Man, if only I could give 0 stars. Where to begin. I came in about early October to sell my truck before moving out of state. All went well, got a competitive price, and agreed but I needed it for another week or so, which they also agreed to wait. My instructions were to call Friday, October 17th so that way they could execute finance on their end to have my equity check at drop off, Saturday the 18th. That day, I showed up, but they hadn’t gotten everything sorted with finance. No issues, agreed they could mail a check. A week went by, and at this time, my sales rep I had been working with (Kris) COMPLETELY started ignoring me. Called a week after drop off, and apparently the ONE person in finance was out of town all week. Another week went by with no updates. My loan was paid off 2 weeks ago, still no equity check. Called again yesterday, got through to finance, then the again apparently ONE person who works in accounting was on lunch. After agreeing to get a call back, I received nothing. They owe me about $2k in equity from a truck I dropped to them almost 4 weeks ago. If anyone has any advice on where I can further report (BBB or other entities) that would be great.

Alfred “Al” Wade did a wonderful job helping me find and secure my new truck. I was in search of a near-identical replacement for my 2021 F-150 XLT and had a very specific list of features I wanted. Very good experience, where Robert Trainer was very helpful at all times, explaining the whole process patiently, telling me exactly how long it would take to have my car reviewed (very accurate), also explaining the maintenance coverage plan that I actually bought on another ford dealership (my car isn’t even a ford). Very recommended and I will come back for future services for sure!

The only reason it’s 1 star is because 0 stars wasn’t an option. Below is an excerpt of the email I wrote to the service manager. If I had an employee with complete disregard and disrespect for customers, as Phil Myers, I’d want to know as a manager. I understand things take time, but 9 days with ZERO communication, update, solution, or anything is horrendous. Simply returning a voicemail could not be done. I finally had enough and was completely frustrated with the situation that my wife called Phil’s desk, and of course no answer. She then immediately called the main desk, and had to have that person go and make Phil answer his phone and provide an update. How embarrassing is that? Your employee just ignoring customers to that extent. He provided a half hearted update, and no diagnosis of my truck, so I came and picked it up that day. That attitude and lack of effort made me second guessing Big Star even working on my truck

Just bought my Bronco and had an awesome experience with Richard! He took his time walking me through every feature and made sure I was getting the most value for my money. I never once felt pressured—he came across as genuine and really there to help, not just trying to make a sale. Super refreshing compared to the usual car dealership vibe. Only suggestion? It’d be cool if the dealership offered a little swag or even a sturdy Ford-branded bag or box to help transfer stuff from the old car. Just a nice touch that would make the experience feel even more dialed in. Overall, really happy with everything. Big thanks again to Richard! 👏🏼

I recently went to Big Star Ford for a recall on the popping sound coming from the driver-side door. I had an appointment, and I expected the process to be straightforward. Instead, I left feeling shocked, dismissed, and honestly disrespected. When I spoke to the service manager and explained what was happening with my door, his response stunned me. He said, “It’s not like your door is going to fall off,” which felt completely unprofessional and dismissive—especially considering this was a recall issue. I even showed him the paperwork I received, and he told me it “didn’t mean anything,” then tossed it back at me. That moment was incredibly upsetting. I asked about a loaner car, and he told me no without any attempt to explain alternatives. I asked how long the repair would take, and he couldn’t give me an answer at all—just told me I could take the shuttle. The entire interaction felt like he had no compassion, no patience, and no interest in helping me understand what was going on. I left feeling unheard, unhelped, and extremely disappointed. A recall is stressful enough, and the lack of basic respect and communication made the situation so much worse. I truly hope Big Star Ford improves the way they treat customers, because no one should walk out feeling the way I did.

Absolutely terrible experience with the service department at Big Star Ford. I brought my truck in for an oil change recall and a diagnostic because the check engine light came on. My truck sat there for TWO DAYS before anyone even looked at it. During those two days we called multiple times asking for updates and kept getting the runaround with no real answers. On the third day they suddenly tried to do everything at once, but then told us they didn’t even have the parts in stock for the recall, so that wasn’t completed anyway. At the end of the third day we needed the truck back, so we picked it up. They charged $230 for diagnostics even though they said nothing was actually wrong. They also didn’t finish the tire rotation and charged another $60 for new bolts because some were “messed up.” To make things worse, they didn’t reset the oil life monitor and didn’t even put the sticker for the next oil change. So after three days of delays, poor communication, and incomplete work, we still ended up paying about $290. Very frustrating experience. Poor communication, long delays, incomplete work, and still charged almost $300. I definitely would not recommend bringing your vehicle here.

I purchased a Toyota Tundra 9/23/25 from a salesman named John. I drove several hours to pick up truck and asked him to have it ready cause I needed to get back home. Pulled up to dealership to see truck on the lift getting 2 new tires which I’m grateful for and thought okay they are trying to do business right since they found bad tires and replaced. Now I did drive 4 hrs and you would think they had plenty of time to already have that taking care of but moving forward. After waiting for them to complete that I drive truck all is good go in wait on paperwork just to sign cause I was a cash buyer and they did have all that prepared! Go back outside to find 2 missing lug nuts obviously they missed while changing tires so wait on them to find another vehicle to rob and swap out then finally get to leave and make the long drive home. Next morning I find that yet another lug nut was missing. Sent a message to John still no reply weeks later!! John also told me that he would mail me the spare set of keys and I’ve yet to get a ETA or even a reply for the keys or missing lug nut. I’ve sent text messages I’ve called dealership and nothing. It’s been 2 weeks guess I’ll keep everyone updated once I know. Very responsive before the sale but not so much after.. Ridiculous!

Buyer Beware. We purchased a vehicle from this dealership after finding it through an online listing. The car looked good and the price seemed fair. During the test drive, we noticed a chip in the windshield and were told it would be repaired at no cost, so we decided to proceed. The online listing was removed shortly after the sale. The buying process involved long wait times and repeated attempts to sell add-ons. We declined politely except for the “mandatory fee.” The price was apparently not negotiable. Since we wanted this specific model, we completed the purchase. We were told the car was not ready and that it would be delivered the next day. Delivery was delayed several times without notice with unclear explanations, wasting our time. The delivery eventually took place in the evening during poor lighting and weather conditions. The delivery driver, who was our salesperson, left immediately after arranging an Uber. The next morning, we discovered the windshield had not been repaired as promised, and there was damage on the rear bumper that had not been present during our original inspection. We contacted the dealership immediately, but after several months we have not received any response or resolution.

Even after mentioning he’d had a tough day, he stayed positive and kept a smile on his face. They not only found me a great deal on the part I needed, but even installed it for me same day! These guys truly deserve a raise. Employees like them are the reason customers like me stay loyal and keep coming back.
