Meiko might be the best employee I've ever encountered in the auto industry. I came up not knowing why my car was having issues starting and he helped me figure out I needed a new battery. He made sure I ran the correct tests after to make sure nothing else was wrong with my car. I locked my keys in the running car and he helped me get it open. After the tough morning I was having I really wanted to hug him and cry. I suggest going out of your way to this location just for him. Very honest and kind man that didn't try to scam me for being a woman that doesn't know too much about cars.

Went to get a battery yesterday. The two gentlemen who helped me were so polite and patient. My car was a struggle to work on but they weren't going to give up. It took over an hour to get it figured out but they didn't quit. Works perfectly now and I'm confident that it will continue to work perfectly.

I came to get coolant was met right away by Meiko I have no idea what I’m looking for he took his time to make sure I was putting the right color in my car and went out his way to clean my battery up for me! When I told him I wish I could tip his response was I rather you sure your experience with me then me tip !! So here you go he is a great person that gives great customer service in a world where a lot of people are mad they are at work even tho they choose that job!! SO THANK YOU FIT THAT!! He deserves a store to run!!

They say they put Customers first. As an ex store manager, I can assure you that only applies to commercial customers. Also, don't buy snacks their. The rats are terrible. They refuse to spring for pest control, and NEVER use their bathrooms.

I stopped here on my way home to get a touch up paint pen for my truck. One of their employees named Aireanna was such a great help and very friendly, she found exactly what I needed and was able to reach it since I'm too short!! Lol my experience stopping here was great I'll be coming there again!

Went in today to get a piece for a car battery , was told said piece was in aisle 7 , found piece and there were multiple for 6.49, went to the register and it rang up as 10.00 , I explain to the worker tag says 6.49 told her , I would go double check so I did and it in fact said that . I explain to the worker in the middle of explain I was rudely greeted by young Caucasian woman who yelled that’s the price and it was in the wrong spot , I then explained it was multiple up there and she started rudely yelling at us and I told her is it the customer fault or the workers fault if it’s in the wrong place . She got louder and called me fat and out my name then stated she was 17 I stated she needs to have more respect and stay in a child’s place if she can’t be respectful , then called me fat again told me I need a tread mill , very unprofessional and people like this should not be working here if they can’t talk to customers with decency and not raising their voices at customers. I will never return here and will let everyone I know not to come to this location ever !

Just left the store. I drive a 2013 Lexus suv. Would start. I'm a biker so I hook up the charger. 20 minutes later I'm pulling in. 12 inches of snow last week, 3+ tonight and he came outside to make sure he had everything he needed. It's still snowing and I offer to come back tomorrow. He said no, I got it. Just need to put my coat on. Thanks Mark. ( I hope that's his name.)

On my drive home last night my SUV started throwing a code and shaking like no other! I limped into AutoZone and Dre C gave me fantastic customer service. He knew exactly what we needed to do to check the code, was really friendly & nice the whole time, and did a great job reassuring me that all would be well. My cell phone was dead on top of everything & they helped me use the landline to call my husband & let him know what was going on. With Dre’s reassurance I was confident that I could drive home & I did make it home.

I went into the E Euclid location because the website showed they had Casterol ATF+4 full synthetic transmission fluid that I needed for my power steering. There were two staff behind the counter, neither acknowledge that anyone even came through the door. I started looking through the aisles for transmission fluids. After finding them, I found the Casterol brand but not full synthetic. As I walked towards the counter to ask one of the people working, a gentleman came in the door & immediately headed towards the back wall as if he knew exactly where what he came in for located. The older gentleman working immediately asked the customer who had just came in if he needed help twice with no response from him, and I was already in front of him and had already asked for help, but was completely ignored, so as he was walking past me to hunt the customer who obviously didn't need his help down, I asked him if he had any casterol fluid in back that was full synthetic because your website indicated you have it in stock. He rudely said "no we don't carry that brand" and kept walking. I wasn't going to waste any more of my time arguing with the man, who clearly either had no clue what he was talking about, or he maybe just didn't care what I came in for, but either way, he either obviously lied, because there was Casterol brand on the shelf just not synthetic, or he's just oblivious to what there is on the shelves in the store he's working in. He obviously did not want my business, so I left & found help getting what I needed with a competitor, & will never step foot in that location again. I have been a customer for 10+ years at several other locations around Des Moines & surrounding areas, & thankfully this was the only location I have been treated with rude & completely unprofessional staff. The older gentlemen should not be in any retail position period obviously. He will lose business & profit for the company, as was blatantly obvious to me!

I came to this AutoZone to buy a can of starter fluid since my snowblower needed a little boost to get up and running. Found the lowest priced can I could ($5.49 shelf price) and brought it up to the register. Cashier scans it and it rings up at $7.99. I tell him that the price isn’t right on that and he starts arguing right out the gate. I offer to show him the price tag where I found it, and shocker: I was right. He then adjusted the price to $5.99, $0.50 higher than the tagged price, and then started arguing again when I called BS on a still-inaccurate price. He couldn’t contain himself, so he had to call another cashier over to fix his mess. She was condescending, rude, and told me to have a better day. My day was perfect until I had to deal with her and her coworker’s attitudes. The guy looked strung-out on something, and the lady was just a grumpy older woman who clearly needs an attitude adjustment. AutoZone would be better off shutting this location down, and maybe start running drug tests on their staff before and during employment. It’s clear they’ve got chronic issues with inaccurate pricing, and likely more issues behind the counter.
