The Belle Tire team on Portage Rd continues to earn our family's business. They have always been knowledgeable, reliable and honest. We have purchased tires and mechanical work on our autos and will keep choosing Belle Tire.

I had a bad experience when I had my car towed there and was told at first they had no car or car keys for my Ford. They eventually found my car and fixed it with no apology or concern.

Poor time estimates, poor customer service, poor pricing. I understand being busy and having to deal with alot but there is a way to go about that that is not disrespectful and unprofessional. I will never go here again from my most recent experience and will go ANYWHERE else for any tire of vechicle need.

I discovered a screw in my tire today, but thankfully it was dead center and repairable. Which was free of charge, saving me around $240 if I would have had to get a new tire. I was happy with the wait time and professional service from the front desk guys, and ready to give the technician a $10 tip BUT as he was about to park my car after doing the repair decided to show off to someone in the shop and do a burn out in my car. He was a young kid I guess a little too excited or immature to drive a less than one year old car, obviously I kept my money!

Worst place to call guy answers and says he'll be a second. Phone goes for more than 10 minutes. Tired this multiple times. And after all the line rings and still no answer. Tried again and same response. Then again and same response. Save your time and go with someone more willing to take on my work than someone who prefers to ignore the phone.

I’ve given them multiple chances but they’re not worth the time. They take forever - they give false advertisement for the tire insurance provided (OR they just don’t want to do their job.) Most recent experience - they cross threaded the lug nuts on 2 of my tires , ruined brand new hubs less than a year old . Disrespectful , poor service . They do nothing to compensate after they ruin things .

Have gone their in the past and didn’t have any issues. This time had a slow leak they looked at tire said patched and it’s good. When I got home tire was losing air twice as fast. Went back next day they were to busy. Came back after make appointment. They forgot to look at my car when I went to pick it up 3hrs later. I wait there 1.5hrs while they look at car because I didn’t have a ride home. I get car back they say it’s good. Go into car reads it 23psi. He says you need to drive to get correct reading. No problem he is correct but after driving it only inflated to 29psi(correct should be 32psi). No worries I stop and get air. Guess what I get home and the leak is still 2x faster than when I originally brought it in 😩

Made the appointment on line, a smooth process. Was there at 0800 when the door was being unlocked (I was the first customer). Just asked what he could do for me (no happy greeting). Signed in and that was that. My wife and I came in to wait. Well, the waiting area had undoubtedly not been cleaned or sanitized for anyone's protection. We felt very unsafe. The table had someone's old notes on it and stains that came from containers being set there. The floor was more disgusting. Food and dirt everywhere. Sanitizing containers that were set out were empty. I took pictures to be sure to prove my statements. My car was brought into the service bay at 0815. It was driven into the customer lot at 0915. The customer service rep explained the alignment findings and were were done. Had to come back soon after as the air pressure warning light came on. The system was not reset by the original service tech. The one that came to the car was knowledgeable and did the resetting that I was unaware that I had. I came back to Belle Tire after good previous experiences there having tires placed on my vehicles. I was then satisfied at the way I was treated by the people at the desk, very customer attentive and friendly. Not so much on this trip. I felt I was but another person to deal with in a long line of people they were going to have to deal with on a Saturday.

I went to belle tire on 3660 N Portage Ave. to have my tires rotated, balance, and two slow leakers fixed and an oil change. Anyhow, I had my oil changed done. It was a hundred and sixty dollars overpriced by at least $40 dollars. Then, they proceeded to give me a estimate with everything that was wrong with my truck, totalling $6,216.17. Totally bull shit. I went to another tires dealership and they said my front end was good.

Needed help putting air in my tires, and the manger there didn’t want to help, said there was something wrong with my tires. All because I lost air from there gauge not working. The manager wanted to take down my information and get my car in a stall, and charge me to look at it. I DONT TRUST THEM!

Still sitting here almost 4 hours past my appointment time. According to the website, they bring you into the bay as soon as one is open after your appointment time. To me that means the staff should immediately start working on my vehicle, not catering to other walk-ins. Very angry and I will not be back. Not the first time this has happened to me.

Pre ordered 1 tire online but realized I may need two so I asked them to go ahead and charge me for a second while it’s in the air and they SAID NO, it’s too close to close (an hour beforehand). Fine, I can fix a flat it until Monday. So I go to pickup my car and they were so rude, rushed and genuinely made me uncomfy.

