If you need a test only smog this is the best place in the area. In fact I'd drive for many miles to come here it's that good. Don't believe any "bad" reviews. Those are people just mad that their vehicle didn't pass. Amir knows his job and will do his best to get you through with a pass. Be honest with him and let him know your concerns or any issues you are having before he tests your vehicle. Ask for a pre-check if you aren't sure if your monitors are ready. If you have recently disconnected the battery tell him. Been going here for over a decade. Very professional and honest service!

Needed a smog so I made a couple calls and decided to go here. So glad I did, the young man who runs this place is very polite and professional, answered all my questions and concerns and took care of my smog in a very timely manner even though I had no appt. Although it's a small shop he has a nice seating area and keeps u apprised of how things are going. I rarely ever write reviews like this but he earned it, I only wish I could find more places like this.

Called in for my needed STAR smog and was told to come right in...so I did. He had 1 car he was finishing and another who drove in just before I did...so I waited a little. This was key to me: he told me he knew I called in 1st and would take mine 1st if I needed to hurry! I hadn't made an appt, just checking to see the wait time. I elected to wait as I just wanted to know if i would have to wait an hour or two. I was next in line anyway and he told me it would be finished in about 15 minutes. He was spot on. He was very professional and gave me an estimate that was correct at the end! My family has used his business many times and even when busy or obviously stressed, he has always been polite, professional and just plain kept doing his work! There are a lot of other 'Professionals' who could learn from this business. In my opinion he is a good professional in his work!

Had a problem passing smog check due to an APPROVED aftermarket CAT being installed after mine was stolen. This shop got it LEGALLY passed by contacting BAR for me, and they noted the details on my receipt. WOW!

No free retest. Didn't tell he didn't offer a free retest. Called Monday had a super nice and respectful man answer. Wednesday he wasn't there and the man there said he doesn't work there just covering. Had another customer leave because he heard no free retest. Honestly criminal type of behavior here. Guess I'm just out $61, outta principle went to another spot right down the street thats straight forward. Also they are significantly higher in price $10-20 more and every other offered free retest unlike here. I will give the owner the chance to make it right before I will contact the BBB about this business.

Not to sure of the kids name working the day I took my uncle to get a smog; but he was slammed with customers. The way he handled everyone that were coming in wanting a smog was very professional. He made sure everyone received their paperwork to fill out. So as we were waiting to be seen all of the papers were out of the way. For being busy that was really nice, because the last thing people wanted to do was fill out papers when their turn came up. The kid is a honest kid. Would recommend anyone that needs a smog to definitely hands down go straight to Affordable Smog on the corner of Baseline and Palm.

I needed the ever so necessary smog check to be able to register my vehicle. So I did my online research as usual, and the reviews on this place are phenomenal! So, I came here before they opened, and waited. I spilled my coffee all over myself just before the owner got there. When he seen what happened he was quik to offer help and gave me rags and led me to a sink where I could wash my hands and clean up. He then got my info, plugged my car on to the smog machine, and in less than 10 minutes had me out the door. All for under $70.00. I recommend this place if you need a smog check. It's conveniently located at the corner of Baseline and Palm. It's cheap, it has the ☑️ required by the state of California, and they are very professional and friendly. Go see these people, you won't regret it!
