I visited Bodine auto works for the first time last week for full front strut, sway bar and suspension coil replacements. Anthony was extremely helpful and friendly to talk to. I appreciated how respectful and knowledgeable he was for the entire process. He let me know exactly what work he would be doing and why he was doing it. I was updated throughout the entire process. He even worked past closing hours to get me my car back before the weekend. He also discussed other repairs for down the line in a respectful way. I never felt haggled or like I was trying to be upsold. Also, almost forgot to mention my car was on and heated when I went to pick it up! Super considerate in this winter weather! I will definitely be returning for future repairs/maintenance for my VW Jetta. I 100% recommend Bodine Autoworx

I was looking for a mechanic to do a routine service for my wife’s Audi A4. One of the places I contacted was Bodine’s. I spoke with Anthony for a while and was impressed enough to schedule an appointment. Before hanging up, I verified the work to be done, the cost, and the date and time of the appointment. Since Bodine’s is half an hour from our residence and we didn’t want to sit around for 2 hours for the work to be completed, we had to take two cars. We arrived several minutes before the time of our appointment, but no one was there. I knocked on the door and rang the doorbell, but there was no response. I called Anthony, got his voicemail, and left a message. I called again after waiting a little while, but it went to voicemail again. There was a dropbox for keys, but there were cars parked everywhere and no available spaces to leave the Audi. We left and went to the nearby casino to kill some time while waiting for Anthony to call. He never returned my call. This is no way to run a business. If you make an appointment, you make sure there’s someone at the business at the time of the appointment. If a problem comes up, you contact the customer to explain why you can’t be there on time. And if you aren’t there to take care of the customer, you certainly return their message before the end of the business day. All in all, I’m truly disappointed in my experience with Bodine’s. I had high expectations. It’s now a week after I got stood up for my appointment; still no return call. I don’t want to hear any excuses unless Anthony had a true emergency. If that’s the case, I apologize. I ended up scheduling the service at DAP Auto in Kent and had it done yesterday. I couldn’t be more pleased. This is a very professionally run shop. They did everything that I was going to have done at Bodine’s and did it at a slightly lower price. The only reason I didn’t schedule the service there in the first place is that it’s a little over an hour from where I live. Contrasting the experience, it was well worth the drive. It was like going to an Audi dealership but paying hundreds of dollars less. I have found the shop where I will have future service on the Audi done, so maybe getting stood up by Bodine’s was a good thing. All I can say is that if you want to have your German car serviced, I highly recommend DAP instead of Bodine’s.
