I don't want to leave a bad review, because the lady inside was very polite and helpful with me, but I paid for a full car wash, however many parts of my car weren't clean. I specifically asked for them to clean certain areas, one person said they would make sure it gets done. They did not wipe down all of the inside of my car. There was dust and finger marks on the dash and the door. One of my windows I don't think they wiped down at all. They did a good job vacuuming my mats but they completely neglected the rest of the floor and near the seats. My windshield was not fully wiped down and I can see old spots on it. I usually always alert the workers if things aren't done correctly so it can be fixed, but I've been to so many carwashes within the last few years, and with all of their service's quality going down, I don't feel like I should have to ask them to provide the service I paid for after they've "finished" it every time I go to a car wash. That's something I paid for and something that should already be done when the keys are being handed back to the customer.

I’ve been to many car washes in the past and often left disappointed, especially with the lack of attention to detail in vacuuming and cleaning. I figured it was hard to expect much from a $50 wash. When I came across this place, I assumed the higher price meant a higher level of service. I paid $110 for a wash, vacuum, and complete wipe-down, expecting a truly detailed clean. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The results didn’t reflect the premium price, and the attention to detail just wasn’t there. Don’t expect anything better than your average car wash—just more expensive.

Avery Car Wash has always done great with my vehicles. They work hard and get my car out asap and if there’s a spot I noticed that was missed they get to it right on the spot and touch up the area. I’ve waited to go a few times before writing this review to make sure it wasn’t a one off experience. Great service would recommend to my friends!

One thing that surprised me more than the excellent work Avery Car Wash & Detail Center performed on my car was the friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly (IMO), passionate staff members. Here's the facts. The first time I went to Avery Car Wash I requested and paid for a hand wash; they sent it through the machine. I asked the owner why and he claimed that he didn't know I wanted a hand wash. I was upset at this as my car had never been through a machine wash for a reason. He said he would take care of me next time. So I came back in a second time and reminded him of this, and he said he would give me a free Spray wax. He then told me it would be about 45 min and I said that was fine. 1 hour later, I thought I'd peek around to see how far along my car was and they hadn't even started it. I questioned the owner that it was supposed to take 45 minutes, And he backpedaled and said, no, no, that's when they were going to start the car.I told him I didn't have another 45+ minutes to wait and that I wanted my money back and not to start the wash. He would not give me my money back and wouldn't even give me a care about my time or me as a customer. He didn't apologize, he did NOTHING to try and keep me as a customer even after telling him I would write this review. I am surprised this place is still open. If you dont care what so ever about how long you will have to wait or about how poorly you are treated this is the place for you!

Went in for strictly vacuum service and the manager didn't want my business.. I think he was annoyed he couldn't upsell me on the higher premium packages that include vacuuming.. not an intelligent person this manager is

Avery Car Wash: I've been coming here for 5 years, and I keep coming back. Thank you Joseph (aka Jose) & team for your hard work!!! Always hustling to get the job done well, showing a sense of urgency, and taking care of your customers. I recommend to everyone reading this that you buy the Car Wash "Packs," buying them in bulk. I've been doing that at least the past 2yrs due to inflation. No issues, saves me money.

I understand I only got the premium wash, there highest level of basic wash, but for $40 plus tip I expect them to have atleast vacuumed the visable areas and fully wipe the car down. There are things left behind bluntly on the seat, in the door handles and floor. I would have been better off doing a self tunnel and self vacuum.

I have exclusively used this carwash since buying a new car a few months ago; however, after today, I will not return. After paying for one of the more expensive washes, which included wax, my car still had a few small bird droppings on the roof, windshield, and tail light. The attendant refused to wipe them off and told me I needed to pay extra to have them removed. They literally wiped right off without any scrubbing. Unbelievable. I have attached photos.

Worst experience ever at a car wash. I searched for a while to find a place that would take a muddy car. Finally found one. Went here and they said they charge an extra 30 for the mud on top of the car wash I selected. Ok understood. Then I was told that if I went for the 85 dollar car wash they wouldnt charge me an additional 30 for the mud and i would need to pay the 30 next time i come because they would add a layer of wax. So i agreed. Finished the wash, got in the car and went home. Looked at my car when I got home and there was still mud in various places and they didnt do the interior at all like I was told they would do. You could still see dust all over the day and the seats. Mud still in the wheel wells, mud where the windshield wipers are, mud in the grill, hood looked like they just rinsed it. Let it be know I was infuriated that I paid so much for such a lazy job. I immediately went back and asked then to remedy the situation. Front desk girl was doing her job to make sure I was getting the service and satisfaction I was looking for but the man that sold me in the was less than helpful. They took the car back and buffed the hood which was marginally better and they removed some more of the mud but still didnt touch the inside. When the car was given back to me I was told that they think my car was repainted, I have a brand new 2020. Are you really going to tell me that my car was repainted when its brand new!? Now I know the mud is extra work but when they say they can deal with it and even get out a pressure washer, I expect it to be done correctly. I will never recommend this place to anyone and will never go back. Absolutely awful experience!

