**UPDATED REVIEW** I wanted to update my below review after Jiffy Lube's district manager reached out to resolve the situation. We appreciate Angel taking the time to follow up and actually listen to our concerns regarding our less-than-stellar oil change experience. Thankfully, there wasn't any major engine damage caused from the broken oil filter piece that had been swimming around in the housing after faulty filter installation. Angel worked with us to come to an amicable resolution and we are ultimately relieved with the way things worked out. While it's still unfortunate that we had to deal with this, I applaud Jiffy Lube's commitment to customer service. So, a big thank you to Angel for making things right! Original review: My husband brought my car in for an oil change a couple of weeks ago. Later that day, the low oil pressure warning came on. Thought it was initially because they didn't appear to put the recommended oil in so we brought the vehicle back into the same location and asked them to replace with the proper oil. They said they did and couldn't say why the indicator warning came on. Since the indicator warning was still on we brought it to the dealer thinking it was a computer issue, and they find the oil filter (installed by a tech at this JL) jammed into the housing. It was jammed in there so hard that the filter itself is all warped and bent (see picture). Now we're just waiting to see what kind of engine damage was done to our vehicle because of the negligence of these techs. Not only did they not use the correct oil the first time around but the second time around they caused physical damage to the engine (a part of the filter has also broken off and is apparently swimming around in the housing somewhere). This is likely to cost us THOUSANDS to fix! Do NOT take your vehicle here!

Great location with quick use and oil change service. The staff is courteous and professional and they clean the undercarriage of the vehicle as many places skip that step and then you have oil in your driveway or garage. Fair prices although always search your coupons as you can save $15 or $20 depending on the promotions. Highly recommended.

Mechanic said it would take 45 minutes and then it took double that. I have no idea why either becaue I was only like the second person in line. I thought the whole point of these types of places was that they were fast. Not worth it...I usually go to Valvoline and will be going back there again from now on.

Update: 9/23/20 I had my oil changed and the tires rotated. As always, the service was great, the staff was super friendly and the prices very reasonable. I'll go back for my next oil change for sure. I stayed in my car the entire time because of COVID precautions and that worked out great. 1.5 hour wait all day on Tuesday. But I'll go back when possible. They're always good.

I stopped by to get an oil change at this location - I might say it's the best auto and customer service I've ever received when dealing with my car. The staff was so welcoming and helpful. The manager even brought an issue to my attention and helped address it while I was there. Fast and affordable service too? - I'll be stopping here for all my regular car maintenance in the future. :)

On Sunday, 9/1/24 at about 2pm, I went to the Jiffylube at 27240 La Paz Rd, Mission Viejo, CA 92692 for an oil change. There was no other car in service. I have a 2009 Mini Cooper S. The associate gave me an estimate $135 for the full synthetic oil change. I said I would like just a regular conventional oil change. He said no, "your car requires full synthetic, this type of oil service". I told him that I always have regular conventional oil service for my Mini Cooper. He refused to do the service with regular conventional oil. It seems like he wanted to get/cheat me for an extra $80. I left. FYI.

I called 3/04/24 to check if they’d be able to change my spark plugs if I got there at a certain time-The employee said yes. I was running 10 minutes late so I called again as I was driving there to update them about my new arrival time and again asked if they’d still be able to change my spark plugs-Again, the employee said yes. Showed up, checked in, gave them my keys, and proceeded to get my nails done next door. Less than 30 minutes later they call me to inform me that they’re unable to do the service because they wouldn’t have enough time. I explained to them that I called and spoke to an employee 2 times confirming they’d be able to get the service done by the time I arrived. The employee said he was unaware how long the service labor would take… HOW DO YOU NOT KNOW THE BASIC DETAILS OF THE SERVICES YOU PROVIDE?! IF THAT’S THE CASE, THEN HOW DO YOU NOT AT LEAST HAVE THE COMMON SENSE TO FIRST EDUCATE YOURSELF ON THE DETAILS OF THE SERVICES YOU PROVIDE BEFORE YOU ANSWER ANY CUSTOMER QUESTIONS REGARDING THE SERVICES YOU PROVIDE?! I wanted to scream. I asked if they could at least change the light bulb on my headlight if they cannot change the spark plugs-Yet again, the employee said yes and they’d take a look. It’s not 10 minutes til closing time and I haven’t gotten a call from them with an update about the status of my service so of course I was responsible for calling THEM instead. A different employee answers the phone and inform me that they didn’t have enough time to “take a look” at changing my headlight bulb because they had another car who showed up AFTER ME whose service they were consumed with completing… To add more insult to injury, I asked where my car was since they had my keys and the employee said that they legit left my keys sitting inside my car which was parked in a public parking lot. They weren’t even going to call me to notify me about that impertinent information. I had to wait til my nails were finished until I could literally rush to my car in fear of either IT, or something inside of it, would get stolen. This was the worst experience I’ve ever had in my life at an auto repair/maintenance place. The employees couldn’t even muster up an apology not ONCE for their absolute misinformation, shotty customer service, and complete lack of consideration for everything they made me experience yesterday. On top of all that, I messed up the color on my nails trying to rush from one end of the shopping center to the other in paper-thin makeshift sandals that the nail salon was kind enough to give me to wear just so that I could make sure my car and my belongs inside of it were safe. Unbelievable is an understatement. 0 out of 5 stars wouldn’t even dare recommend. EDIT: I contacted Jiffy Lube’s telephone customer service and reported my experience the following day. I was contacted by the Manager of this store location shortly afterwards and he was very apologetic for what I had experienced during my visit. We were able to come to an agreement and establish a resolution which sufficed well enough for me. Additional star added to original rating. 2 out of 5 stars.

Absolute LONGEST oil change ever!! Pulled in and Brent told me it would take 10-15 mins, then I wait for over 40 minutes! I understand if you are understaffed but give people realistic time frames. The female employee rolled her eyes when I asked why things were taking so long and replied with “well we’re understaffed with only 1 person in the bottom bay, what do you want us to do”? Definitely will not be returning to this location.

Yesterday my husband took my car to get an oil change. It took more than an hour and they put the mileage wrong. For my next visit, my car has 40 and they put 46. Bad experience 👎also is more expensive $116 and the other place in Anaheim is $95 and I don't have to wait more than 15 minutes

DO NOT GO HERE. you have been warned. i never write reviews but i hope to save someone. first, i went here and specifically asked if they fill up fluids during the oil change. they insisted they provide that service. after leaving the place, i noticed the fluids were not filled and had to drive all the way back to get them filled. then, about a month after i got my oil changed, i am driving home on the freeway and the “oil low” notice comes up on my car. i get home and there is a huge puddle of oil under my car. i then look under my car and see the oil drain plug sitting on the plastic cover - not screwed in. i am now questioning if i have engine damage to my 2019 car. save yourself the headache and go someplace else.

I got my oil changed on my wife's car and she told me the engine sounded weird after so I popped the hood to notice they left her air filter open on her car for the week she was driving it. Went back and had them check everything but would never ever go back. This place might be fine if you don't want your car to run for much longer.

I took away long time for the oil change get done, but they were able to do the oil change on a 350 diesel with full synthetic so just saying. All in all it’s probably a less wait time than most places and there’s plenty to do as you can see in the shopping center to kill time while you’re waiting.

I have been getting my car fixed at this location for the past 4 years. I got oil changes replaced o2 sensors. Luis worked on my car in the past. I went is 4 days ago they said they’re not able to help me or fix my car. I have proof of work done on my car. I will be suing this location for ignoring me. They said they have a new crew. I’m not happy at all.
