Don't waste your money, I took my pick up to running perfectly smooth, no vibration or grinding and clunking noise, to have 3rd and 4th gear rebuilt. Now it vibrates terrible, very bad at interstate speed and clunking and grinding very noticeable at low speeds, they say it's not there fault and get off there property, no one year warranty. They do poor work and then say the problems are not there work and where already there, that is there lying way to take your money and void the warranty and give you back your vehicle needing to repair there lying work!! Now, less than three months later transmission totally failed. I would not trust them to do anything else on my pickup. I had to buy another rebuilt transmission because they ruined mine. It cost me another $1650 to replace the transmission best ruined, now best transmission wants to sue me for writing a bad review, everything I said I can prove and is the truth. Mark knows his son is responsible for screwing my transmission up, he has chosen to cheat me out of a refund because I will not let them do no more damage to my pickup.He is not a member of the Better Business Bureau for a reason!! I took my pick up to Belle Tire to find out what the clunking noise was, Mark bent my right rear axle with transmission shifting gears while going road speed, probably from 4th to 1st than lied about the noise. Liar and cheater making excuses about his sorry work. They don't deserve to get even one star.

These guys took great care of my 78 Camaro. The case was cracked on my transmission. I brought them a transmission which was no good, so they called me down and showed me why. They tracked down a donor case, and rebuilt my transmission to desired spec, for a great price. They had my car done very quickly, and it would have been even quicker if I had not brought them the faulty transmission at first. Can’t recommend these guys enough. They kept me updated every single step of the way, and invited me down to show me things that needed explained.

Mark was extremely helpful and knowledgeable about what he was doing. He was the first person I called out of a few who gave me a fair price for the clutch job i needed. I decided to go with Best Transmission & Auto Repair and am very happy i did! My clutch now doesn’t weigh a thousand pounds and shifts wonderfully. I reached out to investigate my SUV shuddering while driving. A different shop quoted me a bad torque converter and I was expecting the worst. Mark took care of me, looked into the issues that I had, and found that no transmission replacement or torque converter replacement was needed. I would give this place more than 5 stars if I could. I was having transmission problems with my car and went to the dealership and another transmission shop, both of which did not have any answers for me and wouldn't try and figure out what was wrong. Mark went above and beyond finding me a new transmission, explaining to me what exactly was wrong with my old one, had it done the next day and charged me reasonably for his work. The customer service is incredible. I had all my questions answered without being made to feel stupid and the staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant to work with. If I ever need work done on my car I will be bringing it to Best Transmission and Auto Repair.

I ended up not getting service done there (as of now) but wanted to recommend them. I purchased a Subaru with Carvana and with the multiple issues it has, they recommended another shop to go to - to get the bulk of the work performed, but said they would be available for a trans and/or engine swap if needed. I was very impressed with how friendly and knowledgeable they were. Bonus points for being honest and so, so kind! I highly recommend them!

My husband called and was given the best price by far for a rebuilt transmission to be put in our van. We were able to get in right away and when we went to drop it off, Mark wanted to test drive it. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the transmission so he couldn’t help us with the maintenance but he did help us identify what the problem could be, and at NO CHARGE. After recently buying a vehicle with the transmission removed and disassembled. I brought Mark five totes of scattered transmission parts (old and new) and asked if he could reassembled everything. It was a basket case, but they were up to the challenge. Mark was the only shop that actually asked details about the project and my expectations. All the other shops I called gave the typical “just bring it in” quote. Mark spent the time with me on the phone, and sold himself and his shop. After a few days he had everything put back together at the price he quoted. I still have to install the transmission myself and test drive, but the customer service was impressive. I’m sure the quality of the rebuild will match.
