This place rocks!!! They have got me out of a last minute bind on several occasions, although they have never recognized me when I come in! π This actually makes me want to give them six stars, because that means they likely just like helping people. I'll be back, so will my friends.

Needed a set of tires in an emergency and they sold me a pair for $175.00. Supposedly they said the tread depth remaining was just over half and would be good lasting tires.....NOT! Have only had them on 2 months and all in do is drive back and forth to work cross town and run occasionally to do errands and the tires are bald, like smooth racing slicks...2 months of use. Can't turn a corner without tires making rubber to ground squeaking as if taking corner at 70 mph. Very disappointed in the Supposedly good quality tires I was told I'd get plenty of good driving time out of, especially for $175. Don't think I'll go back as I can't afford to get scammed out of that kind of money for tires that only last 2 months.

Not very welcoming. My family got a flat and they were the closest shop to us. Went in for a used tire just to get us back home. The guy was clearly annoyed we came in an hour before close on a Friday. He wouldn't check if they had a used tire in the size we needed but said we could come back next week for four brand new ones. Nope! Terrible customer service and clearly just didn't want to work. Won't be back.

I've been going to Badger Tire for years now. I normally go to the east side location and have never had issues there. Recently I needed four tires put on a set of rims that was not on my car and the Velp avenue location was closer so I went there. This was about 3 weeks ago I just got to put the different rims and my car today and the car is shaking like crazy. There is nowhere open today except for one small one man shop so I brought it there and had them rebalance the tire I thought was the worst. It was way off balance which leads me to believe that the remaining shake is the other tires off balance. I paid $140 to get some tires put on my rims for them be I believe all off balance. I had the car with me that day and I just asked could we just swap the rims out when we are finished and they wanted an extra $5 of tire so I declined. I know in the past they never charged me to take the tires off the car and to put them back on the car only to put the tires on the rim and balance them so I thought $5 per tire to take my other rims off and put them on with kind of ridiculous. So I paid someone else to do a job that already paid Badger to do hence the reason for the two stars. I will not be going back to the velp avenue location. Addition to my original review: I was going through other reviews and saw something about not putting tires that they believed would not fit onto a vehicle. When I asked them to switch the rims to vehicle for the $5 a tire(which I declined). One man told me "them won't fit on that car.". I responded with "yes they will I did all the research.". He responded back with" we will put them on but if you can't drive away that's your problem, but it will be an extra $5 a tire.". So they wouldn't take rims off a car that pulled in with them and reinstall, but we're willing to put rims on my car that they believe I wouldn't be able to drive away with!!!! LOL!! π€£

Brought our car there to get 4 tires installed. When we went to pick it up, they casually stated that two wheel studs broke off. One on the driver side and one on passenger side. I asked how it happened and the gentleman stated it just broke. I mentioned it to the manager, and he didnt say or do anything about it. He let my wife drive off the lot with a broken stud on two wheels. I ordered some wheel studs at my own cost, when I went to take the wheel off, it took a 2' breaker bar and all my weight to break the lug nuts loose. Torque spec is 90ftlbs... It was much much greater than this. I suspect he snapped the studs off with the 1/2" M18 Impact he uses. When I got the the studs replaced I also noticed that they mounted 1 of the tires backwards (inside facing out). I brought the wheel back and they swapped it and rebalanced it without an additional charge. I would bring a wheel to them, but I wouldnt let them take a wheel off, or install a wheel on my car again.

The guys do fast work and that's fine but every time I have gone there they're rude old men and they'll lie right to your face to try to sell tires. Brought my truck in and they said my tires I had wouldn't even fit on my vehicle. I said thats okay I'll go to a different shop and they hurried over saying they'll put them on... THEY FIT FINE..they always seem angry. Only thing that place has going for it is the price. Probably a biker front or something, nobody wants to be working there.

Service date 11/28/2025. Extortion at its finest $196 to mount balance and dispose four 215/60/16 tires that we brought in!!! Like really $200 to mount and balance our four new carry-in tires and dispose of the old four 16" tires. Just a PSA to everyone, it's only $18 to mount and balance a tire at Walmart. Don't believe me? Shop or call around. No shop is charging $200 to mount balance and dispose four sixteen-inch basic tires on OEM 16" wheels. And before they lie or ask, NO they did not have to do anything extra special.

