from. I purchased the best package possible and in my time of need they were not there. I was in a car accident where I was struck on the passenger side Buy some kids Who are speeding out of control I've used my service twice once when I was locked out of my vehicle and another when I ran out of gas and when I call this time after the wreck I'm told it's going to cost $100 to have me towed when on my policy I have up to 100 miles Towing needless to say I spoke with the supervisor who would not give me their name or any way for that person take responsibility for the conversation that took place I was told it was none of my business what his name was and basically there would be no accountability for his actions I used to think AAA a five-star service but after this experience I wouldn't recommend it to my enemies

At the Sapp Road AAA, they damaged my car, and I had to return to have the damage repaired. Luis, the clerk, said that they didn't know what happened. I don't believe him, and I'm really disappointed in the service. The Pisgah Church AAA branch reached out several times to rectify the issue, but I have not heard from the Sapp Road AAA.

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had with AAA. The tow driver dropped my car off at the wrong address and then lied about where he left it. When we finally spoke, the very first thing he asked me was, “Do you smoke? Because I smell that weed.” After that, I felt extremely uncomfortable. AAA could not locate where my car was dropped off and kept insisting it was at the wrong location. Multiple AAA drivers were sent to the supposed drop-off address, and none of them were able to find my car. As of now, my car has been reported stolen. Overall, I give this experience a 0 out of 10, and I do not recommend AAA based on what I went through.

I had a very disappointing experience with AAA Wendover. I visited their shop because my car was pulling to the right and experiencing bouncy vibrations at highway speeds. I recently had a speed balance and a warranty alignment done at this location. The technician advised me I would be charged $75 for a Suspension System Check, which I agreed to. They performed the service and reported no findings, but the report they sent me afterward indicated otherwise, which left me very confused and disappointed. Due to these conflicting reports, I immediately scheduled an appointment with AAA Car Care in Winston Salem for the following day, expecting that the alignment and balance would need correction. Their technicians found that the left front wheel was within spec for balance, but the right front required 1 oz, and both rear wheels were out by 0.5 oz. They rebalanced and realigned all four wheels. Overall, I am highly dissatisfied with the service at AAA Wendover. Their initial assessment was misleading, and has me thinking nothing was check! I would not recommend this location based on my experience.
