My family (including extended family, cousins, aunts and uncles) and I have taken our cars to Sui for more than 15 years. Anytime there is any problem, Sui is who we call. He has serviced and fixed 3 of my cars, a Toyota Corolla, Mercedes ML320, and Mercedes R500. You wont regret it!

Funky little location but the place has been servicing automobiles for a long, long time there and has stood the test of time. I'm no expert but the work has always been good and reliable. Great mechanic, always helpful and follows through. He did not like my last bucket, and every time I brought it in he'd say "get rid of it"... this was kind of annoying but in the long run I learned to listen to him. I don't bother him with oil changes for he charged me more than $100 various times. Take him a problem, not a little thing to be touched up. You won't regret it.

I came here because it's near my address and it had all 5 star reviews, and I couldn't be anymore wrong. My car has an issue with electrical causing it to not start if parked for long, and I can't figure out why since it has a new battery. So I went there to get a diagnostic, and Mr Sieu told me to leave it there and he would charge me $60 for the diagnostic (1 hour charge). So later that day he ran the diagnostics and told me he couldn't find anything wrong, and after asking me about my driving routine with the car he suggested he'd keep the car for a few days over the weekend, to see if he would get different readings after leaving it parked not running for some days, and he specifically told me that he would only charge me 1 hour work, which I thought was great and helpful, so I went for it and left him the car. After 4 days he calls me and tells me that he didn't find anything still, so I could pick it up, and when I showed up he told me my bill was $120, which is equal for 2 hour of diagnostics. So I mentioned to him that he told me he would only charge me for 1 hour over the phone days before, so he started mumbling new numbers telling me that his usual rate is now $120 an hour, but he would honor the word he gave and instead he charged me $108, which is far away from the $60 he said on day 1. So not only I still don't know what my car has since he came up with nothing, but I was charged an additional $48 for who knows what reason, but I paid it since I only had his word and now he switched on me. I was looking for a reliable and honest mechanic, and instead got played and lost more then agreed, so I will stay as far away as possible from that shop and will look for another mechanic in the future. This is exactly why it's always hard to trust mechanics and why sometimes is good to read a bad review in detail, so that it doesn't happen to others.

Under the new ownership this place has made a complete turn around and not for the better. I would not recommend going here after the nightmare we've been dealing with. Never trust them with your car. We've had to rent and are now in the process of buying a new car due to their negligence.

More like Auto Ruiner...... they've had my mom's car for OVER A MONTH and then LIE about the reason they've had it for so long!!! If you don't understand mechanics, they will screw you. This place was great before they took on new ownership but AVOID AT ALL COSTS

DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE! This happened to me last year and I realized I never left a review to warn others. Auto Saver fell under new ownership last year. He retired abruptly and these new owners took over. I don’t know if they’re inexperienced or grifters or both, but do not trust them with your car. I brought my car in, and they held it for a day. They came back with what seemed like a simple diagnosis and quoted me $600 on the high end of what Sui would charge, but I agreed. I had seen one bad review about these new owners on yelp but I thought Sui wouldn’t sell to dishonest people. Two days after getting my car back, the same problem returned, but worse. I took it back, and they held it for over two weeks. When I finally got a call, they gave me a new diagnosis, quoted me another $600, and casually mentioned they “knew someone who might want to buy my car if I decided not to fix it.” That felt sketchy immediately. My gut told me these weren’t capable people and decided to get a second opinion elsewhere. Mind you, my car was drivable when I dropped it off there. When I arrived to pick it up, they tell me my car “isn’t drivable” and would need a tow, something they failed to mentioned on the phone. When I’m asking questions about the car and what they’ve been doing with it, all I’m getting is “I don’t know.” Turns out the battery was completely drained. I had to figure that out myself, in the pouring rain, with help from my ride. This was a brand new battery that I then had to replace out of pocket. It was like I’d left the car sitting for two years, not at a mechanic for two weeks. I can’t say for sure, but it definitely felt like they were trying to make the car seem worse off and create enough of an inconvenience that I’d just pay for the repair or sell it to their buyer. I’m a young woman and it’s not uncommon for these people think they can pull one over on me. To top it off, when I got home and opened the hood, there were two empty Coke cans sitting inside. How sloppy and unprofessional can you be? I took it to another shop, told the owner the diagnosis Auto Saver gave me, and he immediately said it “made no sense.” Within two hours, he diagnosed and fixed the problem and charged me half of what Auto Saver did. Moral of the story: Don’t trust these people with your car. And if you want a mechanic like Sui go to Bancroft Complete Auto Repair instead.
