Mike and the team here are amazing. I’ve taken my car here 3 times and each time they’ve been honest, clear, helpful and did a complete and great job. I had a light come on recently and called and Mike said swing by to see if there’s an immediate issue or if it could wait and I was so appreciative of the quick same day help. Makes me feel like I’ve got a great partner to take care of my car! The team is thorough, highly skilled and communicative . I would highly recommend coming here.

If I could give more than 5 stars I would. Mike has helped me out each time I’ve gone and has a lifelong customer. These days it’s so hard to find a trustworthy mechanic but him and his team are some of the best. I can drive away with confidence knowing that my car will take me to my next destination safely. The cost is more than reasonable and they give a great breakdown of what they saw in their receipt. If you’re looking for a mechanic that won’t rip you off, can quickly diagnose your cars problem, and provides exceptional customer service auto diagnostic & repair is where you want to go!!!

Came into town from a couple states over to visit, and because of the terrain I would end up exploring, figured I needed my rear brake pads serviced. Mike told me my 4mm brake pads would be sufficient but understood my apprehension to want to get them changed. I liked that his expertise and opinion might conflict with his. But I wanted to get them changed now instead of later. I thought my pads were not adequate enough for my peace of mind for where I was going. I didn’t want to be caught off guard with my rear pads rapidly deteriorating from constant down-hill braking. I decided I should try my options in Walnut Creek, I called a shop before this one, they were not available because they were closed for the weekend. But then I looked into Auto Repair and Diagnostic as my second option, reviews looked very telling. Lucky me, they were open the day I needed them. Mike happily invited me in for my Brake pad servicing. Squeezed me in and had me on my way within 2 hours! I showed up out of the blue and he took superb care of me. Did not take advantage of me in this situation and truly I felt very grateful and appreciative of him and his technician. There are few people in this world who will bend over backwards to help a stranger, Mike and his team of masterful technicians are an example of those who do the most for those who need help. I would push those on the fence about where to go to give this amazing auto shop a try. For a fair price and quick, honest service. I can count on Auto Diagnostics and Repair to me my one stop shop for vehicle maintenance and repair when I’m next in Walnut Creek. Thanks Mike! I dashed into Auto Diagnostics Repair and Services in a big hurry on a Sunday because my Honda suddenly could not turn smoothly. Driving on the freeway, I was a hot potato in the hot water. Mike helped me right away even though already had a line of cars waiting.He checked everything and told me that the power steering pump is toast. We talked it over, and—bam!—They replace one but they are unhappy about it so they replaced another one. Wow in just two hours they swapped it out. Thank God for leading me there, and a huge thank you to Mike and his mechanics for their fast and professional work. My car is behavior now

I loved their service! They were very professional and extremely friendly. My car had a transmission problem, and I had taken it to two different auto repair shops, both quoted me very high prices. A friend referred me here, and I was able to get my car fixed for almost half the price compared to the other places. The environment was also great clean, welcoming, and professional. The owner was very knowledgeable and respectful. Keep up the great work, guys! Highly recommend!

I usually don't write a review unless it is something exceptional. My lexus had a front sensor issue with an error, I took it to 2 other places, and they just solved the error for a few hours and got the same error again. These guys are professionals and know what they are doing. They fixed actually two issues at once. I am glad I went there. Highly recommended!

Very HONEST and trustworthy shop! I brought my Acura TLX here to fix a loose splash guard and they were able to fix it the same day! They even inspected my car and they had caught a transmission leak, that my local dealer didn’t tell me about during routine maintenance! Now I will bring it back to my dealer and get it fixed through the warranty!! These guys were very friendly and accommodating!! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Auto Diag is hands down the best mechanic auto shop I've ever been a customer of. Fahim, Azizi, Mohammed and Brandon are some of the most professional, courteous, and friendly guys out there. I've taken in three of my cars for service here, two of which had major oil leaks, and the guys here have been nothing short of incredible in their quality of work, attention to detail, explanations of the diagnosis, how they will fix the issue, and how to extend the longevity of the vehicle given the situation. They have been extremely fair about the pricing and have even found ways to help save me money given the rather labor intensive work they've needed to do for my cars. They are extremely honest and trustworthy, and will do everything in their power to get your car back on the road with the issues fully resolved in as reasonably short time as possible. You can rest assured that they will make the fix the right way, no matter the hours necessary to do it. I've had the front and top of two engines taken out for repairs, rear differential and transfer case gaskets replaced, and routine maintenance work done there, and for every repair, I have not had to go back to re-fix the same issue. On a personal note, I have never felt more like a VIP with any store than I have here. These guys are on a first-name basis with me, and I consider it a social visit every time I take my car in. These guys are my go to mechanics as long as they are in business here!
