After my Ford Escape 2018 has been stop moving two shops recommended to replace transmission from $2800- 3000.I took it to this place for last option and I dropped it. After 2 hours I got phone call and they told me the problem is Axel. They fixed it the same day and my car is run very well. The shop crew is very good. customer care and handling is so great. their ability to explain the related job was professional. overall they are respect full and friendly. it is reasonable charge. Couldn't ask for a better mechanic shop. Other shops wouldn't give us the time of day, and they took care of everything. They work with warranty companies for you and do their due-diligence. We picked up our car yesterday, March 19, after less than 48 hours at the shop for a massive job. The dealership delivered the wrong parts, and they still found a way to get our car back to us on time. We are returning this upcoming week to have AAMCO take care of our next project. We were happy to give them our hard-earned money.

I looked around for a spot to get work done to my car and this spot had 4.5/5 stars. I understand why. Most places you go to, at least my experience, the people are terrible almost like they made a mistake in there choice in career and they take it out on the customers. But these guys are extremely nice and they are really helpful. They let me know and I knew that my oil was pretty dirty because of how long I let it go and they mentioned that it'll be ready the next day but I had to be at my office at work by 7am and they rushed to make sure I got it back the same day. Don't seem money hungry at all. The whole process was as smooth as butter. It always sucks to leave with a bill but there customer service makes it hurt a bit less. Thank you so much. Will be back for any other auto services in the future.

My experience was superior. Joseph the customer service rep is an outstanding representative to this company. He is ideal for customer service giving suggestions to the customer on what is needed at the best possible price. I've definitely found my repair shop, honest professional staff that know what they're doing. Deal with Joseph, he won't steer you wrong. I recently returned to AAmco & my 25 year old Honda needed a new distributor. The existing one was original so I have no complaints. Joseph & staff once again took care of the problem with great professionalism & friendliness. Fair price & I was back on the road. He and his team worked very diligently and had the utmost patience in dealing with all the emotions I was going through as someone who needed major work done to their only vehicle while also being paranoid about the cost. I needed a new transmission while visiting my daughter and for her car. I needed it done in a hurry as I was about to head back home. The manager was great. He helped me get it in and diagnosed. He without pressure presented my options. I agreed to just replace it as I didn't want it to sieze while my kid was driving it. He was so helpful getting it in and serviced in short order. My jeep had a check engine light come on just after Christmas 2024. So I brought it here in January of 25. Had the transmission completely replaced for over 6k. And it kept having the check engine light come back on several timestimes over several months only to be told that there was nothing that they could do because it was a wiring issue not a transmission issue. So now I’m out six grand and a jeep because I can’t get the damn thing fixed. Don’t recommend coming here. Also, if you do have an issue with this one Springfield, they won’t help you because they can’t help any ammco Customer within 50 miles of another store

If there were a lower rating I would choose it. I called to schedule a possible rear transmission leak and provided my info. The next day I arrived to drop off my vehicle and they seemed as though they didn’t have my appointment and took down my info again w a pencil and paper. This was on NYE. By Jan 2nd I had heard nothing. I called and was told they would call back with more info by 1030am that Friday morning. I never received a call. I attempted to call on Saturday only to find they were closed. I called the following Monday as soon as they opened. I expressed my issue not having received a call only to be told they had and to check my call log. I expressed it was irrelevant because if they did , they only tried once and left no message (I checked my log and found no missed call). I asked if they had done anything to my car and the said no because they didn’t have permission. I told them no to touch it and asked to cost and issue. I was told it was a rear axel cap leak and would cost 1500-1800. I told them not to touch my vehicle. I spoke w my husband who agrees it didn’t make sense and was over priced. He attempted to call and the manger was not there and the person he spoke to knew nothing about my car even being there. Manger never called back and after an hour my husband called back and advised the employee we would be picking up the vehicle. Upon arriving to get the vehicle the manger simply said hello to us and told his employee to retrieve the vehicle, then sat in silence while we waited. Worst service we have ever had. No one should leave their car in their hands.
