I bought a VW Jetta, and it needed a new motor and body repair from previous owners, I went there one day to a front flat black fender, came back a few days later and it looked and matched like it was never replaced, and seeing the motor was built every small thing I would notice it was always bring it to me, and he’d clear out a bay and fix it, Rodney stood by everything to do with that care as he promised and much more!!!!!

If you want to be lied to, ripped off, wait forever and have shoddy work done done on your vehicle, this is the place for you. My advice, keep looking for a reputable business.

Do not go here they are terrible. They use cheap parts that wear out. Come in for one thing and leave needing $1000's bunch of drunk old men that don't know what they are doing. DONT GO HERE. And they state their mechanics are certified by who!!!! that is BS They don't have certifications!!!!

Work was paid for but was not performed, (as revealed by a professional upon later inspection.) This place is a ripoff, run by a thief and a liar. NOT recommended. Now we will see a defensive lie posted in response by the unethical owner. But don't believe it.

I answered a craigslist ad for a green 1996 Saturn LS for $300. The owner with rings on his finger's told me that he had a title for the car but he couldn't find it and he would do a Billis sale to me so I come back next day with cash in hand and received a bill of sales for the 1996 Saturn Took the bill of sale to dmv ..... surprised .......😝it turned out that he is not the owner of the car so I'm screwed and I have to do a banded title which will take me nine months before I can do anything with the car cause I don't have money to put towards a bonded title i got screwed over by ower and mr. Stevens I would never do business with this gentleman again and his friend the associate called Steven DMV told me that it call fraud My advice to you stay way

Got my clutch replaced here at the recommendation of a friend. I could not be happier with the service or the repair. They had it done in a reasonable time and I did not feel like they were trying to screw me over.

These guys are shade tree mechanics! They thought they knew what they were doing but installed the wrong rear end in my Sprinter and this caused the engine to blow up.This diagnosis is directly from a Mercedes engineer. I ask Ambassador for a refund and the spineless owners will not even return my call. They should close their shop or only do minor repairs. TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THE DEALERSHIP. In the long run, you will save money

"Told me they would work on my car in 30 minutes, so I paid. They ended up taking a week to respond. When I cancelled and wanted my money back, they refused. Now I'm out of money and my car is still not fixed. Great customer service."

Rodney And His Father Do Excellent Work At Ambassador Auto Care In Tucson. I have taken multiple different vehicles into their shop and every time, Consistently, they perform meticulous auto service to all of my vehicles. Jim is also a great mechanic that works there. He works on my cars too, He really knows his stuff. All The staff there are friendly. The prices are affordable and the service is always above satisfactory. If you are looking for an HONEST mechanic in Tucson for any type of automotive repair and service, I highly recommend this place to anyone in need. I will continue to give Rodney my business because, he is: Affordable, Honest, Hard-Working, And Extremely Reliable. He Even Picked me off and dropped me off when the car was ready after Repairs... Fantastic Team of really great people.

Rodney Holland owns the shop and he’s very fair priced, he’s fair at fixing what you’re asking to fix and not adding anything to it but he does let you know what else is needing to be done to your car instead of doing it and then charging for it

While I can't speak of the auto work done here, I can speak of Rodney Holland's character. In my experience, he's a stellar guy! We recently dropped off a U-Haul to his location; just as we are about to drive off, Rodney brought us our son's wallet that was loaded with cash. No one even knew that the wallet was lost at this point, until Rodney brought it to us, we realized our son must have left it under the seat. A small miracle! Rodney is friendly, personable, informative, and above all else, HONEST! Thanks again, Rodney!!

I have used many mechanics and the bottom line is of you’re there ( at any mechanic shop) chances are it’s not a good thing.. it’s emotional and frustrating to not be able to be in control. I also feel like there’s a level of being taken advantage of. Ambassador has always made me feel like they are by the book and honest. I believe in, good things take time and fastest is not always better. I personally have become a loyal customer and feel the work is done well and honored by the shop!

I would avoid this place, especially if you are a young woman college student who has little to no knowledge of cars. I decided to take my car to Ambassador Auto Care, Llc when my car decided not to turn on. I figured it was the starter, so I called different auto shops in Tucson to find the most affordable place. It happened that Ambassador was the cheapest option for me. I regret making this decision, and I should have spent a little more money on better car service. The issue with Ambassador did not come until after he replaced the starter. I went to pick up my car, and as I drove it home, there were two instances where it would not go past 10 mph. So, it was driving fine, but then it would not accelerate. I went back to Ambassador and told Rodney what was happening. He said that was weird because someone drove it earlier that day, and it was fine. It made me wonder how long they had driven it because, after a minute of my drive, I started to experience the issue. Rodney said he was going to look at my car first thing in the morning, but I never received a phone call the next day. Fortunately, I only really needed my car during the weekend, so I wasn’t too worried. I had to call him 2 days later and get an update about my car, but he said that he was still trying to figure out the problem. He called me the next day after I called him, and he said that my pedal sensor was broken. I was really confused because he replaced my starter, and now my pedal sensor is broken. So I asked him how that happens, and he said sometimes it just happens. He also repeatedly said that he did not touch any wires or other car parts when he was replacing the starter. I wasn’t very convinced of this, so I called other mechanics to verify this- and all of them said that considering my car, there was no way that he could have replaced my starter without touching other car parts. They told me he probably didn’t mean to damage something, but sometimes it happens when you replace the starter. So, I told Rodney I wanted to see how he replaced the starter. So, later that day, I go, and he is describing how he replaced the starter. I told him that I was going to take my car somewhere else because I didn’t trust him with my car. I asked him if my car was still not accelerating past 10 mph, and he said yes. So I wanted to see if it was doing that because if it was, then I would have paid for a tow truck to take my car somewhere else. So, we’re about to take my car around the block to find out my car battery died!! He did jump-start my car. We drove it around and had no issue. I drove it 20 minutes to Costco and back home with no issue. I drove my car the next day for 30 minutes, and everything was running fine. I doubt that a sensor pedal would get fixed on its own, so I’m confused about what exactly he was charging me for since he was charging me $370 + $70 for his service for a non-existing problem. For anyone considering this place, I would suggest spending a little more for a better auto shop because, in the long run, it will save you money and time.

A pleasant surprise. Halfway through my cross country road trip, I needed service on my van. Was welcomed first thing on a Saturday and enjoyed great conversation with the owner and his father the two hours during top notch, affordable oil change/transmission fluid drain & refill. 10/10. Would come again if I didn't live in NY! Thank you!

I bought my car with 26K miles, it ran very well, seven years later the service engine light came on a local parts dealer with free diagnostics said it was the EGR valve. I took it to Ambassador Auto and the EGR valve was replaced. It still ran horribly through no fault of Ambassador Auto, they correctly said it was the coils that were bad under diagnostics. The following week Rodney had the coils and spark plugs and after some impressive mechanical knowledge by Ray the technician my car was fixed and running waaaay smoother than when I bought it !!!! These guys are excellent and I highly recommend bringing your vehicle here , thanks Ambassador Auto!!
