Be careful when you choose this place. I have a broken side mirror and the guy said $200 with everything included. But the next time when I got there, he said he needs to charge $20 extra because he forgot to add something. He is very inconsiderate. This is ridiculous and I would go to somewhere else.

i don’t know who wrote these fake reviews or if nobody has been to a real honest mechanic but this place is not it. very rude lady answered the phone giving a crazy quote and insisted i buy the part from them so they can make extra money. no thank you, bye.

I showed up unannounced for a NYS inspection and was done in under 30 mins. No experience with their repairs/diagnostics, but you get a read on people and Adiel seems like a humble and honest guy. Will update this review if I go back for a repair.

I brought my Jeep Cherokee to Adiel after being in a fender bender. I visited a few shops and no one gave me more confidence than Adiel that the job would be done well. Before we did the work, because the Jeep is over 25 years old, we talked about having a complete look at the car to make sure everything was sorted and running well -- which was exactly what I needed. Overall, his communication is great, the prices are excellent, and when I picked up my Jeep I couldn't be happier with the work!

I came 5 minutes early before they opened and Adiel came out to help me with car problems. After careful inspection of my dent on bumper, headlight, and ac compression fix - I did not feel cheated at all! You could tell Adiel really cares about his customers and he is funny! I'll be sure to come back soon and he is highly rated the best in the neighborhood!

Adiel has represented the Woodside community for several decades. I've been using him as a mechanic for over six years. He is honest, communicates well and always takes pictures of the issues he finds with your car. He also corrected issues that weren't successfully addressed once and didn't charge anything extra. If you are looking for a honest well respected mechanic I recommend him without hesitation.

It's such a delight having a mechanic you can trust. Every time I bring my car to the Honda Repair Center for inspection, they provide me with crazy repair suggestions that i find unreasonable. Clearly, their goal is to maximize profits. Then I take my car to Adiel and he has always provided more honest repair suggestions, always far less work than what Honda want to charge me for. His work on my car has always been great and timely. He has earned a five star review from me.

Not Adiel anymore. Have been using him for years, and still shows up on Google as Adiel but new owner is shady. When I showed up to pick up my car for inspection, it wasn’t there. They had taken it to another location. Tried to say he couldn’t give me inspection sticker without spending $2000k on repairs. Car is running fine. Go elsewhere.

I took my car in last week for state inspection and was told that I needed a bunch of things repaired and was quoted an estimate of 6K, during which time I found out that Adiel retired 3 months ago and the person I was speaking with is the new owner. He said that since I am a loyal Adiel customer that he would pass the inspection and suggested that I do the minimal repair he recommended, which would cost about $1,200. Also when I asked about the hourly rate of $90 vs. the $125 he was charging, he said, oh, ok, I will give you Adiel's rate. I saved myself $5,850 by getting a second opinion where I was told that there is nothing wrong with my car. Absolutely not to be trusted, especially if you are female.

I was recommended to Ariel Auto Repair by a friend that also owns a later model German vehicle. I had both the Engine light and the EPC indicator on and the car when cold was starting rough. Adi and his team pinpointed the main issue, identified some other areas of concern, made the suggested changes after verbal confirmation, road tested the vehicle to ensure it was ready and gave me a decent price for the labor. The best part was when I arrived to pick my vehicle up the team was wiping the down my newly repaired and freshly wash car. The only downside to my experience was the amount of time they had the vehicle, but that really was more about my availability to get back out to the shop to pick up, than them not being finished. This has been my best auto repair experience to date and I would recommend Ariel Auto Repair to anyone that wants good service, fair pricing and quick response.

My wife and I had been going to Adiel's for car repair service for years. So after I had an accident in which a car rear-ended my vehicle into another car in front of me, we knew where to go immediately. We didn't know that the business had been sold to Avid. But what a blessing that turned out to be. Avid was legendary in his kindness, attentiveness, and assistance. Truly, I cannot overstate the incredible quality of service we received. Even though Avid clearly had many clients to support, he made me feel like I was the only one with his attention to my case. As an English teacher, I value communication skills above all else. Avid explained everything to me in the clearest terms, both aloud and in writing via text messages. He told me exactly what next steps I needed to take and what I could expect. At all times, it was clear that he was speaking from a wealth of experience, knowledge, and legitimate expertise in the world of auto repair. Everything he told me to expect played out exactly as he described, and I followed his instructions to a very agreeable resolution. At all times, the communication and support were stellar. As the situation resolved, I told Avid that he's now our guy. We will be bringing our new vehicle to Avid for any service needs from this point forward. Thank you, Avid, for everything you did to support us!
