I was on a road trip passing through SC today and the rain was absolutely killing my new-used BMW. The wiper blades that were on it must have been old as they would "scrape" along the windshield. I couldn't take it anymore. I randomly chose Advance Auto as I was passing through. Allison couldn't have been friendlier or more professional. She even helped me install the new blades in the rain. I'm glad she was there--I've never put blades on a BMW before. Thanks so much!

I’ve been to many Advance Auto Parts locations, but I regret coming to this one. The staff member who helped me had a terrible attitude—he didn’t seem eager to sell, made faces when I asked for a wiper replacement, and acted like it was a hassle. On top of that, he wanted to keep the old parts and looked annoyed when I asked for them back. Very rude and unprofessional experience. I won’t be returning to this location.

Several times this summer, I have purchased a few odds and ends for replacement in my family’s cars, such as large and small windshield sunshades, and a cabin air filter. Every time, I have ordered online for pickup at this store, and the staff could not be nicer when I arrive. Most recently, John W., assisted me for speedy, kind checkout. This auto-parts chain has been a great, consistent source for various, small DIY needs in the past 20 years, and the Mauldin store only reaffirms the correct choice I’ve made for the best service. I have always chosen Advance Auto in Mauldin, South Carolina due to their customer service and the knowledge base of all their employees. I have asked many questions over the years and have always found them to be knowledgeable and helpful. In addition, the employees are genuinely nice, courteous, and seem to really care about the needs of a customer. Advance Auto may be a national chain, but the Mauldin, South Carolina store seems like a small town parts store where you have the hometown feel that is so rare these days. Keep up the good work!
