The service is fine. The promised times are way off. Third time here and they have never been close to the quoted time. My fault for waiting but they should really figure out how to give a proper time estimate. Would have shuttled and returned.

I'm very satisfied with the service. Joel, the service manager and mechanics did an outstanding job. Overall experience was worth coming from Queens.

Update: Has great service returned to BMW? I think so. Last week I brought my car in for service and all went swimmingly: the service rep was helpful and responsive, the repairs were done quickly, and the car was returned in spotless condition. My faith in BMW is restored. If the next time is as good, it’s back to 5 stars. Prior review: Awful experience. Twice. Brought my car in for routine service this spring and after being notified the car was ready, had to wait for nearly an hour and a half for them to release it. This Wednesday morning, I again brought my car in for routine service and was told they’d have to keep the car overnight. It’s now Friday and I still don’t have my car. Worse, no one at the dealership can tell me whether it has been serviced, let alone when it will be ready. Plus, they have no loaners to offer. That’s it for my lifelong relationship with BMW.

I love their cars, but they were totally lacking respect hospitality towards me when I went to try to purchase one of their vehicles. I let them know it wasn't a problem in buying the vehicle, yet they acted like i didn't have any funds backing me! I'm backed by billions of dollars!

By far the worst customer service experience ever!!. Dropped my car off for service, my advisor told me that my car would be ready by a certain time. After hours of waiting, calling, texting to no response. The next day finally got to speak to someone who tells me that my car still hasn’t been looked at. Then after getting off the phone with this person I get a text message saying that they spoke to my mother about what’s wrong with my car and the repairs needed. I called them back because clearly I don’t know whose mother they spoke to and while waiting on hold I get a text message saying my car is ready for pick-up SMH.. So we went from car not being looked at, to now car is ready for pick-up. Nobody here knows what they’re doing clearly. Oh and here’s a kicker, I had to pick-up my car at a garage down the street from where the service place is and scratches were left on my car either from while in service or in the garage. Maybe that’s why they serviced my car for two days without any explanation.

Managed to sneak us in day of for a tire replacement. Got us on the road for a long weekend within 3 hours (crazy fast given how busy they were and having to deal with insurance) and I couldn’t ask for more professionalism and better service. Sultan and the team made it happen for us. 5 stars.

Brought my car in and the young lady wasn't very helpful she was so insistent on bullying me of what I had to do thanks to Robert Salas who I called immediately took care of my delema She also told me fine sit in your car you will be waiting for a long time and threw the paperwork on my dash. As for Robert Salas he went above and beyond and I am very grateful for that I 3 weeks prior had spent 5800.00 fixing my car there was a minor adjustment that needed to be done and he made it happen while waiting . The young lady said it is gonna cost 225.00 you have to leave the car and she just didn't want to hear what I was trying to tell her .very frustrating

One stop service, very accessible but come with a cost: time-wise and price-wise. The best part is that their agent/service man weirdly cares a lot on the customer survey sent to you after the whole service is finished. So, please feel free to argue and ask questions if you feel anything is not right and take the survey if you like the service. ( I felt their salary/promotion is tied to the rating, but I am. not sure.)

My experience at the BMW of Manhattan Service Center was outstanding. The staff went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the service, and the quality of work was top-notch. I would highly recommend this service center to anyone looking for reliable and expert maintenance for their BMW vehicle.

I had an exceptional experience with Fahim during my recent service and wellness check for my BMW. From the moment I arrived, he demonstrated professionalism, knowledge, and a genuine commitment to ensuring my vehicle was in top condition. Fahim took the time to explain the service process thoroughly, addressing any concerns I had with patience and expertise. His attention to detail and dedication to customer satisfaction truly set him apart. Not only did he ensure my BMW was running smoothly, but he also provided valuable insights on maintenance and preventative care. It’s rare to find someone as courteous, efficient, and knowledgeable as Fahim. His top-tier service made my visit seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for expert BMW service—you won’t be disappointed! Thank you, Fahim, for your outstanding work!

Came in for oil change & emission for an x5. Great service all around. Loaner car was spotless & new. Rep kept in touch with me regarding the service. So far this dealership has been great from the day I came shopping for my x5. Love the brand & the service that comes with it. Every time I pass by the northern blvd H brand places & I see how the side streets are littered with cars to be serviced I’m happy I spent more to get this level of comfort.

Big thanks to Dave Citron for being an absolute professional. Service advisor was Ali who was also great. As much as driving into manhattan isn't fun, going to service at bmw manhattan is always worth it.

After taking my car to this place for a safety recall of the starter problem two weeks ago, the condition does not improve at all. We could not start the engine after several times trial and always have to worry about the car cannot start. DO NOT KNOW what they really did with my car, just continually asking us to do expensive repair while those are not real problems. Really really bad experience!!! They seems not care about the safety recall, and only care about asking guests to spend a lot of money.