I highly recommend this car wash! They did an exceptional job on my truck. I have two dogs that shed a lot, and they went above and beyond to make sure every bit of dog hair was removed. They cleaned out all the cupholders and paid attention to every detail to make sure everything was spotless. Huge thanks to Jose for the amazing service—your hard work really showed. I’ll definitely be coming here from now on. Top-notch job!

The lady who runs the counter is very kind and at no fault of this review. I leave reviews about my experiences and value the hard work people put into their jobs. This was a customer service error not a measure of this companies cleanliness standards. I came by for a quick wash and told them I needed to be done in 30 minutes. The manager said no problem it will only be 30-40 minutes. I agreed to the $65 service and went in to pay. The vehicle was not finished for over an hour, while this is fine had it been communicated.. It wasn't fair that I agreed to a service that wasn't accurate. I would have come back another day or gone to a different car wash for this cleaning. After waiting 45 minutes, I was told I could come back another day if I didn't want to wait. This didn't make sense to me because I'd be in the same circumstance another day. I waited a bit longer but once it reached an hour I went inside and asked if they could discount my wash since it was 2x the given wait time. The lady went out to void the wash and refund me, but the manager would not allow it and told her he had given me a 45-60 minute estimate.. Its one thing to have poor communication but to gaslight a customer isn’t okay. I won't be coming back. They do a fine job cleaning the cars and I have no complaints. However I felt taken advantage of. In the end they tried to offer me a “free car wash” for next time even though I don't live here. I arrived at 10:50 paid at 10:57 and the service was completed at 12:29 Tip: $10

Just tried this place out after the Santa Ana winds dusted my car up last week. I am an auto enthusiast so I know a thing or two about detailing and you have to trust when I say that this place has some seriously dedicated associates! They know exactly what they're doing and saying and they definitely care for your car wether you get an exterior wash or complete detail. Doesn't matter what you drive they will treat it as if it's an exotic supercar. They do advise you about any damage or watersports they find PRIOR to taking your car in so make sure you pay attention to their recommendations. They have the newest technology in the car washing industry as you can see from my photos. The brushes are not your typical plastic ones that you see at other drive-thru gas station washes and that will scratch your car up. These new brushes are a soft foam that don't marr up or scratch the paint. One of the detailers named Benito was nice enough to let me see and feel a piece of that foam so make sure you check out my photos. I believe I got the "super clean" and I really did feel like it was super clean. Felt like new. I love that they cleaned and polished my exhaust tips too. That's something I have never ever seen done at any car wash I've ever been to. Also this place is huge! Never seen a car wash in South OC that has this many stations! A+ to these guys. Keep up the great work.

I've consistently gone to Avery since I moved to the area 3 yrs ago. My last stop was over the top! My bumper got dinged in the parking lot at work and I thought I'd have to pay my $500 deductible, take it to the shop, lose my car for a day. The standard for bodyshops is to replace the whole bumper so you'd lose original parts plus I have a special coating applied to resist road rash from rocks and chips. So I wasn't so quick to get it fixed. Then I decided to give Avery a shot since they advertise scratch repair. I ended up purchasing the car wax detail plus they'd take care of the scratch. I was skeptical at first but much to my surprise it's like the accident didn't happen. Excellent service. Looks great, very happy with the service. Saved $300. 💪

Horrible. First time going there and last time. I asked if it was hand wash and the guy told me yes. I didn't see the machine when I pulled in then I saw him drive into the machine. I let it go.. then when I get into my car, the back seats weren't wiped down. The whole interior was still dirty and the windshield wasn't clean. Not worth the $50 I paid. I should've checked before I tipped.. another lesson learned

I have a nissan juke the center console goes up and down as it is a floater, meaning no bottom support. They broke it completely off and refuse to pay for it and are dodging me ignoring my calls etc when all I asked is for them to fix it. I also have the report I made with them. They just refuse to take responsibility not even giving an excuse or a reason just flat out ignoring me. Who ever is running this business has no idea what there doing. I even agreed to wait for them to find somewhere to do it giving them the option to get it done cheap. After getting the top wash I atleast expected for the car to be clean, which it was not. I had to have them re wipe down the center the dash, the navigation and steering wheel area etc. Do no bring your car here. They have no idea what they are doing and will not take responsibility if they break something in your car.
