In the summer of 2018 my AC went out on my car. I took it to a shop in Fairfield and they said the compressor was out and it would be $1800.00 to replace it. I went online and was looking for another shop to take my car in for a second opinion. I found Bill's auto repair and he told me to bring it in and he would take a look. Best decision i made.Took my car in and Bill checked it and my compressor was fine I had a hole in the of the AC hoses which was causing the freon to leak. I saved over $1400.00 dollars. Fast forward October 2019 my catalytic converter had to be replaced smog was due and wouldn't pass smog. Brought my car into Bill and he told me of another place in Fairfield I could go and save about $200 to $250.00 on the catalytic converter and it would be welded on. After some investigating I decided to have Bill replace it and bolt it on which was more but a lot easier to deal with if there was a issue. He was so honest he didn't have to tell me about the other shop. Catalytic convector was done took it for a smog check the technician said couldn't have run and cleaner for the test. A couple of days later my mom went to Bill's because she couldn't turn her key in the ignition and wanted to schedule a appointment to have the car towed in. Bill told her to go home spray some WD 40 in the ignition and try to turn the steering wheel because he said it sounded like the steering wheel was locked. Low and behold it worked right away. He could of easily had my 78 year old mom tow her car in and charged her a couple of hundred bucks. I am going through a very nasty divorce and was married to a mechanic for 33 years. Never had to worry about my car. I was scared I would get ripped off especially being a woman. LIke the $1800.00 for the AC . I'm so glad I got another opinion. I recommend Bill to my neighbor and he takes all his cars to him now. If I could give him 10 gold stars I would. I will not use anyone else. Bill also has a great personality and he's really cute too!

You will never find a shop with as much integrity as this place. Prices are spot on and the team of mechanics can not be compared. Bill and Mike are excellent people, they specialize in cars , but their true gift is people. I can't enough... If I did, you wouldn't believe me.

What a great experience. I showed up unannounced, straight off the freeway where my car had started making horrible noises, just grateful to find some place open on a Saturday. I walked in and literally said, "I need a Hero." And Bill was! I had all but given up on catching the ferry to attend my reunion, but Bill was quick, cheerful and kind - and he got me there! I missed the 11am sailing, but caught the 1pm boat. Day saved! Color me forever grateful to my new Hero, Bill.

So I took my Honda civic hybrid to Bill and he kept it 2 days and I took back left another 2 days and nothing and now trying to tell me a whole other issue when he said it wasn’t the Battery and now saying it’s the battery . Failed me never again will I take a vehicle to bill .

My wife and I can’t say enough good things about Bill’s Shop. If there are two professions that I am always weary of it’s dentists and mechanics. Fortunately Bill has given me peace of mind with the latter. Bill has helped us out on so many occasions and has done phenomenal work at a fair price. He has never seemed pushy or made us feel like he was trying to do more than provide quality work. On one occasion he even went out of his way to find a cheaper part to help us save some money. I've been a loyal customer at Bill's Shop for many years. While Bill typically handles my husband's car, he usually can't work on my 2012 Volkswagen. This time, though, I had an issue with the starter, and Bill said he could help. Not only did he fix the ignition, but I was also able to keep my keys, which was a huge relief. Thanks Bill! :-)

Had a mobile service company (online scammers) make a new key to my Honda Pilot ignition only for them to completely break the nonfunctional key inside it destroying the housing. Long story short, estimates from all around the area were pricing the fix at $1400+. Bill fixed everything and even sourced the rekeying out to a local locksmith and it all came up to $700. He was a Godsend in a very stressful time.

BOYCOTT BILLS! This shop crashed my Classic 88 Bronco, didn't close the hood and flew up and destroyed my truck. Refused to pay for the damages even though he sore he would take care of this. After 4 month I had to sue him in small claims and won, but my truck will never be the same from what this shop did to it. Complete incompetence and refusal to fix the damages. If you have to sue your mechanic, because of DAMAGE he did to your vehicle, he's not a very good mechanic. Run from this place, because when he is at fault he won't come through. 6 years going to this shop and this is how he treats loyal customers. Stay Away and look up court cases against this shop!
