David did.a great job explaining to me their inspection and repair service. My vehicle had sat at another shop for over a month. I contact David, and he had my vehicle diagnosed and repaired in less than a week. He answered all questions and went over best and worse case scenarios. I have a 1993 Lincoln that I’m restoring. They handled with professionalism and were very knowledgeable about other things to look out for. New or old I will take my vehicles to this shop.

Great, fast and efficient service, awesome customer service. I took my car in right before closing I got a call from them the next day before lunch. I took my car for a diagnostic test and they said if they didn’t have to lift it, it’s free but other wise 80-90 I can’t remember. You would think they would lift it just to get paid BUT NO! They actually did what they could before going ahead and lifting it and gave me a diagnosis for my car. I highly recommend these guys.

My first service at AAMCO of Greensboro. Manager David offered to check my truck first thing if I got there at the open of business. Mike did a great job diagnosing the problem. I couldn't leave it for service that day but brought it back the next morning and they attacked it first thing. So pleasantly surprise with the very reasonable bill. No diagnostic fee that everyone else seems to charge. Great communication and customer service. Will use them again.

AAMCO has excellent customer service. I have came to them about multiple issues with my car and they have been trustworthy and honest with me. This is a big deal to me as many other places aren’t trustworthy. They are upfront and honest. I have took my car to other places and they would say that my car needs a lot of work done to it. I took it over to AAMCO and they told me it was a small problem and can be easily fixed. I will always recommend this place to all my friends and family. Dan is great thank you for all of your help

Not at all impressed by this shop to say the least.. like some other shops they always say,"we'll call ya when we figure it out". Well, week goes by not a peep.. then I call for status check on diagnoses (very reasonable) and they tell me whats wrong etc...... I wish shops could communicate wayyyyy more instead if leaving me in the dark!! And on top of that basically blame me and say its my fault for having transfer case issues after having fluids changed earlier this year.....last, on the ticket slip yall gave me i noticed the "mile in and mile out" were exactly the same. That tells you didnt even test drive the vehicle to heat the noise described..

Extremely professional, honest and efficient shop! They replaced the transmission in my wife’s truck and worked with our warranty company that we had to keep the repair cost low. Most shops wouldn’t even work with a warranty company but the manager and staff here at this AAMCO were super helpful and handled it all. Our truck was handled with care (no new stains or dents or scratches that you fear when a vehicle is in service for a while), they kept us updated on the whole process, and it’s driving perfectly now. Thanks again for helping us and working with the warranty company! If anyone needs a transmission diagnosed/replaced/rebuilt this is the place! Our only complaint is we wish this shop and its staff were closer to where we lived! If we ever have any other major issues we will make the hour drive out to this shop because of how great the service and experience was.

I had my alternator removed an replaced on 3/28/15 for $575.12. On 2/27/26 I had my battery replaced and less than 48 hours later on 2/1/26 my battery light came on and I was by Auto Zone and stopped and he checked it and it said "bad alternator" so I immediately drove it right home to prevent breaking down. I had a friend who works for Firestone also double check it yesterday 3/3 26 and confirmed it is a bad alternator so I am having it replaced on 3/5/26. I called Aamco first thing Monday morning 3/2/26 and explained what happened and that the alternator was not even one year old. Their warranty is 12 months or 12,000 miles and I am about $1500 over on miles (very minimal) and the point is an alternator should last at least 7 years most definitely not only 11 months. I bought my car in 2013 (2013 Kia Optima) and first alternator replacement was 12 years later on 3/28/25 at Aamco. The man I spoke with (started with a J I'm pretty sure) was very casual and said since the miles were over it would be up to the vendor if they wanted to honor a warranty, asked if I wanted the number of their towing contractor, and said if it wasn't covered they would sell me a new one. It would be over my dead body that I would buy another service from your company and give you a penny when you sold me an alternator that defected in 11 months. So you want me to pay out of pocket to tow to your location and then if you choose not to cover a replacement I would have to have it towed back home, make that make sense from a customer service stand point. I have chosen to get it fixed from Firestone instead of paying for the cost to tow and not even being reassured that they would cover the repair. He was very non chalant, didn't say he would reach out to the vendor and see if they would cover, or even initiate any type of resolution other that have it towed here and we will look at it. I would be very cautious doing business at this location and this is my personal experience.
