These guys are awesome. Had a Pre-Purchase Inspection done. They were thorough, gave me a lot of their time, made helpful suggestions. They even made a small repair! The prices are reasonable and the customer service is excellent. Never condescending, they treated me with respect and like a person who knows a bit about cars (what little I do know). They seem genuine and honest. They went above and beyond for me!

Great work and customer relations! AAMCO Lakewood accurately determined that my car's clutch needed to be replaced. They gave me a good quote before doing the work and explained what had to be done. I brought the car back two days later after some price checking and research and they completed the work in a few hours. Bill showed me the parts that had been damaged and described in detail the size sleeve needed since this was a Subaru. Steve, the owner, even gave me a lift to and from my work to make the whole process as easy as possible.

I will never take my car anywhere else! Everyone was extremely helpful, extremely friendly and extremely efficient! My car was fixed properly and in a very timely manner. Bill, the Center Manger is absolutely wonderful! He explained everything to me, what they did, why they did it, what the cost would be and how long it would take. He went out of his way to make sure I was happy and satisfied with my service. 10/10 would recommend!

Free courtesy vehicle check? Not what i was told when I arrived. I made an appointment online, and it was a few days out, which was fine. I got to the shop for my appointment, and the gentleman said he wouldn't be able look at my vehicle. He mentioned it being to tall but then referred to me to come back on Monday and how it would cost a set amount to look at for diagnosis. Very frustrating to wait to have this done to be told they couldn't that day and referred me to another day after saying he wouldn't be able to work on it with it being to tall.

Manager (BILL) is very unprofessional and rude.. He literally had the audacity to try and charge me almost half of what other Amco transmissions would charge me for the same service (transmission fluid change/filter+pan). The other locations I’ve called four of them. They’re all $589 for the same exact thing. This guy wanted to charge me $989 For the same exact thing.. I tried to communicate with him and simply ask him why his prices were amplified almost double of what other AAMCO transmissions are charging for the same thing, he then got defensive and told me I should go there! “DONE, I agree that’s the best honest logical advice he has given me…” What a joke I would refrain from coming to this location, it seems as if they are highly dishonest and out to capitalize on a very inappropriate business standpoint. Possibly taking advantage of other people that have no voice! “ This guy is a joke, Hopefully the owner will keep tabs on his unprofessionalism!” This is definitely going to be voiced to the federal trade commissions office….. -Daniel

The team at Aamco is honest, thorough, and fair-priced. I get nervous taking my car to most shops but I trust this one. Update: took my car in recently because the brakes were squeaking loudly. Instead of selling me something I didn't need, they said the brakes were just dirty. They cleaned them up and now the brakes are fine. These guys work with integrity!

I don’t pull punches. I tell it how it is. The work was great. Although I had code issues when I took it. They tested and cleared and no issues. Bill answered every single call. I had no problem with communication. Christine is always polite. Bill was straightforward and clear in was happening. The tech was polite even though I really wasn’t. Guys. You made decent money from this repair. Would a car wash been out of the question? Or offer to pay for my Lyft rides. It was Filthy. I’m old school and I guess I just expect certain things to be thought of. My regular mechanic cleans it up for me when it’s done. Guys. Just give it back as it came in. I mean isn’t everyone out for repeat business? Don’t you want people to speak highly of your work? Or is that just me!! Another issue occurred that doesn’t need to be discussed. My car runs great and ultimately that’s the most important thing. Thank you

I bought a lemon car from car hop that has had many problems . I've taken my Saturn to at least 3 other mechanic shops before finding this place. All the other shops were over charging me and didn't do a through job on my car because it continued having problems after they "Fixed" it. AAMCO on the other hand has been wonderful to me, they have fair & reasonable prices. They are honest and do a thorough job. My Saturn is driving better than when I bought it. I will never take my car anywhere else. Thanks for the AMAZING service.

I was recently on a roadtrip from Kentucky to Colorado when my Honda Element was having some issues just outside of Boulder. I contacted AAMCO in Lakewood and they were able to get my car in for a look. Towed my car and they found a broken axle on my passenger side and broken transmission mount. They gave me a good quote and did the work incredibly fast. The team was very responsive and called me periodically with updates and what was going on with my car / if they found anything else. I picked up the car and made it back to KY safely. They did a great job getting me back on the road and I would highly suggest their services!

If your ever having a comprehensive problem with your vehicle, I would highly recommend you bring it to this shop. The team of experts that operate here are very high level, and the work they do is a lot more than you would expect from anywhere else. Additionally, they actually care about both their customers as well as their vehicles and will definitely follow through with any issues, as well as stand behind their work. My family has been coming here for as long as I can remember. They are very established, and it is one of the only places that I can completely trust both with my vehicle as well as the work they do. Their attention to detail and follow through is really quite amazing, and as someone who drives for a living I very much appreciate the work they have done for me!
