I took my car here for a simple oil change, I brought the oil and filter with me because I like to use a high quality oil. When I came back to pick up the car, I was told that the oil filter cap was broken and had a huge hole in it that needed to be replaced, now I know the cap wasn't broken before I dropped off the car because it would've leaked oil all over the place, my car uses a special tool and it's common to have in every mechanic shop because it's a toyota, what happened is that they broke the cap using the wrong tool and are lying to me to make me pay for the new cap, no problem, I didn't even argue, I just wanted to take my car and leave, I paid $40 extra for the cap. That wasn't the main issue, the main issue is that I gave them 2 5qt jugs, one new never opened and one that was used to top off the last time, which means it had about 4qt left in it, my car takes 6qt. When I asked them where's the left over oil, they said nothing is left, we used all of it and showed me the empty jugs, I checked the dipstick, the oil is 3-4 inches above the max line, they put 9qt in the engine, and the worst part is when I showed it to them they said this is ok, no problem, I asked them to remove the extra oil, the guy went under the car with a pan and looked like drained a little bit and then said it's good now. I gave him an extra 10 dollars for the trouble. I get on the highway going home, the car doesn't feel normal, like it's being held back, went straight to Toyota dealer and explained tot hem what happened, they told me you're lucky the engine didn't break, when they drained all of the oil, there was little over 8qt in it, that's insane. I'm writing this to help save someone else that might go there and end up with a broken car, I would never take my car there again.