*UPDATED RESPONSE TO OWNER- First of all nice try with the narcissist passive aggressive reply. Were you there? You did NOT get busy in 15 min as there was one customer finishing up when I got there. Tyler was a complete jerk and dismissive of me, rude, and not proffesional at all, just like in some of the other reviews. I was more than polite and respectful when trying to understand why he was responding to me the way he was. Clearly the business will defend bad behavior with oh maybe he was having a bad day. And my name is Sarah, not Michelle. Thanks though Rick. I called Badger tire at 4:55pm today 10/29, explained walmart couldn't do my sons tires , and asked if they would be willing . The guy was SUPER friendly, told me my options, said he had a great pair for $150 for me. I said great when can I book? He said come on down now, we will get it done for you. I said i could be there BEFORE 530, he said "no rush even 5:40 is fine it wont take long to toss on 2 tires for ya, I'll let the guys know" I pulled in at 5:20 excited to get it done for my kiddo. The man immediately dismissed me and said he aint got time for that shit and confused, I relayed what I was told. He ignored me and walked away. Mind you, I was VERY polite this whole time, and I said well okay when could you possibly have time? He snickered back with I DONT KNOW MAYBE TOMORROW . I said I am sorry if I am bothering you, do you even want to do the service? He ignored. As I walked out I said I guess we will just go next door to Pickers ... He came outside and very irritated said JUST PULL IT UP THEN ILL THROW THEM ON THERE WHEN I AM DONE. By this time, NO THANKS! I AM NOT ABOUT TO TRUST SOME DISGRUNTLED EMPLOYEE to service my sons tires on his first vehicle.(His name is Tyler which he also said he "just got there at 530" but also was leaving at 6..so a 30 min shift? Odd. Before this business tries responding with ANYTHING but an apology, and trying to change the storyline of what went down, you better come with audio or video because this happened with my husband and another customer in the building. Very unprofessional, get a different job Tyler!

I went to Badger Tire this morning after my daughter blew one of her tires. Upon getting there I informed the gentleman that was helping us that I was looking to purchase 2 tires (her front 2). As he started taking the tires off he commented that the back two tires were actually Winter tires and asked if I wanted him to switch those to the front seeing her car was front wheel drive. I agreed. My daughter and I then went to wait in the waiting room for him to finish. After a while he came to get us and apologized and said he had a really hard time getting the lug nuts off one of her tires because they were either incorrect or broken (not sure which). He then offered that if we wanted to go and buy new lug nuts he would take the old ones off and put the new ones back on for us. Which was greatly appreciated! He definitely did not have to do that, as it was a busy Saturday morning at the shop. I was extremely impressed with the service we received and will definitely be back!

I drove over a bolt today and my tire had a really aggressive leak. I stopped at Fleet Farm first and after they addressed the problem they turned me away and said it was not something they were equipped to fix. I went to Badger State and was in and out in less than 10 minutes for $20. Knowledgeable, professional folks who just want to help you solve your problem so you can get back to your day. Can not recommend them more highly.

Definitely will never come back here. I had 2 tires put on my wife's car and after I got the car back the TPMS sensor wasn't working for the front driver's tire. I immediately went back in, told them that something was wrong with the sensor on the tire they just installed and was rudely told that if the sensor wasn't working that it wasn't their fault and that it would cost me about another $100 to replace the sensor. Well, after I finally had the sensor replaced for $30 (parts and labor) they informed me that whoever took the tires off last snapped the sensor off, threw it aside and put the tire back on knowing the sensor wasn't going to work properly. Great company. I'd try and get the $30 back from them for having to fix their mistake (one that they had a fair opportunity to fix), but I'm sure they'll fight me on that too. Poor business practice to not fix what you break.

I had gone here for over 20 years when I needed a cheap tire or 2 to get me by for awhile. I have been here 3 times this year to just have my tires swapped and balanced, and each time was more expensive. First off, my mechanic charges me $80 to switch tires on wheels and balance. First time this year, Badger charged me $140 for swapping tires and installing TPMS sensors, no disposal of old tires, took them with me. Though this was high, I needed it done so I paid. Next time was swapping 19 inch winter tires, off the car in a pickup, no valve stems, no disposal, charged me $160. The 3rd time I came in with tires for my kids car, he tells me $180 to mount/balance 4 tires. $45/wheel? No way. Thats more than double what a shop charges per wheel. This is where I declined and decided to save $100 and wait a few weeks and have my mechanic do the work. Idk why swapping tires costs $40 more within a 9 month span, but I won't be back. Having seen his high prices on used tires and now knowing his rates, I'll probably just buy new, or check another used tire seller if I really need something. Also agree with other reviews that the employees are rude and very short with you, so I'll take my money and business elsewhere.

This place is great. I kid you not, the guys are absolutely amazing! Affordable tires, great customer service, and they installed my tires quick. I went to Walmart first and the guy that works there recommended I come here and Iβm so happy I did. For sure will recommend everyone I know to them.
