It is a cold, icy day today. Schools all around the area are closed. Even Missouri State University is closed and they don't close for anything! My wife had to go to work and she was excited to find that they were closing early. That is, until she found out that her car wouldn't start. The cold had killed what remained of her battery. I live across town and I have two kids. Our road is a sheet of ice. I couldn't get out of the house to help but Advance Auto Parts was just down the road from her. I gave them a call and someone drove her, jumped her car, and led her back to their store so she could get a new battery. They were infinitely kind and bent over backwards to help us out. I felt horrible for asking them to jump her car but they didn't think a thing about it. I cannot praise them enough for how kind they were today.

I never had such a bad experience at auto parts store like I had on my first visit here. I would not recommend this store to anyone. They are not in business to make you happy but to make you upset and disappointed and to rip you off. Do not trust them. This store stole money from me. Make a better choice. Go to AutoZone or O'Reilly. Seriously!

I came out of a store and surprisingly had a dead battery,my grandkids with me,no tools, but luckily it was across the street from Advance auto parts. I called and explained my problem,The store manager got on the phone and said he would be right over, He wasn't kidding,2 minutes maybe...he's standing in front of the car and I am fired up with a jump box ! I drove over bought a battery,terminal grease .He took out the old one,cleaned everything, installed it and I was on the road in about 20 minutes from the first sign of the dead battery! It doesn't get better than that! The manager cared about helping somebody,he didn't have to come help me! Highly recommend this place! That's the way business is supposed to be done.

I needed a wrench set to fix my car, this place was the only one in Springfield with it in stock. Being a woman and going into an auto parts store is intimidating but this place made the experience easy and I didn’t feel out of place! I highly recommend this store for their customer experience and quantity of products.

Jennifer lied to me and sold me parts that failed in 5 months. She told me I’d be able to exchange the parts at Carquest (I live 60 miles away) and I can’t. Only advance can warranty parts even though Carquest gave me my core charges back. Now I have to find a way to get to Springfield because Jennifer is a liar and doesn’t know what she’s doing. Great.

I bought my parts here for my cab , when I tried to take my core part in for the core charge that was practically double the part I had the receipt and the number I got the part under all the things they said I needed to get my core yet my drivers license was on my phone he said we can’t take it and I offer birth certificate ssn paperwork on car college id anything on me and he simply said I have to scan it ? I never gave my id to begin with so now I’m left another trip across and back just to scan an id that never bound me to the part to begin with never using the advance auto parts again

My husband & I Went to Advanced Auto parts in Springfield Missouri & gave them $2,500 for a brand new motor & got nothing.They will not give the money back.Warning never go to advanced auto parts they will rip you off.We will never put ourselves it that position again.We will never use Advanced Auto Parts.It only took one visit from us & 3 strikes your out when it comes to getting business from us again. They are the worse Auto parts place that we have ever been to.Never again!!!!!!!! Please Share

They had my battery's for my big truck in stock, the manager Jeremy was very helpful! Would definitely recommend to a friend! Thanks guys. I know where to go to get battery's for my big trucks that require three or more battery's. Was also impressed that they had a large selection of performance parts right there in stock, plus they also had a large selection of window visors in stock. Well staffed and no wait when I walked threw the door.

Old lady behind the counter refused to honor their price on multiple parts. Parts were listed online and in store for that price and refused to sell them to me. Went to O’Reillys and they priced match the parts. There’s a reason only one of these parts stores are in this town.

Was in store on previous day inquiring about a new & a reman engine. They had no idea about the warranty. I gave the guy my info & told him I would be back today. I get there today & he's gone the rest of the week & the lady acted like she knew nothing about anything & didn't seem to want to find out either. When a person is looking @ $4,000+ to $5,000+ engines; they could care less. She acted as if she could care less about making a sale; as if they're the only place in town.

I haven't been using these guys long, but the journey to getting my work truck back on the road after a catastrophic failure has been easy while dealing with them. If they didnt have the part there, they could get it. Prices are comparable to O'Reilly and Autozone so I don't feel bad the cost. I will certainly continue going to Advance for future projects.

Both associates were awesome. Extremely helpful and knowledgeable. GM price matched and offered better warranty so we wouldn't shop elsewhere. They installed my new battery quickly and efficiently. The manager here makes this place the absolute worst place to go. She needs training or retained. Jeremy gives you broken parts and the wrong parts not once but twice and it's not her problem. Want to be left on hold? Have the door locked on you after telling you to come to the store? There's no reason to shop here, Go anywhere else. Answer to the response: No, I won't be putting myself in that position again.
