Replaced my a/c valves and added refrigerant all in less than 30 minutes. Highly recommended. Found it by simply searching online. I think it was a great find. The only off putting thing is the owner did not want to provide a receipt for the services given. I repeatedly asked and he said $40 was too small an amount to provide a receipt and that I would be better w/o not having to pay to on it. Kinda sketchy but service was still great.

The energy has shifted at this business and it saddens me. Pop would never run it that way. Over the past years I have been bringing all my cars here. The last two times JR energy was unpleasant and different. The most recent being today. Totally ignored. Ive also sent plenty of customers there that's money I send to the shop. Not sure what's going on but I sure miss pop.

Reasonable priced and fast service‼️ My husband and I have been dealing with JR for over 10 years. Never had he ever been wrong. If you want to go somewhere where u won’t spend an arm and a leg, go to Arturos Garage!! Also he breaks everything down to where we women understand as well lol

Arturo's Garage is a lifesaver. They correctly diagnosed a car battery problem that several other places and battery testers had missed. This issue left me stranded at the supermarket on a Sunday so I called the garage last minute and they were able to take the car that same day and diagnose the issue overnight. My battery was replaced at a VERY affordable price and I was able to pick my car up the next day. I will be returning due to the fast, high quality service and honest pricing. Thank you Jr!

I dropped my vehicle off. I called about it about a week later. I was told they checked it but couldn't find anything and that it was parked in the garage and was forgotten about. Long story short, Jr had another mechanic check it that day and I received a message the next morning stating it was ready. Great work on the car..... Once they worked on it. Hence, the 4 star and not 5

Best inexpensive mechanic in Houston. Usually figures out my problem and has me up & running same day. Been going since my mom told me about him. She found out through word of mouth. Many people have passed this place along to others and it's has been a blessing to them, as it has been for me. They work 7 days a week which is another blessing and they're honest and stand behind their work. I highly recommend them to everyone.

I went there about 2 weeks ago or 3 and were very helpful. They were a bit busy but still managed to help me and they had my car ready before they closed. The price was even better. Please keep in mind that prices depend on what’s wrong with your car and the labor. I highly recommend them for an honest opinion. Also the owner and workers were nice and helpful.

It saddens me deeply to have to write this review being that I initially though this guy was a pretty fair individual. I was referred to him by an employee at Bap Geon where I get the parts for my car. A few times minor work was done to the vehicle and because I thought he was doing the right thing I prepared turkey legs for lunch for them. I even took a case of grapes to share. I needed the hose from my power steering container replaced. Another friend who said this was very simple he would do it. The very moment he opened my hood he noticed there was a bolt missing from where the coils go. Arturo was the only mechanic that had done the work and replaced the coils. I went back to him. Here I'm thinking everything was going well until he had a mechanic work on my vehicle and I barely made it home because there was white smoke coming from the tail pipe. All I needed was a tune up. Arturo said the car ran good and asked me to go purchase spark plugs and a valve cover gasket. The car was not drive able. I called him and he said he would come to see about it. Week after week he would not respond to my calls or text messages. As of today I months later I have not heard from him. This garage is like a junk yard. Hundreds of broken down vehicles sitting around and the lot is a muddy mess. Another thing I noticed that he never wrote receipts for what he does. I'm certain he's not reporting correct information to the IRS. Going forward I will be suing him. He's ruining the reputation his father had established. Wyatt you must understand is that anybody can write a review... But are they truthful. Trust me stay I have stated is the absolute truth. I sat in that office and watched that dude collect money from people without writing a receipt. I treat a review written by another person who who started his concern that this dude didn't give him a receipt. Also I watched a guy sit there for hours on more than one day he said waiting for this dude, Arturo, to repair the window in his SUV which he, Arturo knocked completely out of his vehicle. It's a junk yard and clearly this guy is not performing at the level of his deceased father.

I have to warn people about this place and the mechanic Ronaldo. He takes zero accountability! He was replacing a part in my car and he did not do it properly. He messed up the fuse box and is claiming he didn’t. There was no issue with it prior to him touching my car. Even got another mechanics opinion and he agreed he had to have done something wrong to cause it. Now he’s refusing to fix it and I have to pay more money to get the part as well. Should have learned my lesson the first time there was another problem with the car right AFTER he “fixed” it. Scam

I thought I received great service until now. I have a seal leak come to find out when the mechanic took my engine out I’m missing an 02 sensor wire, engine is not the same as my prior it’s a different model and they put the engine in without any gaskets.
