I have been using Banks Automotive for over 30 years. I have come to know, like and trust John (Banks) with all of my vehicles. John tells me like it is. (The truth about the car) He offers alternatives along with the solutions and recommendations. I feel that John is very fair with his pricing and I find it to be very competitive. A ride home is often offered if I don't have one myself. We tend to keep our cars for a long time, and with John's help, Life is Great!

They got us in the next day for our ac issues when other shops couldn't get us in for a week. He was super nice and understanding. He let us know that our warranty through MSEFCU probably wouldn't cover it but said he'd try. So he gave us realistic expectations in that department. He called us a few hrs later to let us know. His recommendations and it we were low on freon, a seal might be bad and he wanted to do a dye test to know for sure. We authorized the amount in case warranty didn't pay, it needed done regardless. He called a few hrs after that to let us know it was done, he filled up the freon, replaces a seal or Gasquet and it didn't show any other leaks. And that warranty paid all of it! So if your looking for a good auto mechanic look no further. And when buying a used car and are debating an extended warranty MSEFCU platinum was not only way cheaper than car max warranty, it covered way more and you can take your car to any certified shop! I highly recommend their warranty.

My sister referred me to Banks because I had a door lock issue on my car. I walked in to the shop and was nicely greeted. My questions were quickly answered and a next day appointment locked in. Juan is very knowledgeable, provided me with the answers and a solution to my card issues. They had the parts in stock and fixed my door in 2 hours! Very professional, honest, and courteous. Lets be real, what is the hardest part about taking your vehicle to get worked on at an auto shop? Aside from the costs its definitely not knowing if the mechanic is being 100% honest or not. To me being able to trust someone with your vehicle and feeling confident they're not going to try and bs you for more money means everything. Juan is that mechanic you can trust.
