They fixed my car for a week that cost me $1660 on battery; Alternator and coolant pipe. After I took my car and paid them, I realized that there is no AC in my car when I was going to drive back to New Jersey and I called them in the same hour of time. They told me to bring my car back to them. I returned to their store. They didn't put back the Freon when they installed the alternator. They told me to leave my car 1 more day cuz the weather is getting cold and their Freon is out! In the end I needed to work with my car and they suggested me to go to East Brunswick branch to fix my Freon. Friend of mine heard my car has no Freon and he told me he can help me on this. When he open my car and look he told me the front of my car air filter system is loose because Aamco didn't put the screws back after they changed the battery! Furthermore he checked the alternator he said they had changed the new one but the splash shield they took out without putting back. I'm very disappointed about the services provided. Update review! I picked up my car on Oct 1,2024. On Oct 28,2024 yesterday My car was suddenly disabled at the highway. The police came and helped! It was very cold in the morning and my car battery totally died in an hour( no lights even the emergency lights are not blinking) when I was waiting for the towing to come to pull my car away! So dangerous my situation was the police told cuz was on the highways! They towed my car and I had to spend 251 dollars on the towing service! I told the towing guy that my car had just changed the battery and alternator not even a month ago. Then he tried to jumpstart my car and my car works again! The towing guy told me the Battery they installed was loose. A waste of 251 for towing and my time! In addition, I realize they don't put my front engine splash shield back when they are done fixing and checking my car. I neglected to check my car when picking my car up because I trusted their service provided! And ended up with my car's screws; splash shield under and sides are missing too. I am very disappointed and frustrated with the services provided by Aamco Ralph Ave in Brooklyn.

Hello everyone!! Wow wow wow this AAMCO and the reason this is in capitol bcz these wonderful people helped me a whole lot and Nakita she is soooo very helpful polite words cannot explain and Wesley this gentleman really knows and understand how you feel when it comes to cars!! He would not steer you wrong he's very attentive, polite, understandable and he keeps it real!! I'm giving them a very good shootout and with great pleasure and gratitude!! I know now that when I need my car to be worked on I will definitely come to AAMCO!!

I recently took my old car for service at AAMCO on Ralph Avenue after shopping around for a good mechanic and reasonable repair quote. Nakita at the reception desk was very welcoming and requested that I performed a diagnostic test to see exactly what I needed to repair. Mr. Wesley took the time to explain all the details and was honest by telling me exactly what needed to get fixed. As a woman who doesn't know much about cars I would definitely recommend anyone to see Nakita and Mr. Wesley if you're looking for a reasonable price great service.

Scam Artist Came in with a very clear Drivability issue, had me pay 1k to fix a sensor and when i immediately got into the car i felt it, talking about “they fixed it” they didn’t even test drive the car or they would notice that wasn’t the case. Then when i return the car they said it was the something completely else and charged me 2k the problem diminished at best and came back with a worse a week later. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE DO NOT GO HERE THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY

We visited two mechanical shops, but none of them could pinpoint the issue. So, we took the car to a car dealership for diagnosis. They quoted us an exorbitant price to replace the transmission, prompting us to consider scrapping the vehicle. However, we decided to give AAMCO a chance. Wesley was exceptionally transparent about the price and the required work. Their quoted price is reasonable, and the communication was seamless and straightforward. It’s great that they also include a warranty.

Avoid AAMCO on Ralph Ave & Clarendon at All Costs! I went to AAMCO thinking I was dealing with a trusted brand-name shop, but it turned out to be the worst mistake. They charged me $200 and didn’t even fix anything. My car left with the same exact issue, and I’m convinced their diagnostics were completely fake. The so-called "readings" they gave me felt made-up just to squeeze money out of me. What’s worse, I ended up getting the whole job—including the AC compressor—done properly at an independent shop on Clarendon rd and Bedford ave for only $400. Where I was quoted here at AAMCO to pay over $1300 On top of that, I received respectful and honest service, something AAMCO sorely lacks. I’m writing this because I’m beyond aggravated. I feel like I was scammed, plain and simple. AAMCO might have the name, but based on my experience, they’re worse than any corner shop I’ve been to. And judging by how many glowing reviews they somehow have, I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re buying fake reviews to cover up their shady work. Don’t make the mistake I did. Stay far away from AAMCO and specifically this location.

I dropped off my car on Monday, 12/1/25 and was greeted by Wesley. He went over everything with me and never was bothered by my questions. .He informed me the part that I needed for my vehicle would need to be ordered and he will update me periodically. He kept his word and I was updated when the part came, and when the technician removed my old part to installed the new part. The customer service I received was outstanding and he went above and beyond throughout this process. I was told I could pick up my car on 12/3/25. It was a lot of traffic and the B47 wasn’t moving fast enough for me. He assured me to not worry and will see me soon. If I had went to another repair shop, they would not have been understanding like Wesley and would have told me to come on 12/4/25 to pick up my car. He waited and I arrived at 4:58 pm with just 2 minutes before closing. I signed the paperwork and received my car 😁. Thank you! If you need your car to be fixed/serviced, bring it to 1266 Ralph Avenue and ask to speak to Wesley. He will take great care of your car!
