The worst auto company in Florida. I went there and asked for a warranty check on my car and it did not do it claimed that my car checked out fine was supposed to be charging me, but didn’t charge me because they didn’t do the work that they claimed it was the car check out fine on the warranty

I brought my Jaguar diesel to Autonation Lincoln of Clearwater for a scheduled service appointment on Friday, May 16th at 9 AM. I didn’t hear anything until I messaged my service rep, Jacob Palmerton, Monday afternoon. Only then did I learn that the vehicle was just being looked at—three days after drop-off. I was told they only had one tech who could work on diesels and he had other cars ahead. So why schedule me for Friday if no one could even look at the car? Communication was slow and mostly reactive. When I was finally given an estimate, I was told certain parts and 1.5 hours of diagnostic labor weren’t covered under my warranty, leaving me with an unexpected $456 charge on top of my deductible. So I called the warranty company myself. They told me something very important—uncovered parts that are damaged by covered parts can still be covered, if the repair facility reaches out to the adjuster and explains the situation. Jacob said he couldn’t call them directly and that everything goes through a call center. That’s when I spoke with the service manager, George, and asked him to look into it. I also found out from the warranty company that one of the denied repairs was only supposed to be billed at 1 hour of labor, but I was quoted 3.1 hours. I raised this concern with George as well. He said he’d check into it, but I never got a follow-up. However—after George contacted the warranty company himself, everything that had been denied was suddenly approved. So it turns out the coverage was there all along, but I had to push and escalate just to get them to fight for it. Once parts arrived, I was told it might still take several more days to finish the repair. At that point, the car had already been there for over a week. I brought up my rental car benefit (included in my warranty), but was told they had no loaners and I’d have to wait and see if they could get one from Enterprise. Look, Jacob was always polite and tried to help—but I spent more time doing the dealership’s job than they did. I had to call the warranty company, flag labor overcharges, and escalate just to get the coverage I was entitled to. If this shop isn’t fully equipped to handle diesel repairs, they need to stop scheduling them like they are. Bottom line: you shouldn’t have to be your own service advisor to get treated fairly. That said, I do want to give credit where it’s due—the service tech was excellent, and I really appreciated the video they sent walking me through the issue. It clearly explained how the EGR filter became clogged due to the failed thermostat. That level of transparency and detail was a bright spot in an otherwise frustrating experience

This is a BIG THANK YOU to service advisor Edward A. Edward is a consummate professional and the care that he has shown me throughout these past 10 years servicing my 2009 Lincoln Town Car shows. Edward has always treated my vehicle as if it was his own and never suggested unnecessary repairs. He has reached out to let me know of upcoming maintenance and advised on recommendations. I have always felt confident that when I drive away my vehicle was better than when it arrived. The entire service department and the mechanics are the best in the business with their vast knowledge of your vehicle, no short cuts, no defective parts only the best in service and care. This review should have been written years ago as I’ve been extremely thankful to Edward and the teams that have taken such great care of my vehicle. Again a BIG THANK YOU to Edward and those that have kept my vehicle running all these years.

As soon as I arrived I was immediately greeted by Emmanuel (my adviser). He had everything ready to go and explained all the options for my service. Some of which I utilized while others I did not. He explained everything in detail so I could make an informed decision. The car was ready on time as promised and they even brought the car to me!! We called due to traveling from St. Petersberg the previous evening. Our Service manager was available as always after making the appointment the morning of 10/29. He immediately knew the situation. We were able to remai. Until the problem was resolved. After going home we encountered another problem with a car in parking lot with car hitting back of left side of car. Police was notified. Luckily was crossed from our automated Insurance for over twenty plus. We are now in process of repairing with appropriate date on 12/13/26. Phone was left in car by mistake And I asked our son in law. To contact you yesterday. We were unable to reply. We did call our Lincoln Service manager. While we were most lucky being served the original day. As always every thing was explained, including cost. We’re sorry for delay. After many plus years of service; WE THANK EVERYONE! I had been away for months and had to have my car serviced at AutoNation Lincoln Clearwater as the tyre pressure was down, the oil pressure was low and there were lots of other problems. They were absolutely wonderful. I called on Tuesday, they gave me an early appointment on Thursday, I stayed in their very comfortable lounge and caught up on my emails (and had coffee and delicious buns) and within 90 minutes I had my car back with everything looked after perfectly - and they even washed it for me too. I’ve been a loyal customer at this dealership for over 20 years and do not see any reason for changing when the customer service is this good !!

