I have been a customer of Autologic since 2006 and I have had ABSOLUTELY nothing but the best service a customer can ask for. Vincent is AWESOME!!! He takes the time to explain to you exactly whats going on with your car even if it mean showing you pictures or diagrams to make sure you understand. The quality of work is GREAT!!! I have had a few issues with my Volkswagen and Audi that of course I caused by not keeping up the proper maintenance but Vincent has restored both of my cars to just like BRAND NEW!!! Their prices are great, service time is excellent and what makes it even better he truly cares about the well-being and safety of his customers. I could not ask for a better mechanic!!!!

I have been a customer of Autologic for over a decade - here's the thing -they do great work and then stand behind it. For major repairs they will always tell me what is urgent and what can wait. Vince & Kayla are as honest as the day is long. They show me the parts they replaced - they talk me through stuff. What do I need most besides good work? Truthfulness. "A good name is to be chosen rather than great riches, and favor is better than silver or gold." They have a "good name" with me!

tl;dr - very happy with every aspect of service experience, work performed, and price. Longer below. Needed some maintenance work done (differential fluid change - Subaru Outback AWD) and my usual shop was tied up and that left me looking for someone else. Was familiar with Autologic from having driven past but not as a customer. I called and talked to one person about what service was needed and some related concerns. They sent me via SMS a link to the estimate on web site, I reviewed the estimate and approved it online. I called to schedule the service and set a date to drop off. The next day (actual service date) I got another SMS with link to the work done (already approved) and estimates on the other work that I expected (prior concerns) plus one more that I was aware of but not asked them to check. I was happy that they found both the issues I needed checked and one I was aware of but had not asked them to check. From the online page I was able to decline the additional work (budget not doubting need) and submitted the response. A few minutes later got one more SMS with my invoice and notice I could pick up my car. Called and paid and they setup a dropbox that I could recover my key and pick up the car after hours. I was very pleased with the process since they run a lean operation and therefore need the asymmetrical communication for parts of the transaction. I also had good experiences on the phone for the exchange of details that needed more back and forth. Shop performance was excellent as mentioned in dealing both with known concerns and finding one that is needed and I plan on doing it myself. Pricing was inline with expectations for non-dealer/independent shop and the quality of work was top shelf.

Autologic has been taking care of my cars for many, many years. I like to wear a car out before I get rid of it, therefore, Vince and Kayla have been keeping my old cars running for many years. They are extremely knowledgeable about virtually every type of vehicle and they are honest business people. When they run into something that was not as serious as they first thought, they let me know and then only charge me for what was needed, when they could have taken me for a proverbial ride! You will be please with the work that is done to any car that you bring to them, from your old comfortable junker to your sporty European car.

My son and I traveled up from Columbia, SC so catch his favorite band. When we got off of the interstate I noticed a noise coming from under my car (Lexus SUV 2018) I knew I had to make the 3 hour drive back to columbia that night alone with my son. I googled the closest auto mechanic near me and Autologic was right around the corner! I had no idea what to expect and didn't have a lot of time before the show either. The staff was very friendly, funny and very welcoming. They worked us in, gave me information on what to do locally and had the car fixed in time for us to make the show. They were honest and caring. I felt so blessed that we found them. I wanted to write a review so anyone reading this would know this place is quick, trustworthy and very professional. The are the gold standard for auto

Brought them a $3000+ job, but because the only thing that matters is money, they refuse to accept ANY diagnostics that they don't do themselves (after charging you $120, of course). They turn away literal ECU readouts, and refuse to acknowledge anything until they get paid up front. Edit: I have spoken to almost a dozen shops today for quotes, and this is the ONLY one that has resulted in any kind of issue. I understood your process fine, I just asked why you refuse to give any kind of generalized quote whatsoever unless you get paid to confirm diagnostics I already have. I was constantly interrupted and not allowed to finish what I was saying, then told to "calm down" when I did not let myself be spoken over. I wasn't combative or abusive, I simply did not let you keep speaking over me. Edit 2: I was getting quotes. That's a common thing to do with big jobs. Were you aware that the vast, vast majority of shops have zero problem giving one and taking into account previous diagnostics? The diagnostics I had was from the dealership, but their quote is too high. The diagnostics I had are ECU codes and actual reports, not just a random opinion. Your responses to every other negative review on here shows exactly what level of professionalism you're working with. You seem to see customers as clueless and ignorant, and probably only refuse to quote without a paid diagnostic so people sink in money, making it harder to walk away even if the quote is high.

I took my Corvette to Autologic because the engine was dangerously cutting off while driving. Kayla the owner/service manager was very helpful, knowledgeable and a pleasure to do business with. Her service tech did an excellent job repairing my car and making it safe to drive again. I highly recommend Autologic to anyone looking for quality auto service that’s done right the first time and without paying high dealer service prices.

NOPE. Repaired a 2007 GL320 Mercedes, 08/23/2024 at 167,360 miles. The wrong coolant was installed. Euro G-48 coolant is blue, and is the correct coolant. Green coolant for a BMW was installed (HT-12), it was caught in time, by another shop . This can ruin a motor quick, due to the aluminum in the engine being eaten away. Also, they are terrible about calling the customer back. Poor customer service. Look elsewhere.

I called this place and ask them to check and see how bad my rear main seal was and they quickly told me it would be about 5,000$ for gaskets that have been already replaced and told me they can’t not do what I was paying them to do would not recommend this place at all go to a different shop this shop horrible negative 5 stars

The air conditioning went out in our 2015 Grand Cherokee. We took it to Autologic for repair. They were able to get us in on short notice. We were going to the beach and wanted to get it fixed before we left. They had the car for about 4-5 days. They were able to find and fix the issue we were having. A/C blowing cold and consistent just like the first day we had it. Would definitely recommend them for your vehicle service needs.

I usually do everything I can on my own vehicle mostly because I generally distrust mechanics (dealerships being the most vile of them all). However, I don't have the tools/material to fix an AC leak and so, had to find a mechanic. These guys really went over and above. They kept me in the loop every step of the way even sending me pictures of the work in action. They charged me less than I would expect for the work completed, and even fixed a few problems unrelated to the AC leak without charge (of course, don't expect this - these problems were relatively minor). While they probably won't change my opinion of all other mechanics (and certainly not of dealerships), I know I can trust these folks. They will get all of my automotive business, and I may even get them to work on some things that I could do, but have been too busy (lazy?) to actually complete. Also, they are careful when it comes to masks, social distancing, disinfecting keys, etc. Thanks Autologic!

I originally posted a review because my experience with Autologic was frustrating: appointment mix-ups, lack of updates, and over 24 hours with no work done. That review went up before I spoke to the owner. After our initial conversation, I agreed to bring my car back on 9/22. I dropped it off just before opening and received a text at 11:25 AM that the tech was submitting his report. The level of detail was impressive—photos included, and even potential future issues were noted. My original diagnostic was completed as requested, and I was presented with two options for repairs. While I had to decline further work due to budget, the transparency and professionalism were a huge improvement. Bottom line: rough start, but Autologic followed through, and my confidence in them has improved.
