My Mini was displaying a check engine light and I didn’t want to take her to just anyone and I never had to take her to a mechanic before. A friend of mine, who I trust very much, takes his BMW to Automotive PhD so I agreed I would give them a try. I have nothing but good things to say. They explained everything they would do/ check from start to finish. I left my car there and turns out they needed to order a specific part to replace. They kept me updated every day until the part came, and when i picked her up, took even more time to explain additional things to me about my car that will help be useful to me for the future. I didn’t feel like a burden with my questions, and I felt as though they truly appreciated my business and on top of that their prices are EXTREMELY fair. They will be who I bring my Mini too from now on. I highly recommend checking them out , especially if you have a foreign made car.

Vadim did an excellent job on my oil change and leak that my car had. Upon finding I had a leak during my routine oil change, he was able to order the parts and get me back in within 2 days to fix my car. To top it all off, he gave me a ride home and picked me up because my house was close to the shop. Talk about service! I’m happy I have found my new mechanic in Myrtle Beach.

I can't recommend this place enough. Very knowledgeable and extremely professional. They provided pictures of the process and even videos. This is more than I ever expected. Besides doing top notch work they literally saved me over $3000 while doing additional work compared to another shop. They don't charge extra for replacing parts that are in the way of doing other work if that makes sense. I have found my new mechanic I'll be bringing everything here now. Vadim is a great guy and they even work on Saturdays. You don't find many people that do business like this. They are building relationships rather than trying to maximize profit on a one and done customer. I also recommended a friend of a friend take his Porsche there for brakes. He said the great work and great price.

Vadim is the best mechanic I’ve had the pleasure to do business with in a long time. When I bought my car to him to fix, the engine was not even in it. He took on the challenge of not only fixing the car, but also finishing someone else’s sloppy work. He replaced everything that needed fixing, added some high performance parts, and even sent the car to the paint shop for repairs. I would recommend him and his shop to anyone without a question. THESE GUYS ARE GREAT! THEY DIAGNOSED AND FIXED A PROBLEM ON MY 2003 S55 AMG AFTER I TOOK IT TO 2 OTHER SHOPS AND WAS TOLD THAT THEY COULDNT FIX IT. I highly recommend Vladim and his team at Automotive PhD . I own a 2007 Maserati Quattroporte. I was told by more than one automotive shop that I had to take my car to a Maserati dealership. The closest two are in Raleigh and Charleston. Then someone recommended Vladim. I took my car there and it was fixed for under $250. I was told there was no aftermarket radio that I could install. Vladimir informed me that was not the case. Automotive PhD is now my go-to establishment for automotive repairs.

Updating this review to reflect workmanship. This is hands down the shop you need to take your car to. I have had a terrible issue with my vehicle for the year I have owned it that many other shops were unable to figure out. Vadim was able to solve this issue and many others with my classic Audi that other shops had no idea how to solve and threw solutions at it that did not work. They fixed this in such a short timeline too. I will bring every vehicle I own to this shop as long as they are in the area, and highly recommend them.

Really lucky to have found this repair shop recommended from a salesman at a foreign car dealership. Extremely knowledgeable, professional and friendly with great pricing, only know them a few weeks but they already worked on three of my cars and helped me out in a pinch during the holidays !! My experience was excellent. Vadim was honest and told me upfront that my vehicle was in need of serious repairs. My check engine light was on along with my EPC light. My 2016 VW Passat was in limp mode with a burnt valve. He gave me two options. While the repairs were being completed he sent videos and photos to keep me updated. My Passat runs perfect no issues. He has a new customer for life!!!
