Jesse was AMAZING to work with. He gave me all the information on the financing program so I could get the repairs I needed done. He told me exactly what I needed done to be safe and he didn’t try to sell me things I didn’t need. He was very understanding of my needs. I was able to drop off my car with him to figure out what it needed, which is great so I didn’t have to take off work! There is just so many great things I would say about Jesse and AAMCO. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing repairs or maintenance done on their vehicles!!

Totally impressed with the service, care, and integrity of this company!!! I would recommend them to any and everyone. Took my suburban in for an air conditioning problem. Jeff gave me good, and, bad scenarios of cost for repairs after looking it over. Got the call from Jeff that it was finished, and the cost was absolute lowest price of estimates! I was willing to pay what needed to be done, and they knew it, and I still was only charged the least amount. So very very nice to deal with such honest and good people. I recommend them 100% !!! Jesse was great. The technician who helped me was very informed. I had just had my truck "repaired " down the street. It still was not working correctly. Took it into the shop, they told car shield the engine was blown would fix for 5000 after car shield said they wouldn’t cover it. Took the car to another person, he fixed the blown fuse, new battery and it’s just fine. Don’t trust them or car shield.

Subpar from my first interaction with this shop. In Dec ‘24 my check engine light came on in my car. I was directed to come to this shop by the dealership I bought my car from. My first interaction with this shop was the only one I can say was good. They diagnosed it within an hour that the transmission needed replaced. Jesse called me later that afternoon and said the dealership approved replacing the transmission. He said he would order the transmission and it should be there by mid-end of the following week. This was the ONLY time Jesse and the shop contacted me. From early December to January 22nd I contacted them three times to see if they had my transmission yet. On the 22nd Jesse said yes they did have it and he had it noted that they contacted me a couple of times but didn’t hear back from me. This IS a BOLD FACED LIE! They never called! I dropped my car off the night of Jan 26th. They started replacing the transmission on the 27th. It was done and I picked it up on Jan 31st @ 8am. Around noon that same day I went to park and the shifter got stuck in Reverse. My car would not start. I called the shop and spoke to Jesse. His comments were the shifter cable could of come off or if it’s an internal issue with the transmission it’s not our problem because it wasn’t our transmission. I was very upset and distraught because I waited TWO months to get this done and just FOUR hours after the transmission was replaced my car was not drivable and stuck in Reverse and Jesse didn’t seem to care or bat at an eye at this at all. He actually did said “I don’t know what you want me to do”. He then requested that I open the hood and check to see if the shifter cable came off. I told him I had no clue how to do that and how does he know this is a transmission issue and not from something his shop did or didn’t do when they put it in. My boyfriend came to where I was. He checked and the bracket the shifter cable sits in was loose and not holding the cable in place. He was able to rig it temporarily so I could drive my car back to the shop in Topeka. Once there my boyfriend showed Jesse and another employee the problem with the bracket not holding the cable in place. They decided to replace the new bracket with the one on my old transmission. This did work and I haven’t had any other issues. However this shifter cable issue was the shop’s fault. This shop needs education on customer service, communication, and checks to ensure their work is done correctly. If I should have any issues in the future I will strongly request that the dealership allow me to take my car else where and not here.

Took my car here and gave them some random symptoms it's been having. They came back saying I needed a new transmission and a $8k bill. I went to Topeka Transmission right after that for a second opinion and they said there's nothing wrong with the transmission - maybe a speed sensor starting to go bad but hasn't yet. So if you're looking for an honest mechanic, Topeka Transmission is the place to go.

