After getting a second opinion of what was suggested by this operation which was over a $3,000 bill I got my vehicle fixed for less than $400. I didn't say anything about what was told to me by this company and my vehicle was fixed the same day without a word. I strongly suggest a second opinion if you go to this place. I wouldn't trust anything they say!!!

These guys are awesome! My wife's tire got a flat down the street from them and she was able to get enough air in it to bring it over to Avenue. They tried to plug the tired and didn't have any luck. Then they put the donut on it for her. When I asked if I could pay them for their time they refused. Don't see service like that anymore! I'll definitely bring my vehicle to them next time I have issues.

If I could rate 0 stars I would. Paid $500 for engine diagnosis, oil change, crankshaft sensor part & replacement. They DID NOT put oil into my car after the oil change. I was only able to drive 10 minutes down the street before my engine started knocking. When I called them telling them what happened, they stated that there isn’t anything they could do to fix it because they already “informed” me that I had an “unhealthy” motor. Car is completely ruined with no accountability. WORST PLACE EVER!

Owner is very brisk and does not sugar coat anything. But, when you've been in business longer than your customers have been alive, you can do that. Technicians are competent and honest. Turnaround time is not fast, but it's because they are careful in their work. You can get cheaper service elsewhere but the cost is because they're good and use quality parts. There is a fee for debit, so try to pay cash.

Replaced the tires on my jeep today. Did a remarkable job and truly stand by their job making sure the job's done right. Highly recommended them. 10/2025-Update. Went to Precision Transmission to get my brakes and rotors done only for them to turn around and say my control arm was in bad shape upper and lower ball joints for bad and they said I had a few parts that were leaking. Trying to charge me $1,400 on this job. Went to Avenue and they told me the only thing that I needed to get fixed on my jeep was the rotor and brakes. Charged me a $700 job which Precision Transmission tried to charge me 1400. I would never ever go to Precision Transmission again they probably ripped me off before with my previous car but Avenue is the place to go they were very honest and professional.

I have gone to Avenue Auto for all my auto care needs for many years now and I would never go anywhere else. Bob Pellegrino and his staff go out of their way to communicate to a level that I truly appreciate. Their repair prices are very fair and they deal honestly with me on what my options are and what their recommendations may be if there is more than one way of doing the repair.

I took my car there for the first time today and was really impressed! They were friendly, honest and affordable- I will def recommend them to friends and family. On a side note, I plan on going back just to buy some of the homemade marinara the owner sells, because they were sold out lol

I took my car into the Avenue Automotive Repair Shop on Mishawaka Avenue because all of a sudden, my car sounded like a stock car. They managed to get me on their schedule the very next day which made us very happy. Well, late Friday, I called to check on the status of my car and Bob told me that my car had a slight exhaust leak which Bob said that he couldn’t send the car out unless everything was right. Well, it took Bob all of Monday to resolve the slight exhaust leak but he wouldn’t return it to us unless it was running like it was supposed to. We appreciate his concern for perfection. It is very nice to have a local car repair business that you can trust and is reasonable. Thanks Bob.

We started coming to Avenue Automotive after several years getting all our car services done elsewhere and having really poor customer service experiences. We are so grateful to have found Avenue Automotive! We trust them because Bob and his colleagues operate with integrity and genuine care for their customers. Our most recent trip there was after the dealership service shop gave us a laundry list of costly repairs, so we brought it to Avenue Automotive because we trust they will give us an honest review of what needs to be done, and they did not disappoint. They explain all their work and findings and our options. They got the needed repairs (not all the dealership wanted to do) done the same day and gave us a great price. We won’t go anywhere else!

Bob and his team are great to work with. He is personable, reliable, and easy to work with. Every time I need an oil change or have an issue come up they are willing to help. They are priced reasonably and always explain charges on the bill, which for someone who knows nothing about cars I appreciate. Time and time again they have proved to me why they are the best repair shop in the area.

We brought our 2012 Toyota Sienna for a brake job. Brian and Bob both took time to explain in detail what was needed and got us in and out quickly at a reasonable price. We had a hiccup with a bad rotor that was out of the shop's control, but Bob got us back in immediately and took care of it. Great service.

We brought our 2015 car with 55,000 miles on it in for a routine inspection to look for any potential issues. Looks like new, runs like new, always has, but were taking a road trip and wanted to be sure. They said it would cost $95 and take about an hour, fair enough. (that "inspection" should have included a checklist of what they actually looked for.; even the oil change place does that.) When we hadn't heard back in a few hours, we called to ask about it. They said it was done but they recommended we get a tune-up because it was running kind of rough. When we got there, they told us it drove fine but started misfiring when they pulled it into the garage. Check engine light was on, traction control and other warnings, and it would barely run. They said we needed a $500 tune-up to make it run right. Then he tried to tell us that the spark plugs had somehow popped out of their sockets inside the ignition coil, and that's why it was misfiring. Two of them , at the same time! What a coincidence! What BS! What else could we do? It was not even drivable, so we ate the cost and drove off with a real bad feeling about the whole experience. We won't trust them with our vehicle again. They have just proved they are dishonest.

Found a car for my daughter that was in her price range. We scheduled Avenue Automotive to do a complete review of what was needed, it was determined an oil pan and a exhaust system. Avenue Automotive you got the vehicle in quickly and while the vehicle was there we had the battery and coolant check for the upcoming winter months. Best part is Avenue Automotive warranties that work for 12 months or 12,000 miles giving you peace of mind. The owner, Bob Pellegrino is fair and honest. Rod, Brian and Robbie are great too. Highly recommend, Avenue Automotive.
