We’ve been customers of AID for over 10 years and my in-laws even longer. They are always helpful and honest. We usually have to drop off our car at night and pick up the next day, this can be inconvenient but it’s worth it to us because we know we’re not going to be scammed. This place is incredible. They not only were polite and kind, they were VERY fair with their prices. Knowing how much repairs cost, when they gave me a quote, I was shocked at how low the price was. Most importantly, they did an excellent job in a very efficient manner. If you need a 24 - 48hr turnaround on a vehicle repair, these are the people to call. I will be using their services again!

I used this shop for roughly 7 years. I feel the service and customer relations became more poor in that time. The latest repair there was an issue they could not figure out and told me I had to take it to the dealer after a very dishonest explanation of the issue. A simple Google search showed poor power delivery as main issue. Alternator had complete failure a few days later. I do not mind they were wrong, but they dismissed me and only tried to get me out of their shop and were rude in the process. This was very disappointing which lead to leaving after 7 years of being my go to shop I would recommend.

Shady business practice. They worked to replace a radiator and thermostat with new coolant. Promising a 1 year guarantee on parts and labor for everything. Approximately 2 weeks later, the car was being driven back to Lynchburg from 3.5 hours away. Suddenly the check engine light came on and the car began to overheat, leading to a blown head gasket. The mechanic later admitted to clearing the engine codes (resetting the check engine light) after servicing without telling me and never asked for permission before to do so. My family would not have taken the trip if the check engine light was on to begin with had the codes not been reset. This turned into an awful situation and they feel they caused no wrongdoing. After more than an hour of phone conversations, they were unwilling to help resolve any problems. Think twice before going here.