My sister took her car in and the guy said it needed its wires repaired, which he charged over a grand for. He pushed the ready date back by a few days and wasted our time. When it was ready, she paid and drove it off the lot, but within a few min down the road noticed it was still having the same issues as before, the whole reason she brought it in the first time. She called and said it wasn’t fixed and the guy on the phone was giving attitude and acting unprofessional. Told her she needed to drive the car back in order to get her refund. With her car only able to reach 5mph and engine smoking, she made it back to the lot and confronted him about it not being fixed. He offered to take a look at it again or to refund her. But why would we trust him to try and fix it a second time, when he didn't even fix it the first time. So we asked for a refund instead and said we’d take it somewhere else. The guy gave it back (thankfully), but did not even verify that the car wasn’t actually fixed. He so easily gave back over a grand, without going back to check on the car to verify that WE weren’t lying. Which leads me to believe he already knew it wasn’t actually fixed, that’s why he didn’t feel the need to verify that. He had let my sister drive off the lot, knowing it wasn’t in the right condition to drive, while her 2 babies were also in the back. We also popped the hood to find cheap tape wrapped around the wires that were supposed to be replaced and repaired. Paid over a thousand dollars for some cheap tape. Wasted our time and it seems like he tried to pull a fast one and scam us. Took it to Watson Automotive on Lyman, trustworthy and won’t screw anyone over. Would give this place 0 stars

Jessie is a freaking life saver. My car broke down it needed a new engine had fluids leaking on my spark plugs had lights and electrical issues that resolved themselves after the engine was replaced. He was so so patient with me. I kept calling trying to cordiante between him and my car dealership to get the engine covered. Normally I don’t like going to shops. Especially for people who aren’t all that knowledgeable about cars because most shops would rip you off. but honestly Jessie talked about the process, he was super patient with me. After Jessie got the engine he had it done in a few days. He also found other things that were wrong and is working with me on it. Absolutely 20/10 truly truly satisfied with him and his business. Thank you so much Jessie you’re truly a girls hero 😂 because I was panicking. I’ve never been so happy for a mechanic shop.

If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. I paid $1300 and they didn’t fix the issue at all. When I told them my car was still having the same issues as soon as I drove it away from the lot, he tried telling me he didn’t understand what I was saying and pretty much made me out to be a liar. He had me drive it back to his shop for “proof” that it wasn’t operating correctly and my grandma met me there. We opened the hood up and all they did was put cheap tape around the wiring of my car instead of replacing all the wiring like they said they would do for $900 of labor. They did refund me but they tried to scam me from the beginning. The guy had a terrible attitude and was super disrespectful. His name was Jesse I believe

Jessie and his team are amazing! I have had several things that Ford couldn’t figure out; fixed on my vehicle here and they always fix it fast, at a fair price and keep me updated! I dreaded taking my car to the shop when the transmission went out, but they made it fast and affordable! I also get my oil changed here at about 50% less than the dealership or anywhere else! Jesse is an amazing Manager. There is no overcharge he tells you what needs to done. Referring to my college daughter's car blower and resister went out. She is in Hastings NE had her take it to locate shop est was > $7600 and the blower and resister weren't even listed. I was like they saw her coming. Long story short we brought the car to Jesse and his crew, well under half the cost of the original est. car is fixed running great and there will be no worries about safety. And YES heat and Ac work fine. Always a smile always time to explain .never feel rushed in or out. THANK YOU OUR WHOLE FAMILY USES THEM!!!

Great shop to get an oil change or anything else. Julie at the front desk is awesome!! She was friendly and knowledgeable and got me everything I needed, all while very busy (they had a great oil change sale going on). Jeff in the back is very good also. He changed my oil and rotated my tires quickly and took me out to show me where I had a possibly leaking axle bearing. Instead of pressuring me on this he wrote it up on my paperwork so I could take it to my dealer since he figured it was still under warranty and covered under powertrain coverage. Nice waiting room and accommodations too. Will come back!

My car sat at the place of business for 3 weeks and they never kept it locked, as a result I got more car damage when someone went through my vehicle, I had change in the cup holder. The previous owner hooked up an IPad cord that was hooked up under the dash and cord came out through cup holder. And when the person stole the change out of it, they also had that cord caught up in there hand and pulled it out really far. Messing up my radio, check engine light is on. Also my car came out driving worse than driven in. They was supposed to do an alignment, and I have to drive with wheel turning towards left, cause wants to drive off in right lane. When asked why no one test drove before to make sure it was right, the only answer I got was well we took it to get aligned. Just frustrating. We trust these people people basically with our lives. And they could careless about taking pride in their work, or our lives. All about money! Tired of being taken advantage of!
