We bought a 5.0 from these guys. They gave us a stellar price and had it ready in hours for pickup. I installed it myself and the engine is as advertised and in great shape. Only minor issue I had was that some sensors had been broken and a valve cover was damaged. Not sure if that was from them pulling it or that it came from a wrecked truck. All in all I will be using them for my next purchase. Thanks guys

I purchased a transmission from Bolt on. The price changed after I got there. You, guessed it. It, was $100 more then I was quoted over the phone. We, found out it wasn't the transmission. BOLT ON MOTORS then stated NO REFUNDS STORE CREDIT ONLY. They, had the part that I need. But, they want to charge me $200 more then EVERYWHERE ELSE. To eat up my now store credit. I, should have looked at the reviews prior to purchasing. The, was that the company posted to the customers shows that they don't care about the customers. I will be contacting Fox 4 and posting on all blogs 😠

The best. I needed a transmission and found these guys online. I called them up and got a fair quote. I showed up 30 min later and picked it up. They say you can tell the integrity of a company by how they handle problems. Well the transmission I bought had a bent pin that no one noticed. I took it back and they worked with me and we found a solution. Then we had problems with the credit card processor...and we worked through that. I would rather no problems at all but we don't live in a perfect world. They handled everything very personally. I have no hesitation referring anyone to them.

I found Bolt-On when I was helping a neighbor replace the engine in his work truck. Great prices, very friendly, and the used engine I got was in great shape and fired up on the very first crank. They gave me a gracious amount of time to return the core, and when I took it back they wanted to know if I'd already installed the replacement and whether or not there were any issues with getting it running. If you need an engine or a transmission, call this place before calling anyone else.

Great place. The owner is very knowledgeable and actually cares about what he’s doing. I got a motor from here and he was really patient while I picked one out. They have a ton of inventory so there’s a lot of options. When I brought the core back again the owner was genuinely interested in how the project was going and if the motor was working properly. I’d definitely recommend them for good used parts and will definitely be coming back for my own projects.

On 5/12/2025 at 2:50 PM, I called and inquired about a motor. I was told the price was $500. I specifically asked if the motor ran and if there were any issues; I was told it ran and there were no problems. Based on that information, I sent someone to pick up the motor on 5/13/2025. Before the pickup, a salesperson called me and stated that the price I was given was incorrect. I explained that I was quoted $500 the day before, and I even provided the stock number and details to confirm it was the same motor. She then told me the owner was the one who gave the price but that it was a mistake and they would not honor it. Throughout the call, the salesperson had a dismissive tone and seemed unwilling to work toward a resolution. This feels like a classic case of bait and switch—advertising one price, then changing it at the time of purchase. It was misleading and unprofessional.

Friday March 7th at 4pm I arrived and was getting with excellent customer service.. The young lady helped me find the transmission I needed without hesitation.. I need a 2009 Ford Mustang V6.. 1400 out the door.. Not even the best part.. I rushed off without checking the transmission I was buying. Took it to my mechanic. He calls me Saturday morning with a video of the transmission.. Let me know it made a noise when turning the converter.. My original transmission didn’t make that noise. I called Bolt on. Was told I’ll have to wait till Monday cuz the transmission technician wasn’t gonna be available to check the transmission I brought. Mind you it was way in Carrollton tx and I wasn’t at the bolt on yet. Long story short. I drove to swap the transmissions and my mustang runs fine.. It’s Sunday and I’m back driving.. I really appreciate they kindness and willingness to help a paying customer and honored they return policy
