I took my truck down for its biannual smog test, got there early just a few minutes after they open the doors and was fortunate enough to be first in line that morning. I was in and out the door in 30 minutes or so! Great job, very efficient.

I had always taken my car here, but last time they ran the smog, it passed but my aftermarket intake didn't for some reason, even though it came with a sticker. I asked why they didnt check it before running the smog and I couldn't get a straight answer. Tried going there again and apparently everyone was at lunch and would have to wait and hour for them. Took my car down the street to USA Smog on Obrero and got in right away with 3 others waiting. Was in and out in less than 30 mins.

Accurate Auto tried to CHARGE me with a REPAIR that THEY ALREADY FIXED with my car from a previous job. I don't think I need to say more than that. That is just straight-up FRAUD and THEFT.

Accurate Auto Repair did a great job changing my oil, fixing my rear brakes, and adding new power steering fluid. They are always reliable and keep you informed on the status of your vehicle.

I've been going to Acvurate Auto for over 10 years. I think Ted is very honest and gives you the best deal. They are very prompt and don't keep your car overnight unless absolutely necessary. Thank you!!

Accurate Auto Service is simply the best place to go for everything from factory-authorized service to major overhauls. Ted has kept my 2002 Mazda going strong, and will soon be tuning up my girlfriend's Lexus.

Incredibly informative and very helpful! They helped to change out my alternator, although it took more time then expected, they took the initiative to contact me and let me know. They also fixed my aux port and changed the oil. My car feels brand new! Would highly recommend!

Quality, honest and reasonable rates. Something you don't easily find in the auto repair industry. This place has it all. I've been going here for several years and have always been pleased. Rick is easy to talk to and very honest. You can trust them with your car.

I was very disappointed with my experience here. First off, I was charged $50 for having them look at my car and they did not tell me that this was going to be the case in advance. I only found out when I went to pick up the car. I did receive an email "estimate" for $50 and thought that was the extent of my repair. I approved it and sent it back. There was no wording on the "estimate" saying that the $50 was only for looking at the car to determine the cause of the issue. After I responded to the "estimate", they called me a couple of hours later and told me that the repair would be $500. I said okay and arranged for a repair date (still unaware that I was going to be charged $50 for looking at the car). Then when I went to pick up my car later the same day and they charged me the $50 and then told me that they have decided not to do the repair on my car after all because he is not comfortable working on a twin turbo. What the heck? Why didn't you just turn me away in the first place and spare me the $50 charge. The whole thing was extremely awkward and unclear. For these reasons I am not able to recommend Accurate Auto Repair. Never in all of my years of car ownership have I ever been charged for having my car looked at. Outrageous!

I hardly ever write reviews, good or bad. Long story short I am writing a BAD review because I was lied to about my vehicle. I took my car for a tune up, Mike told me I needed a repair which was a LIE. The repair Mike told me I needed was the SAME repair a year previously from the SAME shop. Accurate auto already fixed the problem a year ago! Mike lied and told me I needed the same repair again. He did not even bother to look into the computer to see my vehicle history report. 100% lies from Accurate Auto just so they can make another buck. I took all my cars here for YEARS, and now I will never take my vehicles back here and I have stopped referring my friends to Accurate. In the long run this is how you loose money and business. All it takes is a single lie.

Accurate auto repair is a great place to get an honest opinion on your car. They won’t quote you with unnecessary fixes. It’s an honest, family-run shop full of friendly and knowledgeable mechanics. I take my 4Runner in here now in a regular basis for maintenance and check-ups.

We have been using Accurate Auto for over 25 years now and I have always loved their service. Yesterday they had to replace the axles on the front of my Honda. The work was done well, finished early and the bill was less than had been estimated. My wife feels comfortable when she takes her car in and that is a rare joy to have some one to take your car to that you can really trust. Thank you Ted Bascue (owner)!

I had to get a Catalytic converter replacement due to a theft. I called them after the first shop gave a great price but when I pressed to make sure it was California compliant all of the sudden could not get the part. Well I called Accurate and their price was more than reasonable for the work. They did the work well and within a day. I will use this shop again. I do most of my own work, but they made me feel comfortable. Thank you.

Mike was the manager at the time and *** Mike was dishonest ***. Mike said my car was leaking oil and needed a valve gasket cover replaced. Well, Mike did not bother to look in the computer history to see that I ALREADY HAD MY VALVE GASKET COVER REPLACED A YEAR PRIOR by Accurate Auto. My car was fine! I just brought it in to have the brakes serviced. Mike was just trying to charge me more money/scam me. When I called Mike out this fact he rapidly tried to "backpedal" his way out of the conversation, stuttering something to the effect of "oh well...may it is under warranty...then...um" ended the phone call prematurely and then when I went to talk to him in person the mechanics pretended like Mike was not there. Mike was there because I know the car he drives, it was still parked by the shop. Shame on you Accurate Auto. You used to be a good shop but the ownership changed hands back in the day. I used to take all of my vehicles to your shop and refer you to my friends. Used to... Also Accurate Auto pays Yelp to remove the bad reviews (MY YELP REVIEW HAS CONVENIENTLY DISAPPEARED) so if you are reading this don't consider Yelp as that is a bad business model, they take money to remove bad reviews. I sleep soundly each night because I know I contribute to the wellness of society, I don't scam people and give mechanics a dirty reputation.

I had a terrible experience at Accurate Auto Repair. They lied to me about a repair that wasn’t needed and tried to charge me for something that didn’t even exist. Mike, the manager, was the person responsible for trying to take advantage of me and didn’t care at all when I questioned him. It’s clear they were just trying to rip me off, and I wouldn’t trust them with any repair work. Stay away from this place if you don’t want to get scammed!

I brought in my 2001 Toyota Camry for a smog test and a few general repairs. I knew my catalytic converter might need replacing and it did. Mike and Will were both professional and so easy to deal with. They made sure I understood all the needed repairs and the price for all of the work was more than fair. They arranged for transportation for me, no problem. I had service in the past at Accurate and I knew where to go when I needed more service on my car. I would highly recommend using Accurate Auto Repair to anyone.
