Rodney Holland owns the shop and he’s very fair priced, he’s fair at fixing what you’re asking to fix and not adding anything to it but he does let you know what else is needing to be done to your car instead of doing it and then charging for it

I would avoid this place, especially if you are a young woman college student who has little to no knowledge of cars. I decided to take my car to Ambassador Auto Care, Llc when my car decided not to turn on. I figured it was the starter, so I called different auto shops in Tucson to find the most affordable place. It happened that Ambassador was the cheapest option for me. I regret making this decision, and I should have spent a little more money on better car service. The issue with Ambassador did not come until after he replaced the starter. I went to pick up my car, and as I drove it home, there were two instances where it would not go past 10 mph. So, it was driving fine, but then it would not accelerate. I went back to Ambassador and told Rodney what was happening. He said that was weird because someone drove it earlier that day, and it was fine. It made me wonder how long they had driven it because, after a minute of my drive, I started to experience the issue. Rodney said he was going to look at my car first thing in the morning, but I never received a phone call the next day. Fortunately, I only really needed my car during the weekend, so I wasn’t too worried. I had to call him 2 days later and get an update about my car, but he said that he was still trying to figure out the problem. He called me the next day after I called him, and he said that my pedal sensor was broken. I was really confused because he replaced my starter, and now my pedal sensor is broken. So I asked him how that happens, and he said sometimes it just happens. He also repeatedly said that he did not touch any wires or other car parts when he was replacing the starter. I wasn’t very convinced of this, so I called other mechanics to verify this- and all of them said that considering my car, there was no way that he could have replaced my starter without touching other car parts. They told me he probably didn’t mean to damage something, but sometimes it happens when you replace the starter. So, I told Rodney I wanted to see how he replaced the starter. So, later that day, I go, and he is describing how he replaced the starter. I told him that I was going to take my car somewhere else because I didn’t trust him with my car. I asked him if my car was still not accelerating past 10 mph, and he said yes. So I wanted to see if it was doing that because if it was, then I would have paid for a tow truck to take my car somewhere else. So, we’re about to take my car around the block to find out my car battery died!! He did jump-start my car. We drove it around and had no issue. I drove it 20 minutes to Costco and back home with no issue. I drove my car the next day for 30 minutes, and everything was running fine. I doubt that a sensor pedal would get fixed on its own, so I’m confused about what exactly he was charging me for since he was charging me $370 + $70 for his service for a non-existing problem. For anyone considering this place, I would suggest spending a little more for a better auto shop because, in the long run, it will save you money and time.

I have used many mechanics and the bottom line is of you’re there ( at any mechanic shop) chances are it’s not a good thing.. it’s emotional and frustrating to not be able to be in control. I also feel like there’s a level of being taken advantage of. Ambassador has always made me feel like they are by the book and honest. I believe in, good things take time and fastest is not always better. I personally have become a loyal customer and feel the work is done well and honored by the shop!

I bought a VW Jetta, and it needed a new motor and body repair from previous owners, I went there one day to a front flat black fender, came back a few days later and it looked and matched like it was never replaced, and seeing the motor was built every small thing I would notice it was always bring it to me, and he’d clear out a bay and fix it, Rodney stood by everything to do with that care as he promised and much more!!!!!

Got my clutch replaced here at the recommendation of a friend. I could not be happier with the service or the repair. They had it done in a reasonable time and I did not feel like they were trying to screw me over.
