After I had them paint the car a second time (because the paint on the hood and the trunk did not cover properly), whoever did the masking did a terrible job...overspray everywhere... in the wheel wells, on the exhaust pipe, the muffler, parts of the plastic weather seal and other places. I don't recommend this place at all for painting. I do have to say though they did a good job with the body work on the dents. In spite of my deep dissatisfaction with the job, I did not want to leave a negative review because Junior (the shop manager) was nice and accommodating. But every time I see the overspray on my car, I get newly disappointed and if I don't leave an honest review, I think I will never get over it.

My vehicle somehow got some kind of chemical on the driver's side door, which ate through the clear coat down into the paint. American Auto Painting did an amazing job with correcting the issue. My car now looks great, again.

The best auto shop I've been at! This was my first time having them work on my car and I explained to junior that I was nervous taking my car into shops now because of previous events. He assured me he would take good care of my car and that's exactly what he did. I took my car in Wednesday afternoon and he was able to get this done by Friday morning. He repainted my bumper from someone hitting it and you couldn't even tell anything happened to it and to top it off he washed my car! I'm very satisfied with this shop and will be coming here only!!

I had my truck to Junior about six months ago and they did a great job on it, then my wife got sideswiped on I-405 and ripped off her front bumper cover on our Volvo, of course the part cost almost a grand. Junior located the part, and did a nice job on the install. They also fixed a nasty ding, dent on the rear passenger door at a very reasonable price, you can't even tell it was ever there. They are a very good old school body shop and they are very easy to deal with. I wouldn't ever got to my insurance companies "preferred providers" what a crock, don't waste your time with any other shop, just come here. Thanks Junior!

I took my car in for a full paintjob and extensive bodywork from it being damaged few years back with it only having 61,000 original miles. I wanted it to look like the day it was new! Mickey and Jr were great to work with up front about the cost and time it would take to get the car done. Fantastic experience. Very flexible in scheduling my job. Result was AWESOME. Turned a 1996 Toyota Avalon that was in fairly decent shape into a car that looked brand new. Junior was great to work with. He was very knowledgeable and willing to work with me on the details. He even saved the old emblems for me! I don't know why there are any other paint shops around ... these guys are the best!

If I could give this place more than 5 stars I would. Junior and American Auto went above the call of duty to fix our Pick up. He helped us with the insurance getting estimates and making sure that they gave us good quality replacement parts instead of cheap beat up parts. They are also very efficient I was amazed at how quickly they were able to get the repairs done and get our vehicle back to us. The truck looks amazing!!!! I honestly can not say enough great things about this place. Thank you Junior and American Auto for helping us get our pickup back to beautiful..... You guys are awesome!

This place is wonderful! Junior was so helpful and supported me during a stressful time when I needed to get my car repaired after an accident. The repairs turned out beautifully and they even washed my car! Their quote was ~2k lower than corporate locations I was getting quotes from. I will absolutely go back if support is needed in the future! I cannot recommend this place more.

I had them paint part of my vehicle earlier this year after it was hit and replaced both doors on the passenger side, which were the same color code as my oem paint. I will need to have it done right by another shop because they didn't offer to make it right. The painters they have now aren't good at their job, obviously. The doors don't match the fender or quarter panel because they didn't bother to do spray outs to verify the color sprayed would match the vehicles current paint which is reckless. Also, it has really bad orange peel that I had to spend hours wet sanding and buffing to get it out. They over sprayed my frame under neath as well. Brought it by to have them look at it, and they told me it matched fine. I beg to differ. $2400 that could have been spent at another shop to have it actually match correctly. Dont go here. It's pretty sad that a business that's been around for so long is letting vehicles leave the shop like this. Very disappointing.

Junior and his crew sprayed the engine compartment and inside hood for a 1980 BMW 635csi we were restoring. The quality was excellent and they did a really nice job. We did a lot of the touch up work, not seen in the photos, and we told them we would do all the little bits. They masked off everything really well. Very friendly staff and really good prices as well. We recommend American Auto Painting to a lot of our customers. and hear the same things from them as well.
