This place refused to honor pre-paid service fees purchased from Groupon. Yet, Groupon says they have an ongoing contract with this place and continue selling their services. Do not pre pay and get disappointed when you go to your appointment. Worthless scam!

Sam impressed me with his honest, informative, and friendly nature. You can tell he means what he says, and that he's not about ripping people off. Also appreciated that his time estimates were on point. Will definitely be coming back and recommending him to others. As a plus, if the service time isn't too long there's a nice little cafe, Chocobean Coffee, within a short 2 minute walk. Their bagels were super good :).

Had a great experience. Sam did a thorough inspection as part of the oil and filter change which was very helpful in updating status and warning of possible future issues. I made an appointment which was also helpful and time saving. It's in a good little shopping center so coffee, a slice, or texmex is there while you wait. True Car will be my annual from now on.

Take your car to True Car! They are so honest and trustworthy. Sam is a wonderful manager/owner and too generous with his prices. He gave me an amazing deal on replacing my window regulator and even ordered the part before I confirmed that I would use him. He was always kind, not pushy, and communicated clearly. He gave me a free(!) diagnosis for a slow starting issue and his mechanic figured it out and they explained it clearly with no pressure to get me to buy anything. He wouldn't even charge me for securing my skid plate with 2 screws and zip ties AND I had to demand that I pay him for the oil they topped me off with. He just kept saying that he takes care of his customers and boy was he right! I am definitely using Sam and his crew for all my auto needs and I am glad they've come to our neighborhood.

The manager was so awesome. I was driving my 3 small children back from Carlsbad (Legoland), and broke down on the way home. Since there was 300 miles left to home, I couldn't just take an Uber. He jumped on it and tried to get me back on the road quickly. It was about a 5 hour job, and he was my hero for the day.

Fast, Responsive, Trustworthy, Above and Beyond! My family and I have been taking our cars in for years. Although this is a newer business, we met Sam, the owner, when he was working at Firestone in Manhattan Beach. He quickly became our trusted car mechanic. He treats us like family and always makes a way for us to get our cars to the shop. We live in Hawthorne, and we make sure to go all the way to Mission Viejo so we can continue with True Car Auto Repair. I just had my Prius serviced. It's been running smoothly for over 200,000 miles and I know it's because of the great service and upkeep we've received with Sam and his team. I love how he stays transparent with everything he works on. He sends photos of the before and afters of what was fixed. It's fun to watch the process. We will continue to make the hour drive to service our cars. Never, have I felt like Sam was trying to upsell me or take advantage while fixing our cars. 10 out of 10 recommend True Car Auto Repair.
