Truly above and beyond service. Had an issue that was expected to be quick and easy. However, it turned out to be something more unexpectedly; the technicians and management articulated well, and the timeline expanded. That said, I was blessed to encounter such a scenario here with this shop in contrast to anywhere else. Patience is a virtue across the board of life, and they will see to it that it is held to that when dealing business with them. 10/10

Went to get a trans leak diagnosed and didn’t get one answer except my engine is missing parts and that ill need an entirely new transmission but didn’t give me a reason why! Then on my ride home I heard and entirely loud noise of something rattling turns out the technician didn’t properly reinstall my tire 3 of the lugs were loose wouldn’t recommend going to any AAmco to any one!!!! 0 stars

Had a brand new transmission installed in my Chevy Tahoe in Memphis,Tn drove back home to Chicago and noticed a vibration in my Tansmission contacted the Aamco here in Chicago and they informed me that I needed new axle bearings and seal in the rear differential and that was supposed to fix the problem, another thousand plus dollars and now I have the same problem I don’t recommend them and still waiting to hear back from corporate because someone is giving some money back or to court we go!!!

Went in for a check on the transmission but was told I needed to change my gear ratio. This is fine because it is something I needed to do, but they never checked my car to tell me that. Didn’t put it up, don’t think they even moved it and I really think he was just basing it off my tire size and the symptoms I expressed. I’m rating it this high because the young man manning the front desk was one of the most respectful people I’ve dealt with in a while. He was helping people with getting financing together for repairs. He was very courteous to me. The guys in there seem solid, I just wasn’t a fan of how one of their techs went about this.

Well I had my car towed to dealership where I was informed that I needed a motor and the dealership didn’t recommend that I use my extended warranty so I had my Malibu towed to AAMCO at 4701 S Halsted where my extended warranty was excepted. Great customer service , very thorough technicians. Come to find out I didn’t need a new engine. My car is back on the road and running just fine. I am so grateful that I made the correct decision to go with AAMCO and that’s where I will be taking my Malibu for all services needed . I really appreciate Marcus and technicians.
