0 STARS if an Option! I recently had an awful experience at this mechanic shop. They gave us hope that we would be taken care of especially knowing we had warranty that could benefit us. Not only did they fail to communicate effectively but the manager also spoke to me unprofessionally, and they also tried to price gouge us significantly! Despite having a warranty that approved all necessary repairs, this shop attempted to overcharge us for parts that weren’t even available and were on backorder. The entire ordeal was incredibly stressful and frustrating. I hope to never have to go through such a horrible experience again. Avoid this place at all costs!

They don’t stand behind their work and warranty. Had a bench build on a ford transfer case,. When I picked it up, I told them the rear seal was not installed all the way in, they replied …yes it was. First lap around the block the trans was pouring gear lube at the seal and they didn’t want to replace a $25 seal that takes a 20-25 minutes to replace. Because it was a bench build. Their solution was I need to take the transfer off the truck and bring it back. Ridiculous, I would have paid the labor to repair it, but they were to busy in denial. Poor customer relations.

I had to replace a transmission on my 2017 Yukon Denali. Mark is the Customer Service Rep and Tim is the production manager. They both did a great job of answering all my questions (which I had several) and they got my vehicle repaired and back to me sooner than expected. Many thanks to Mark and Tim and the entire Aamco team for the great effort to make me a satisfied customer. I certainly recommend them for your transmission repair needs.

Tried to get a transmission service... Explained my vehicle and transmission over the phone. Got a range quote $250-450... Flush and filter...13Qts ...was told they would test it for $100 first then apply it to cost if passed. It passed of course, relatively new vehicle just need standard schedule service. I explained it's my work vehicle, I agreed to bring it in 830 am for a drop off. I was told all of a sudden like 40 min. laterthey busted some bolts and may not get replacement and have to bring it back next week (10mm bolts).and $300 more cost than over the phone I took my truck to the dealer same day, they did the service for less than AAMCO and I am disappointed in Mark

Mark got a new transmission installed on my 2011Dodge Grand Caravan over the Christmas week. Works great so far and it has a 3yr 100k warranty. I had them rebuild a 2002 Lexus AWD transmission a few years ago and it’s still running strong. They are always busy so keep that in mind.

If I could give O stars I would! I would not recommend my worst enemy taking their car to this shop. I bring my car to this shop to get a misfire fixed. I was told my car was fixed and to come pick it up. I was charged almost a thousand dollars to get my car fixed and on my way home (8 miles down the street) my car ran hot where as so much white smoke was coming from my hood. My car had never ran hot before I took my car to this shop. I bring my car back the very next business day and shower the head mechanic the video of what my car did minutes after leaving the shop and he told me right away that I needed a hose replacement, this is before running any diagnostics and tests. I left my car there for 2 weeks and was charged $600 to replace a hose. I went to the inspection shop the very next day and my car FAILED INSPECTIONBECAUSE IT STILL HAD THE MISFIRE THAT I WAS CHARGED $900 TO HAVE fixed! So I take it back to the shop and Max told me straight up, "well we didn't text drive your car, our computer read the code and we really just have to play around with it" my concern was, you have to play around with it on my expense And you release my car to me telling me it's fixed off of a GUESS and Now it's worse: fast forward I leave my car with Max because the misfire still needs to be fixed and he Calls me telling me I now need a motor. Keep in mind before bringing my car here, none of these things were wrong with my car. Aamco Destroyed my car: I have 3 small kids and we were stranded on the side of the road after max promised me my car was drivable due to his “guess" and wasn't ! And after they destroyed my car, told me that they owed me nothing and that I needed to come pick up my car. I am disgusted beyond disgust. I am now a single mother of multiple small kids with no vehicle all because I put my trust in the wrong mechanic shop.

I came in on a Friday and met Mark who seemed like a really nice gentleman. We had a great conversation. I was told there’s a $99 diagnostic fee that would go toward the cost of the repair. I explained the issue with my wife’s car and the AC. He even complimented her car, saying she had good taste, and mentioned he had previously owned mechanic shops and was now retired. That gave me confidence in his expertise. I told him I’d come back the next week. When I did, I dropped off the car, and a few hours later, he called to say they couldn’t check the AC because they didn’t have the equipment for YF refrigerant and haven’t updated to that equipment yet—mind you, I had already told him it was a YF system on Friday. I was confused—if they had just told me on Friday they couldn’t fix it, I would’ve never come back. So what was the point of the diagnostic in the first place? Then he tries to convince me to fix my windshield washer, which wasn’t spraying water, for $200…(which was fixed later for way less) When I return to pick up the car I was met with mark and as we started talking He got noticeably frustrated and combative, walked out of the room, and brought in the production manager to speak with me—who came in with a hostile attitude. He immediately took Mark’s side and claimed that if Mark had heard me say “YF” on Friday, he would’ve told me they couldn’t service it. They eventually waived the diagnostic fee. The only person who genuinely seemed kind through it all was the mechanic who pulled my car out. As for the rest, I left more disappointed—especially by how fast Mark’s attitude suddenly changed from friendly and Christian-like to defensive and dismissive. Even if he might have misheard me or there was a miscommunication, that wasn’t nice at all. God bless

My car has been there since April 20th to get all wheel drive and axle system repaired! Called everyday to check the status of my vehicle to be informed that it was going to ready for pick up May 20th at 12 noon. Called at 12 on the May 20th talk with Tim the guy at the shop at 12:30 he informed Me that the car had been repaired and that he would call me back within a hour the mechanic at Aamco was out test driving the car! Waited over an hour never received a phone call. I called the shop back to be told that my car caught fire! I have battling with the shop's insurance to pay what is in fact owed to me for my total loss! I have loss my job for not having reliable transportation, this has been a total nightmare! Still haven't got a answer to how and why my car caught fire! Only told that their insurance company will contact me! The guy in the office that I have been taking to since day 1 Tim refused today June 24th to release my car! I had to call Montgomery county police department and my car Warrnty had to contact him! This place is horrible has no sympathy at all the way they treat me! After picking my car up today notice more damages to the back where is works pushed the car inside there work bay! Please I need help finding someone that can help me and prevent this from happening to someone else!

I brought my car in to have the transmission, check out. The gentleman that helped me was named Mark, he was very kind and nice you could tell he understood the stress of having the transmission, go out on your car. He explained the entire process of what they would be doing, and how long it should take. He also explained that he would be in contact with me as soon as they had any information on my car. It was very nice to go into a repair shop that had people that cared about the customer and didn't make you feel like you, were just a number, and they were going to rob you blind. I would refer this shop to all my friends and family.

I came in because I really needed my air, engine mount, and suspension fixed and they fixed everything. I really like Mark because he took his time to explain everything i needed to get done in detail and if you didn't fully understand he would explain it again. The pricing was also very fair so I didn't feel like I was being ripped off.

Horrible service!! Would never recommend Was nice and friendly at first intill warranty didnt do want they wanted to do replaced our engine took it bck a week after they said it was ready because it was smokin and smelled like burnin oil they blamed it on the person who did our oil change come to find out they put a messed up value cover gasket !!