They lie charged $95 to replace 2 light bulbs and the tire warranty u have to bring the tires in every 3000 mils for rotation! do not come here I’ve never been ripped off in my life but by this tire shop! How can it take a mechanic over an hour to replace 2 burnt out lightbulbs and charge me $95 I’ve added a copy of the receipt. Customer service would only offer $45 gift card to use at Bell tire again. That doesn’t help my problem. Very sadden

So done with Belle tire. I came to replace my tire after it blew out on me, and I brought it in running on the spare with the blown tire sitting in the trunk. The man who helped me at the front desk was nice and made sure to put in the notes that I wanted the rim from the original tire on the new one and the spare put back in the spare tire compartment. When the car was done, I paid and went out to look at it, and it had the new tire but a different rim, and the original tire and rim were still in the trunk with my spare tire missing. The front desk apologized and assured me that the mechanic had not read the notes and they would fix it as soon as possible. I told them I may as well just get another tire to balance out the new one since they have to bring it back in anyway to fix the issue. Once all was done with putting the second tire on, I saw that the car was missing one of the rim caps that has the car logo on it. The same mechanic that messed up the first time, probably embarrassed being caught in a second mistake, lied to me and the other mechanics around saying that only one of the caps was there originally and that he didn’t take it off. Obviously this wasn’t the truth because another mechanic went and found my missing rim cap and put it back on. The spare wasn’t put back into the compartment either. No offer of compensation for the time I spent there. I wouldn’t have even made this review if the guy just made a couple mistakes, I totally understand that. I just can’t stand the fact that I was lied to about the rim cap just so he could save face in front of his buddies.

Wish I could give 0 stars. I needed my tires rotated before I drove my vehicle on a trip. The gentleman that helped me out assured me if I made an appt they would have my vehicle done before I had to be on the road. My appt was for 9a I didn't have to be on the road until 12p. I showed up at 830a and was told it was going to be a few hours before they get me in. Why did I bother to make an appt then? So now I have to go on this trip without the service being done when I could've just gone somewhere else. I will never go back to Belle tire. They obviously do not prioritize customer service.

Timing for service is terrible. Spent four hours for a full tire swap and sensor replacement. Then three hours for another tire sensor change and alignment. The alignment that I got wrapped into paying $130 for was done but with two of the fields still reading red. I told them if I pay that price for an alignment I would expect everything to read green. The guy at the counter said more than likely it was because of something wrong with my car and rust….it’s a 2020. Guys are polite and nice, but just another scamming tire place that want to waste time and money. My sensor light is still on and my alignment is off. I’ve already called them and they don’t want to resolve anything, not even the alignment. I won’t be back.

The wait time was a little lengthy, but the service was great! My car had not been serviced for years. The workers were busy yet attentive to my needs. They made sure to keep me in the loop and they were extremely apologetic for the wait time. I needed a few parts and they ordered them right away. Thank you Micah, and Bobby for your hard work on my vehicle. I will continue using your services. Communication and a little patience is needed. This place is not that bad!

So, I was going to be giving this experience a 3 star but, what after I found it’s a 1 star for me. So it starts off like this. I made an appointment for 8 AM to do two tires , rotate, and I added in an oil change. I get a call about 3 hours later about how they couldn’t do an oil change because of the drain plug “ missing all of its threads “ and “ couldn’t be put back in “ and they wanted me to do an oil pan for $630 . I drove down there and was talking to someone about it and I was asking questions about it like. 1. Do you have any before and after photos of this drain plug because it was put back in? 2. If it was cross threaded by another shop shouldn’t you feel resistance on the drain plug and stop the drain plug removal and verify? 3. If that was the case why did you go ahead with the oil change? They really couldn’t give me an answer and blamed it on the last oil change place. They took me back to the lift and the drain plug was back in before I even got there and I said “ I thought it was falling out “ and they said well it is in there. If that was the case any tech can easily do a tap and die easy fix and a new drain plug any mechanic knows that. I declined the repair and told them I will take it home and do the repair. They said okay cool it will be about 10 mins and we will have it down. So I left to go to the parts store and get an M12 x 1.75 drain plug and a pan because I’m going to have to drain the oil and rethread it. I came back 40 mins later and it was still on the lift. I asked when will it be done and they said “ oh another 10 mins we are running the vehicle “ I said “ okay cool “ WAITED another 30 mins I walked up to the desk and the guy said “ hold on and walked away” and I stood there for 10 more mins. Mind you while my car was on the lift the tech that was working on my car was on his phone just standing there. I was a flat rate technician for a long time and I know for each tire mount and balance is .3 per tire , rotate is . 2, and an oil change is .3 why did it take 4 and a half hours? I left pretty upset at this point and I took it home, took the drain plug out and guess what? The threads were there the WHOLE time it just was cross threaded! It pulled out all the threads (I do have a video of me removing it as well but google didn’t allow me to upload ). I went ahead and tapped it and with a new drain plug it was magically fixed! But, now not all is good because now the check engine light is on? Wow. I didn’t realize you can mess up this bad with two tires and an oil change. I would definitely NOT take your car here for repair and if you do, you will have to take it to an independent technician to verify that it was done right.
