Paid $1000 to have my oil pan re-sealed only to have it leaking less than a year later waited a month for the job to be complete. Made me second-guess leaving my vehicle in their hands for a big job like that ever again.

Pretty terrible. These guys work out of a storage shed, and I'm pretty sure they aren't certified mechanics. They diagnosed our car problem completely wrong. We took it somewhere else and they fixed it, no thanks to what these guys were going to try to fix. Very unprofessional - they don't really know what they're talking about and they take things very casually. Looks like a bunch of high school dropouts got together to start a car shop.

I like bringing my car to the guys at Advanced Automotive because whenever I call them they are able to give me an honest timeline of how long it will take them to get to it and when would be the best time to bring it. Not like other car places where they say to leave it and then they don’t even get to it that day or let you know they’re too busy. I also appreciate the respect they show for customers, especially for someone who doesn’t know very much about cars. Will definitely come again next time I need something done on my car. 👍🏻

There is NOBODY I have been able trust the way I have with these guys! I have trusted them with all my car repair needs for the past 20 years, and send all my friends and coworkers there. They will pickup the car to repair it and bring it back. It is a VERY REASONABLE trip charge!!! I am completely comfortable to know I will never be taken advantage of the way most car repair stores have. It is a small hidden place, but sooo worth finding. I had a tire store tell me I had to pay over $2000.00 to fix the steering ect... I took to Advanced Auto and had them take a look at it and it costed less than $400.00 to repair the items that were totally necessary but evaluated things thoroughly and told me half the stuff I was told by my tire company had to be done, wasn't necessary. They went above and beyond. My SUV drove way nicer! They do on the spot emissions and inspections and registration renewals. They pick up my car for oil changes regularly and have really decent customer service!

I've been here multiple times and have been helped right every time. I first went to these guys because i had gotten my brakes changed at a different place and they installed them wrong. A couple miles down the road my brand new brakes were shot, these guys were the closest shop so i pulled in, they replaced the brakes, resurfaced the rotors, and charged me even less for everything than the other place charged me for just the brakes. I have returned multiple times and each time have had excellent service, i have never had to come back because of bad work or faulty installation. I would recommend them to anyone.

My mechanic was John Mckay. I came in for a quick oil change. While at it, he checked other things. Apparently my back left break light was out. I’m relieved he caught issues for me. The wait was brief during the 2pm-3pm hour. Everything cost me a fraction of what my last, basic oil change at Jiffy Lube cost. Thorough and Affordable. 👌

So the owner replied to my one star review of the horrible customer service we got after their mechanic made a mistake on our repair. We had the Tahoe catalytic converter replaced and the mechanic put the wire over the exhaust and after driving 800 miles the wire insulation melted and blew a fuse. I was 800 miles from home and this could’ve happened on Highway 84 heading west where there might not have been cell service or a towing bill would’ve been huge. You can read my review that I posted earlier about this The owner said they’re reviewing their their work, which I applaud. But what he said to my wife when she brought the issue of what happened that he said “I should’ve brought the car back to them”. I’m 800 miles from home, the check engine light is flashing and I’ve got no power. And I’m supposed to drive at 800 miles so that this mechanic can fix it. And all they did was reimbursed for the part of $40. That still left us in the hole of $460 which they could’ve easily made good on and kept a happy customer. It was horrible customer service and I would never ever recommend this shop to anyone. And he treated my wife disrespectfully. He was insulting. So while he wrote a nice little reply to my original review, that’s even a greater insult and how he treated my wife when she met with him was uncalled for. Never again!