We purchased our Lincoln Corsair Reserve a few months ago. After getting it home, we noticed a small paint defect and made a note to mention it the next time we were at the dealership. A couple of weeks ago, we were at the dealership and showed the defect to our Sales person, Tim. He showed it to everyone and said they would be in touch. The following week, I got a call to arrange the delivery of a loaner, so they could fix the defect. At the appointed time, their driver arrived at my home with the loaner...same year make, model and color as my car. They left the loaner and took my car. A few days later, they returned my car with the defect fixed to perfection. The whole process was effortless on my part. I have NEVER experienced this level of service from a dealership before and I have owned probably 30-35 cars. I am truly impressed!

Kudos to technician Earl and service advisor Victor for fixing my two electrical problems with my 2022 Nautilus, the front camera showing blue screen and the driver door lock not actuating when the ridges on the outer latch are pressed. I bought the longest full warranty I could which included a loaner driven to me. That was a great because the Pinellas Park Lincoln dealership was permanently closed 😢. Clearwater is a fairly long drive for me, and it's logistically difficult to take and leave a car that far. While you do have to fill out a loaner contract, the automated site has improved that process. The loaner was beautiful and fun to try out, though I didn't drive it very much. I had taken the car in for the door latch problem before and nothing was done to improve it. This time, Earl took the problem seriously and discovered that a switch was not responding. He ordered a replacement and when installed it fixed the problem. Now that feature works in 5 seconds rather than 20 or more seconds. When you're standing outside your door, particularly in the rain, you don't want to be waiting 20 seconds for your door to lock. It's funny how it would work from all the other door latches within a few seconds but not from the driver door, the only one you really need it to work from. I resorted to other ways of locking the door of which there are three, but the one on the door is the most convenient and so it's unfortunate that that one didn't work for 3 years. I'm so happy it's working now. As far as the front camera, I figured that eventually there would be problems with some electronics like that and I'm glad I bought the warranty. The front camera had gone blue before and I had a call in for service and canceled that because it started working on the day my car was supposed to be picked up. But then after about 6 months it started with the same problem again and so this time it never resolved itself before they came to pick it up and Earl discovered a problem with the front camera and replace that and now things are working again. I use that front camera a lot to park in my garage. Earl also created a video that explained the problems and the fix . I appreciate the dealership for making that possible . All in all, I would say this is an excellent example of work done at Clearwater Lincoln with the current management and technicians. I'm sorry I do not remember the name of the loaner driver he has an excellent demeanor and I enjoyed speaking with him when he came to bring the loaner and to take it back. I'm writing this in December of 2025.

I had an excellent experience with the service department and wanted to share my appreciation. The younger gentleman who greeted me when I arrived was outstanding. His customer service and knowledge were top-notch. He even called me in advance to make sure I was aware of when the technicians stopped working for the day, which I truly appreciated. He took the time to help me get into a loaner vehicle and thoroughly explained the AutoNation warranties and coverage options. Ed was also fantastic. His communication was quick, clear, and consistent, and I’m so thankful to be back working with him as our service advisor. I highly recommend him. The service department went above and beyond. We received a detailed video of the vehicle, including explanations of what was going on, fluid levels, and tire depth. They provided very transparent pricing and clearly explained what services were recommended now versus what could reasonably wait if needed. Overall, the experience was excellent from start to finish. I truly appreciate the professionalism, transparency, and care shown by the entire team.
