I left my car because supposably i thought that they would be able to fix it.....and 2 months later i get my car back the same...the mechanic Al didnt know what was wrong with it and took my car to the dealership where they're experienced at my car and work specifically with nissans he said he took it there "suposably to reset the computer" in my car...and they did do that...but i also found out that they had changed a few bad sensors i had in my car there at the Nissan dealership, not at the shop where i had taken the car in the first place then they ran diagnostics to see what was wrong with it and the Nissan dealership found the problem....i ended up paying $300 just to change some sensors and diagnostic..when in the first place Alvaro aka Al never called me to get my consent to see if i wanted them to run a diagnostic and change the sensor there....i thought he had just taken it there to reset the computer in my car he said he had fixed the car and all it needed was a reset of the computer...SO I ENDED UP PAYING $300 to the Nissan dealership on top of staying TWO WHOLE MONTHS without my car because Alvaro had it in his shop "working in it" !!!!! I had a lot of trouble with me depending on my own transportation just because Mr. Al had my car there for TWO months...he said the car had "electrical issues" come to figure out it was a mechanical problem...i shouldve just might of well taken it to the Nissan dealership in the first place it wouldve saved me much more time in finding someone who is truly in fixing cars and from being without the car for 2 months!!!! This place seems sloppy and unprofessional if he couldnt fix the car in the first place he shouldve been straight up honest with me and told me i wouldve seen to take it somewhere else!!!! And also majority of the time i would call the shop noone would ever answer and the voice mesaage machine would come on....its a joke...an unprofessional company...i DO NOT recomend this shop NOT EVEN TO MY WORST ENEMY!!!!! With that being said services here are really disapointing!!!

Wheel bearings went out in my 1 ton dodge. Wrecker pulled me to Als because dodge dealer told me it would be 3 weeks for them to get to it. AL got right on it. Replaced both sides on my request and had me back on the road The same day! I highly recommend AL's if your in the Midland Odessa area. They also have a body shop.

Al's Complete Auto, did an exceptional and prompt job in repairing the broken door handles on my vehicle. They were very reasonable in charges. I would definitely recommend them for any car/ vehicle repairs.

It is a rarity to find a place where the actual owner picks up the phone, has time to talk, and is supremely helpful. Al's is one such place. My wife was driving to Tucson, andpopped a transmission seal. All the shops were book up for weeks. This would normally have been an unmitigated disaster, especially because she was towing a U-Hual trailer. I was about to hop in the car and drive up from Tucson to take command of the situation, but though I'd call this place first. Al does not rebuild transmissions, but this was just a seal. He even offered to tow the truck to a different shop, free of charge, if he couldn't do the job. The owner of this shop bent over backwards to help us. "I have a family too," he said. He offered to stay late and meet her with the wrecker, then gave me his personal cell phone number to ensure everything went smoothly. When we were over the proverbial barrel, this man could have could have charged anything he wanted, and gotten it. But he didn't. I can tell why this man has been in business for 17 years, and why he'll probably be in business for another 17. Integrity is such a rare commodity today. Thank you.

Very grateful for Al and his employees. We broke down in Pecos (we're from Florida) and couldn't find a mechanic that was willing to help us. We finally were able to get our car towed to Odessa and Al's crew was able to fix it. They even stayed longer to get us back on the road today. Very competent, honest, fast, and friendly!! Thank you!!!!!

Well first of all the job he did on our classic vehicle was so bad that not even if it was the last shop in Odessa i would not recommend, took him 3 years to get the job done when he said 6 months . Always had an excuse for everything he was to do and nothing would get done he left a gap on the hood and scratches all over the vehicle, and on the trunk of the car was not even aligned up a gap on the passenger side told him about the scratches and had an excuse like always, he said he does classics well the molding were all bent and i did not take them that way they were all new. Then you go pay the remaining balance which you were told at the time of when you dropped your vehicle off and then they tell you they have to put numbers together after they had given you pricing and rude as heck. over charged and bad service don't recommend to anyone.

When to get my front brakes replaced took 9 hours . My breaks before going there made absolutely no noses just decided to change them since it had been 5 years since the last time . I was charged $305 for just the front brakes and now the makes so much noise itβs crazy . I do not recommend this place at all

Most of the time I do my own auto repair. I have trouble trusting shops. I was here from out of town with an electrical problem and asked someone locally if there were any shops they would trust, and they recommended Al's. I have to say I was very impressed. They are an honest, skillful family run business. Great people and completely transparent. I would go here again in a second.

I was driving when an employee from this shop pulled a car out directly in front of me, cutting me off in traffic. It was reckless and could have caused a serious accident. On top of that, the staff were rude. I would be very cautious around this business.

An honest mechanic. Long story short; My diesel pickup died and the lying dirtbags at Freedom GMC knew I had other options, but still sugar talked me into towing it to their shop by telling me they would diagnose it and repair/replace only what was needed. And that it would likely be under $1,500 to fix. They wouldn't answer or return my calls for a month until I finally had to just go there on my day off. They had never even diagnosed my problem but now told me it would be around $20,000 fix my truck or I should just buy a new one! They figured they had me over a barrel because I had already been a month without my pickup and spent $1,500 on car rental and a tow, and would have to pay for another tow to take it somewhere else. I went to Al and told him the story. He was super busy, but still let me tow my truck there. He said he would repair/replace only what was needed. He was able to fix my truck in just a few days for $1,100. The man could have easily taken advantage of me and I would have had no way to know the difference. But he didn't. Al and his wife are old-school Texas. From back when people still had integrity. And I think people should know it. And BTW, my pickup runs better now than it has in years.