Come here at your own peril and pray. Next time, I will drive 2 hours in the opposite direction and/or cross bridges to avoid. Went in for the first routine oil change today, 20 minute wait just to drop the car off at 7:50am. During the oil change they find a nail in my tire and it's leaking air (no air leakage noted in the car on the drive over or day before) that they won't repair as it's a run-flat... next stop tire shop! Before pickup, I get a text my car is ready at the garage a few blocks away, noting it'll be there 30-45 minutes. I show up to the garage 1 hour after the text, the car is not there -- still at the main BMW Service Center. Thankfully very nice service gentlemen drove me back, then I finally got my car, which was not washed (I did not have another 20 minutes for a wash) so there was oil on the car's exterior from handling the hood, plus whoever was driving left some sticky substance all over the control panel. I would have been better off at jiffy lube. Avoid at all costs, go to another BMW dealer, drive to Jersey or Long Island and wait. They do not care about you or your vehicle here.

I've been visiting BMW Manhattan for service for several years and have always had good service. My last interaction with Christian Nguyen was just incredible. His level of attention, communication, transparency, and pushing for the best outcome for his clients was something so impressive I needed to let everyone know...I will only be working with Christian going forward -

EDIT - UPDATE After taking my car back to have the damage fixed, there was still paint on the leather of my door panel that the service team was unable to get off. The service manager, Joe Rocker, told me they would send it back to the body shop to get fixed. He also said that if my car was newer (It's a 2016) that we wouldn't even be having this conversation, fully admitting that they do not want to fix the problem because my car is 8 years old and not brand new. When the car came back to the service center, my service advisor (Who has been great, to be fair) told me that the paint was still there, but you can "Only see it from a certain angle". This is COMPLETELY unacceptable to me. The car was damaged while being cared for by BMW of Manhattan, and they are unwilling to correct that damage, simply because it is "An older car". This service center is terrible. Bring your car somewhere else! ------- Very disappointed in my experience with the BMW Manhattan service center. My car was hit in October and needed body work (New fender, bumper, tire, head lamp, paint, etc.). The car was with BMW for an entire month, during which time I received little-to-no communication regarding status unless I was proactively asking for it. One very strange exception to this lack of communication involved my service advisor reaching out to me to tell me that there was a disagreement between my insurance company and the shop that BMW had outsourced to for repairs, and that I needed to call the insurance adjuster to sort it out. This was very odd because the adjuster works specifically with this BMW location, so I really have no idea why it was incumbent in ME to sort out this disagreement. In addition, the issue that the service advisor explained was not at all what was going on between the other two parties, and she had fundamentally misunderstood everything that was going on. Finally, after one month I was able to go pick up my car. I will say that the repairs seemed great, and the exterior of the car looked pristine. It was obvious that the exterior had been thoroughly detailed. As I arrived home, I began to notice an unacceptable number of small cosmetic issues in the interior, specifically in the drivers seat. The interior door handle was absolutely filthy. There were scrapes and either a scratch or paint on the leather door panel. A few scrapes/scratches/paint also on the steering wheel, and once I exited the car and looked at the seat, it was very clear that someone had sat in the drivers seat with incredibly dirty pants, and it had not been sufficiently cleaned. I immediately called the service center back, as it had only been about 15 minutes since I picked the vehicle up, and was told that they would email the service managers and I would receive a call back today. That call never happened. In a final WTF moment, when I turned the car off, I received a “Service Required” message. The car had been in the hands of the service department for a whole month, and was returned to me with an overdue service required for new brake fluid that they never saw, mentioned, or addressed. Very disappointing that the flagship NYC location is providing such terrible service to their customers.

Jorge Jorge is the worst service advisor you can get. Jorge doesnt answer calls and only texts back. The communication is really poor. I will recommend for you to choose another service advisor to work with.

Presentation and friendliness is generally good. However, seem to suffer from superficial investigation and wanting primarily to suggest replacing parts rather than fixing issues. Have been having battery issues for a while, they said it was a third party battery replacement that was poorly done, replaced the battery, made me pay a bunch of other stuff. Turns out, rats had chewed some cables and the new battery was dead within a few months again because these cables were putting a persistant draw on the battery. Slightly more thorough investigation or not just blaming a prior battery install could have helped here… basically paid bunch of money for nothing until another mechanic properly investigated and found the issue…

Brought my x3 in because of a low oil pressure engine warning - The dealer, without asking, calling or checking with us, replaced the oil and filter and performed a "safety point" inspection. Totally unrequested and cost over $350. And we have a "supposedly" Platinum-level extended warranty. Had to call them (between my partner and I) over 8 times and never got an estimate or a follow-up call. They couldn't even locate the technician who had done the inspection. Don't ever bring your car here!!!

I am writing to express my frustration regarding the lack of communication from the service department at BMW Manhattan. I have been attempting to reach a service advisor for the past three weeks to discuss my upcoming scheduled maintenance, but I have not received a response. Despite my multiple attempts to follow up via phone calls, text messages, and emails—including a specific request for a service manager or advisor to call me—my inquiries remain unaddressed. While I understand the team may be busy, the complete lack of communication is unacceptable. Clear communication is essential for quality service, and this experience has negatively impacted my view of this dealership.
