I can’t recommend this place. The guy at the front desk used the restroom without washing his hands (or at least he broke the speed of light because the toilet flushed at the same time the door opened). Then I am quoted $55 for a diagnostic. Then the diagnostic comes back saying I’m in desperate need of an oil change when I got an oil change that morning. If they misdiagnosed something that basic, red flag. Then when I decided to just pick up my car and pay the $55 diagnostic fee, they tried to charge me $270 saying they had to do a “block diagnosis”. Then the man at the desk is unhappy with another customer (Justin) and grunts “Jesus!” As he hangs up the phone in a huff. Just not a great vibe in there and I didn’t feel comfortable spending my money here.

Gave honest opinion. Dealership told me I needed a new transmission. Adam and sons said it was fine. Feel very relieved.

Sam and Jamie were so helpful. The mechanics did a lot of testing and could not find anything wrong with my car. Sam did not charge me for the diagnostic!

Incredibly professional! Fantastic with communication about my car and very in-depth write up for my inspection. I have never seen an inspection as thorough as they do! Looking forward to going back for my repairs!

This was my first visit to this shop and it was top notch all the way. I was looking for an alternative to the Subaru dealer. Adam and Son is the perfect solution for me, closer, friendlier, and just plain better. I will be going back for future maintenance and for any repairs.

I can't say enough about how great this shop is!! I hit a pothole heading south on Union Blvd. I don't have anyone to change a tire for me, AAA expired. I just happened to see the shop across from where I safely pulled off the road. They sent Trevor their tech out to change my tire. Turns out I bent the rim and broke the outter tie rod!! They got me in the shop that day, fixed the next day and back on the road. Joseph in the front office provided top notch customer service! The whole process was professional and efficient. I was even able to pick my keys up after hours! I highly recommend these guys!!

Amazing customer service delivered by Jamie. Got my truck in and fixed within 48 hours!!! Had a leaking exhaust manifold on my gmc truck and bolts were snapped off and they still did it within 48 hours so my work schedule wouldn’t be disturbed. Very satisfied. Edit : stopped using them after realizing their prices are insane. Never fixed my issue with my truck, spent about 3.5k just for nothing. Fixed the issue myself.

Bad customer service. Called in to get a ballpark estimate for a transmission replacement. I provided all pertinent info in order to estimate this. I spoke with Jamie. She refused to give the estimate over the phone and insisted I bring my vehicle in. 3 other shops were able to provide the estimate based on the info I gave them. Why was this shop not able to do that. You guys lost my business because of your call taker's inexperience. If you can't even handle a phone call, why would I trust your shop with my vehicle?

Sam and Jamie were awesome! The work was done immediately following the inspection. The inspection estimate was easy to open and review. The pictures were clear. They offered me rides or a loaner vehicle! My first time using Adam & Sons but won’t be the last! I found my family mechanic!

Seriously amazing. I was a little sticker shocked by how much a CVT flush cost but they broke it down and explained it to me and didn’t make me feel bad in any way. They were genuine and real about it and that convinced me to move forward with the service. Jamie was super nice and so was Sam who shuttled me back and forth to my house. They are now my go-to mechanic shop!

They wanted $240 just to diagnose after telling them what I needed and I can’t even imagine what they would’ve charged for them to replace a slave or master cylinder on a 1997 ford ranger for the clutch which is what I asked. Don’t know how they even get people to come here if I were you I wouldn’t bring anything here.

I brought my car in about a week ago after calling ahead. They told me the inspection was complimentary, but when I arrived, I was told it actually wasn’t free. That was frustrating, but I went ahead since my car was already there. They gave me a quote for several thousand dollars worth of work — most of it based on mileage, not actual issues. Even the technician said many parts were working fine. I only approved an oil change. The next day, I checked under the hood and realized the oil hadn’t been changed. The oil was still dirty, and the oil filter still had the date from my last oil change. They charged me over $200 for an inspection and an oil change that they didn’t even do. After several follow-ups, they did refund me, but the experience left me upset. If I hadn’t checked, this could have caused serious engine damage. I wouldn’t recommend this shop unless you’re prepared to double-check their work.

10/10 recommend! Will definitely be returning for all future maintenance and repairs. Brought my car to Jiffy Lube for oil change then noticed my car was leaking, covered 1/2 my driveway. Returned to Jiffy Lube because I suspected oil leak, where I was told nothing was leaking. Scheduled an appointment next day at Adam & Son where there quickly found an oil leak through the oil filter and were very communicative about what was needed to get my car fixed! There was no pressure to do repairs through them, as they knew I went to Jiffy Lube prior for the oil change, however, with them being so transparent, and kind I decided that this was the best place to complete repairs!

It pains me to say it, but... they continue to struggle mightily with diagnostics. It'd been a couple years, and they are close to me and friendly in the office, so tried them again, but they fumbled badly again. At this point, questioning if it isn't intentional. On the plus side, they were fair with diagnostic cost, but should have been free considering how off they were. Told us both turbos needed replaced for $7800 (spoiler alert: neither needed replaced). Asked why, they said because of the symptoms (loss of power, rough running, check engine light, "whooshing" sound), but that they would have to diagnose the check engine light further once turbos were replaced. Took it to Ford instead. They scoffed at A&S's reason for replacing the turbos and checked the vehicle out themselves. Here's what was really wrong--check engine light and loss of power and rough running: bad ignition coil. Not turbos. An ignition coil. The intercooler was physically damaged (they diagnosed that correctly at least) and, while replacing it, Ford found a bad bypass valve (the "whooshing" sound). Now everything is working better than it has for years, at a fraction of the cost. Get a second opinion, folks.

I was convinced that I had a big problem. A&S diagnosed the vehicle and turned out battery cable was lose. Rookie mistake on my part, but they were honest and Jeep is running smooth for $50.

Adam & Son USED to be my Go to garage they were wonderful, friendly and helpful. Then they got new people and different Manager and they are awful and WAY OVERPRICED just went for an oil change and to swap my seasonal tires and the came up with a list of other things they claimed I "needed" to the tune of Over $3k I refused and suddenly they are supposedly worried about liability and other BS. Checked the services the claimed I need with 2 other places for prices and they were at least $500 more than both the other quotes. Won't be back.

I found those shop while I was passing through town and had car trouble. They were fantastic! I got an appointment online for the next morning. I spent the day with them in the lobby and Jamie and Sam were so great! So kind, welcoming and helpful. They helped diagnose the problem and get me on my way. So grateful to have found them!

This shop is extremely meticulous and proper on how they do diagnostic and service summary for the customer. The technicians are knowledgeable about what they do. However, this was my second experience with the front desk being a bit standoff-ish. Unfortunately they made me feel as if I was inconveniencing them with my business. Initially when dropping off the car, I scheduled an appointment for Wednesday and was told they scheduled me for 8a, but to bring the car whenever available. Upon arrival, the front desk made it a point to tell me that I was “very late” for my appointment. After services, when I got to my car, they had left the floor mat and plastic in my seat. I expressed that I had hoped, after a $250 diagnostic, that they hadn’t left trash in my seat. Instead of assuring me that it was a mistake she stated “that’s not trash”. Overall, knowledgeable techs but the quotes given are seemingly steep. (Found another local shop that would engine swap a used motor from an identical model for $5k all in, Adam & son was quoting me $18k for a new motor). I won’t be returning and I urge others to be cautious and get a second quote. You can typically find similar services more affordably elsewhere, as I did.
