Tried Autopia Car Wash in Walnut Creek and was not very satisfied. I paid $42 plus $6 tip, but the wash was mediocre—I still had to clean spots and dirt myself after. The outside looked okay, but overall not worth the price. Probably won’t return.

Drove up and was assisted pretty quickly. Chose my wash, paid, sat and waited. The car was done pretty quickly. I got in to leave and noticed my seats were still dirty. A guy came over to wipe them down, also did more work on the windows. I tipped and left. Upon getting to my next stop, I noticed the car just wasnt clean enough for the money I spent on the works wash and tip. The back side bumpers still have dirt from the road. The back light divots were Not touched. Black on my finger as I wiped it. The front bumper under the plate wasnt touched. The rims weren't touched; grim on all of them. The seats that were wiped down after asking, still had missed spots. Im really disappointed in the wash over all. Ill really have to be desperate to come back to this location.

One of the worse car details I have ever had. I just paid $44.00. take a look at the pictures ad you be the judge. I used to go to the Martinez one but they never could get it right. So I thought surely they can do a better job at the Walnut Creek Location. I was obviously wrong

I’ve brought my car here twice, first time it was still filthy, the second time they scratched the back of my vehicle. When I asked about it and asked to see camera footage i was told i shouldn’t return. Shouldn’t return? do you not want customers? Really poorly handled and maybe they should consider firing this individual.

Workers attitude was terrible, the car was clean but the attitude needs to improve. My husband went there today and told me that the workers weren’t very helpful with showing where to put the car, instead used aggressive expressions and hand signals (I’m Hispanic, not being racist). Anyway, it was his first time there so obviously he didn’t know where to go. Customer service should improve. We got the works by the way, he says he would still go back.

My favorite place to get your car washed in Walnut Creek. There are other good places in the area but this shop is consistently good and seems to care about getting my (usually) filthy truck cleaned. They offer a package to buy multiple washes and get one free. Plus, there is a discount if you bring a second car back within a given time. Today, I noticed they took out the people washing along the line and replaced them with machines. Time will tell if that is a good idea.

I brought my car in for the "Works" package and honestly i’m super disappointed. The outside of the car looked good, not everything was done like the bug removal and brake dust, wheel was still dirty. But the interior? Definitely not what was advertised at all. The cupholders were supposed to be cleaned, and as you can see in the photo, they were completely ignored. It looks like they just vacuumed and did a quick wipe down. I expected more attention to detail, especially when the package clearly lists all these interior services. The best thing was the lady at the register she was really sweet and helpful! But overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re expecting a good interior detail like they claim. Total letdown ☹️

After years of my entire family having cars and trucks washed here (even though the price is WAY above market), I pulled in today to have my truck washed only to be told that "we don't wash these trucks here" as I looked at AT LEAST 6 other full sized pickup trucks that were in the final stages of wipe down. Only difference is mine is a dually. They HAVE washed and done VERY expensive full detail jobs on my truck(s) many, many times. Was told that the owner says "it takes too long to wash these big trucks." Really? I can't see it taking more than 2 minutes longer to wash a dually vs a non-dually truck. My guess is that if it doesn't fit thru the automatic machine, they don't want to do it. Purely lazy!!! They just lost my families' business permantly. I would guess that we have spent well over $100,000 there over the 25-30 years that we have taken our vehicles there. If you are the owner and you are reading this, you should be ashamed of what you have turned your once good business into. I have read many of the recent bad reviews. Maybe I just missed a bullet and would have gotten a bad job anyway. Well, whatever! Good luck with your slowly dying business!

Not worth to pay expensive eash because they don't do anything different then the basic and cap holders left dirty even i found a coffee mixing stick around the seat belt buckle. Your service deserve not more than $20. Thanks!

DO NOT waste your time or money here. They do a terrible job. My car is brand new and this was the first wash in 2 weeks. Inside was pretty clean so the least they could do was focus on the outside and dry it properly!!!

They’re just “OK”. It’s not worth spending extra on any “higher service” than the basic wash. I noticed no difference. Don’t expect anything on the interior. For the price, it’s not worth it. If you’re in a pinch and need a wash, maybe. They are fast and it’s better than nothing.

