This review is in response to the incorrect ones left for our company, as well as Vivid Racing (We are not speaking for Vivid Racing in this review, but merely including them as an innocent party who was wrongfully treated in this matter, after offering a deal as a distributor for our products) . Dean Drougas who is the manager of Auto's R Us has acted in a very unethical way and I feel customers and vendors that deal with this company, while under his supervision should be very careful about. Due to his negligence, Auto's R Us' client received a hood that had damage. That is not uncommon when shipping fragile items, but due to the lack of inspection that he was informed to perform due to the nature of the product, the client had to later find issues that were fully covered by the insurance that we have on the shipment at the time of delivery, but not after. The damage could have occurred within the time the client was on their way to get the part, since the documents showed that everything was in good condition when received. That leads us to believe that either someone made a mistake at Auto's R Us and did not care to check for the client's expensive products, or it was damaged within their possession and they now want to pass the blame onto others. So now that damage has been found by the client and they want a resolution, Dean has made threats to both companies and his last threat was for a charge-back with the card company, since he did not take care of things properly and the company will not take responsibility for their mistakes. He has now began his attempt at defamation which has been noted by us on any platforms that we can find or are notified of. Aside from customers being wary of this business, current and future vendors should be especially wary when a business acts in such a manner and instead of owning up to an issue, they'll use their card company as leverage, even when the issue is unfair.

The front end of my car was demolished by a hit and run driver in May. Not sure what to make of the rating system on google. But I can tell you that being from the area where Autos R Us is located in Mckinley park, they serviced my 2013 Impala. I was involved in accident when a car u turned right into my car which was parked. causing significant damage while my family was in the car. I was extremely at an unease as to what to do. Before i went to Jim and Dean i was being threatened to visit the drivers at fault insurance companies rogue body shops in Chicago which were quite sketchy, until I took the time to rethink my process went to Autos R us and Jim and dean went through the whole car to make sure the car was going to be corrected prior to the collision. I absolutely admire their professionalism they took in handling a customer they had never met before. They put me into a rental the same afternoon. My car took 2.5 weeks because of the work, parts ordered, adjusters had to come out for assessment and stuff. But i didn't care about timeframe as long as they made it right. Which they did. After 5 years post-collision the paint is still intact after the work which they guarantee. Completely satisfied. To whoever is writing bad reviews about Autos R us, i would question them based on my first hand experience, they worked on my car was not a easy job which included frame damage, dealt with Jim and Dean and their employees, never had a bad experience with them. All of their prior reviews on YELP, angieslist, and google are all spotless. Do yourself a favor if your are one that was involved in a collision that now has to deal with insurance, take the time to drive to Autos R us on archer and western on the southwest side of Chicago and your mind will be at ease.

Recently, the front end of my 9 month old Lincoln Nautilus was damaged by rocks thrown from a dump truck on the Stevenson Expressway. I have used Auto's R Us in the past and have always been extremely happy with their work. Once again, Jim didn't disappoint. They fixed the damage and my car looks brand new once again! We were really happy with the quality of the work that was done. The work was completed on time too! I would not hesitate to recommend Auto's R Us for all of your body work. They are awesome!

I don't have after pictures yet because there's alot of snow outside. But here are pictures from my accident. It wasn't horrible but somehow it wouldnt turn on. The shop left the car as good as new! They even cleaned the inside, which we were not expecting at all. The entire car looks and feels brand new. They did a phenomenal job and in shorter time than other places (we called other places and they were booked over a month in advanced). We only have one car so we needed this asap. I have to admit, the shop from outside doesn't look like much but their works is great. Would highly recommend this place.
