I have been coming to Mr.Lee's establishment Baldwin Auto Repair for over 12 years. Mr.Lee ,his 2 sons Billy & David and crew run a heads up no nonsense "can do" full service auto repair shop. Dont expect a fancy smancy waiting room air conditioning, coffee and donuts,you ain't getting that here.What you will get is you car looked at and diagnosed FAST by Courteous competant professional ACE MECHANICS who will give you a firm honest price ,get going on your repairs ,and get you the Hell back on the road to home or work! Oh yeah ,you won't believe prices. I have referred Mr Lee to my best friends,associates and family and every one of them has come back with praise for his garage.See for yourself you wont be disappointed.

*Our family's cars (currently 2 Lexus, a Solara [i.e., a V-6 Camry coupe], a Civic and a Corolla) have been taken care of @ 'Baldwin Auto Repairs' since➡️the latter part of the last Century (1990s)⬅️. Mr. Li, the proprietor, is superbly👍experienced👍. More importantly, he is🌟"honest"🌟 (priceless nowadays)‼️Many a time in the last 3 decades he has told us that the "problems" we thought to be serious or worried about did not warrant to be fixed at the time and sent us away merrily.🙂 Like a lot of other patrons of his, it's worth driving to El Monte (30+ miles one way for us, mind you) to have him maintain our cars despite he is by no mean the least expensive but for sure⭐"dependable"⭐! I've referred numerous friends to Mr. Li. A couple years so ago he retired but recently he has come back to work again because of boredom at home. What a👏relief to us❗👏 I do call first at 9:00a.m. to see if he is at work that day✅ to save a trip. To sum it up, Mr. Li's👉"pinpoint diagnosis"👈is👌invaluable!👌!

Untrusthworthy, unhonest, mechanic. Will not recommend anyone to this shop. If I could rate a zero or below, then I would because they deserve that. Wanted to get the car working so I am able to drive it around, and he just fixed a couple of loose screws, but the total bill was doubled the amount at any shop and also made up lies on why he had to charged extras for anything or everything. Bunch of scams. Need to have trust and respect to get anywhere. Why lowball customers that could turn into lotal customers. Think about the bigger picture first.

Two stars for the installation but ripping people off is such a turned off. It doesnt make people keep coming back to your business. My car wasn't running because the battery wasn't plugged in correctly. And the battery I had in my car originally was a brand new battery. But the mechanic lied and told me that I need to buy another battery. I was in a hurry and got the battery. I even asked to take the old battery back, but he refused to give it back to me. Crooked as can be!

Best honest mechanic in town can find the real problem with your car. I thought i needed a boost replacement so did he but before he did any work he did his thing and turns out it was my sensor not reading the spare. I felt stupid but he saved me a costly job and only charged a $40 diagnosis. Bill you the MAN

Called for a price quote on a front axel, and it was the best around town. They also informed me there was another part that was damaged, wheel bearing, which was causing a ABS light on my dashboard. After fixing my RAV4 is driving better than ever and smooth as could be! Highly appreciate Bill and all mechanics that helped get the job done correctly! Would recommend this shop, definitely.
