Amigos is a nice, non-stressful and friendly place to get a car . They work with you and don't try to get you for your money . They're very helpful in trying to get something within your budget . Absolutely the worst experience ever. The motor sat in the shop for over a month and having to go back and check every week on the progress was completely unacceptable. Each week was another excuse as to why he could not complete the job. After the last time, he has the audacity to say that he can’t work under this pressure. A month my motor sits on the floor and he wants to talk about pressure?!! Save your sanity and do not take your vehicle to this place for service. Jose is extremely rude, works on his on schedule and has not concept of what customer service is. Taking advantage of people’s time and money is his specialty, not working on vehicles.

The worst car experience ever in my life. Jose is a horrible mechanic. He gave me back a damaged car. He takes no responsibility for his mistakes, and tries to hide them. He’s rude, sloppy, and he argued with my boyfriend when we realized his errors. I would give zero stars if I could!!!! People, gente..... Beware of this shop, especially Jose!!!!!!

If I could leave negative stars for Amigos, I absolutely would. As a former Carvana employee, I had to deal with the fallout of Jose’s shoddy work more times than I can count. This shop is a complete joke, and the fact that they’re allowed to operate as a state inspection vendor is a slap in the face to every customer who trusted them. Carvana used Amigos as one of their state inspection vendors, and it was a disaster. Vehicles that were supposedly “inspected” and cleared by Jose and his team routinely came back with major mechanical issues—leaking oil, engine problems, and other serious concerns that should have never been overlooked. Instead of catching these issues, they let unsafe cars pass inspection, creating a nightmare for customers and headaches for everyone involved. I’ve even heard talk about them accepting payment in beer, which might explain the utter lack of professionalism and attention to detail. Whether it’s hearsay or not, it fits with the sloppy, untrustworthy reputation they’ve earned. Amigos is dangerous, plain and simple. Jose and his team’s incompetence and dishonesty are a hazard to everyone on the road. The Department of Transportation needs to shut them down immediately before their carelessness leads to a serious accident. If you value your safety or your vehicle, avoid Amigos at all costs.