I took my Dark Blue Mercedes to have them clean my car. Once it came out of the car wash, they parked my car to hand dry next to a white sedan that they were polishing using liquid polish and a Polisher. Those of you who are aware of a car polisher know what happened next. Yep, my car was covered with white residue from the polisher. Unfortunately, it was getting late, and I gave them a $10 tip and drove away trusting them that they had done a good job. Well... when I got home, I discovered all the white liquid polish all over my car, especially on the right passenger side and hood where my car was parked next to the white car. I had to spend 40 minutes using a spray cleaner wax to remove all the white residue. Plus, I could still see brake dust on my wheels, and they didn't even bother to open the rear hatch to wipe the edges dry because water was still dripping out when I opened it. These people are non-professional. Avoid going here and go somewhere else.

Brought my car here on a Saturday morning and got the 149 dollar interior and exterior package. I requested the service since I haven't had the time to clean and treat the leather interior, so I figured they would do a great job for the price. I am aware that this place isn't exactly a precision detailing shop, but nevertheless I figured something is better than nothing. I was disappointed for several reasons, the first, I was never told that my car was done. It was just sitting on the side, I was on the premise the whole time listening to the PA system for call outs and I never heard my car being called. It was just sitting on the side and I had to ask one of their employees what the deal was. When I got in my car, I wasn't even mad, I was just disappointed at how cheap and quick the job was performed, the seats were horribly oily and slippery, the overspray all over the mirrors and center consoles, steering wheel. They didn't even clean the Alcantara trimming, in fact, it looked worse because it is now shiny and matted. The saving grace is that the exterior looks really good, or so I thought. When I got home there was several spots that weren't buffed in all the way, the wheels were still really dirty and the aftermarket front camera on the bumper was seemingly unclipped and no one told me about it. (Luckily I just clipped it back into place). 2 stars instead of 1 because at least most of the car was clean. If I had paid the standard 60-70 bucks for the wash wax and vacuum, I may have been okay with it. But for double the price? Yeah, never again. Just gonna buck up and go to a real detailer. I wanted to ask for at least a partial refund but I just did not have the energy after waiting for over an hour for this disappointing end result.

I’ve been a loyal customer for Autopia for several years and been happy with their services - I don’t know if there has been a management or staff change but my last experience was extremely unsatisfactory. I went in for the Ultimate Package at $46, expecting a thorough cleaning inside and out. Unfortunately, it was really disappointing. They didn’t even bother to wipe down the interior, which should be a basic part of such a high-priced package. For the cost, I expected much better attention to detail. Definitely not worth the money. They just lost another customer.

It's a shame. When I dropped my car off, it was cleaner. After dropping it off, I get it back in a dirtier state. I don't recommend it to anyone. I should have known from the 10 minutes it took that they wouldn't be clean. I also paid $42. It's a shame. It's a sad situation. I hope the money you took from me won't work for you because the service I received from you didn't work for me at all. I don't recommend it. Don't go. DON’T GOOOOOOOOOOOOO

I usually don't write negative reviews, but I was looking for a medium-budget car wash. However, what I received was far from satisfactory. The menu was confusing and didn't match the website. I paid for the 'ultimate' wash but the interior was neglected - crumbs on seats, dirty door handles, untouched mats. The cashier was amazing, but the overall experience was disappointing. I refrained from complaining to spare the workers, but the owner needs to rework the process. Rushed service, car ready in 23 minutes (definitely not enough time), not worth $50. Retraining employees and improving the process is necessary for earning 5 stars.

I’ve always thought I could improve on the car wash process by taking out the chain driven conveyor belt and replacing it with a person driving the car through the line. I’ve never run a cost analysis but based on loads of poor reviews for Autopia, it’s clear something should be done to shake up the system. I think the prices are far too high here but I do like the option for an offline hand wash and I’m willing to pay extra to keep the wrap on my truck from getting damaged. I don’t come here all that often and when I do, they don’t seem nearly as busy as in years past. Maybe people don’t like the high price for a car wash. Friendly staff and very fast service — I always appreciate that. However, I expected a bit more attention to detail for the standard $37 service + $10tip. I didn’t request anything additional, but I did expect at least a quick double-check before finishing. Some small areas were overlooked, like marks on the door frame and light dirt on the back seat. These small details make a difference. Overall good people, just hoping for a more thorough final check next time.
