The guys at Automotive Excellence are great. They've worked on my car multiple times, and they've been great. The staff is very friendly and straight forward when diagnosing your car problems. The prices make sense, and they won't try and hit you with any nonsense. It's clear they care about relationships with their clients, and I know I'll be back again if I run into any other problems. Keep up the great work!

I've been taking my car to Automotive Excellence for routine oil changes for years. One of my tires recently had a slow leak issue and another shop in town couldn't find the leak to patch it! Richard at AE was able to identify the issue (the valve had debris stuck in it and wasn't sealing properly). He also didn't charge me a penny, instead he let me know that there was a coupon out for tire repairs and sent me on my way! I am really pleased with their customer service and do recommend them :)

Excellence is exactly what they provide! Joseph, Hamilton, and Johnny, were the epitome of professionalism. I was in Charleston from out of town traveling and had an issue arise on my car. I called them, explained my situation and my desire to get back on the road. They fit me in their schedule on the same day. They gave me a completely honest evaluation of what was wrong with the car. When I suggested we change all the ignition coils, Joseph’s response was that there was no need to spend the extra money fixing more the what was actually the problem! Imagine that!!! I may bring my car all the way from Central Florida to have it serviced here all the time!!! Thank you all for a wonderful experience of real customer service and satisfaction!!!

My experience with this company has not been a good one. While the folks were friendly they did not take care of the issue I took my vehicle there for and gave it back to me $3500 later without addressing the issue with the oil leak. I feel I’ve been taken for a bit of a ride and messed around. I own a company too and try to always insure my customers are satisfied and they know I’m not and seem to be ok with that. Not a very professional outfit in my experience and surprised to see they have such positive reviews. When I start the car there is oil coming out of the exhaust and this is the reason I took the vehicle there to begin with. They got me to spend money on several other areas but didn’t fix the main issue.

Wonderful group. Thank you all so much for helping my out of town friends on Monday. Coming into Charleston they hit something on the bridge damaging the shield underneath the vehicle. Was making an awful noise when they pulled into your shop without an appointment I will add. You immediately took action & fixed the issue. And …. A place that lives up to its name. Had a slow leak in my tire for months. Took it there for the first time for a repair. We were visiting the area and my car was suddenly acting strange. They managed to squeeze me in on a Friday afternoon and get back with me pretty quickly on an answer. It turned out to be a tire issue which they couldn't fix for me (got fixed elsewhere, also the same day), but they were so kind to squeeze me in and do that diagnostic. I was super appreciative of them making it so our vacation wasn't completely derailed.

I had car trouble while vacationing on Sullivan's Island, S.C. Of course, the trouble began the night before our departure and I figured there was little chance I could get the car examined and repaired on short notice. I asked our dinner waiter if she had a recommendation, and Automotive Excellence in Mount Pleasant was it! I phoned and caught Joseph just before closing. He was very friendly, patient and sympathetic to my plight and said to bring in the car first thing the next morning and he'd do his best to work it in. True to his word, he got to it the next day was able to keep us safe, functioning and on schedule. THANK YOU, JOSEPH AND AUTOMOTIVE EXCELLENCE MECHANICS!!!
