I spent about 35 minutes there talking to a very nice lady that was very knowledgeable I explained to her that I was there looking for boots they run Harley-Davidsons out of this shop a beautiful shop the sound of the motorcycles revving up even though I do not ride a Harley Davidson she spent a lot of time explaining things to me and educating me on things I just wish there was something there I could have bought but very nice and friendly and knowledgeable turns out I was talking to the owner's wife you will not be disappointed in going to the shop very knowledgeable and friendly

After spending over 5 thousand dollars on what I thought was just a frame swap, meaning switching out just a frame and keeping everything else. When it was all said and done I didn't get the ABS reinstalled and had to go elsewhere for that. But the kicker was when I specifically asked to make sure the key fabs would work. They said because the serial number didn't match on the new frame it wouldn't connect to the main computer, I explained that they needed the original Computer from the original bike, and I even supplied the original Computer. They wanted to charge me another 95 dollars to try again so I said forget it. I went to have a tire replaced at Riverside HD, and told them the problem they took the original Computer module and in 15 minutes they had it connected without a problem. They didn't even try to nickel and dime me for anything extra.

One the last... One of the last few great private motorcycle shops left in California .... Very professional crew... Parts are getting much harder to get specially for older motorcycles which is a BIG BUMMER... Hope sincerely they stay in business... Keep it up to the bitter end you guys ..!! 👍

Best shop experience ever! I've been riding for close to 20 years and I've never seen a team put so much care, effort and really; heart into their customer's bikes. They truly tend to each bike as if it is their own and they treat their customers like family. Zander is my go-to guy for anything and everything I need for the bike. He is always willing to go above and beyond to make sure I'm taken care of and he's literally always available to answer questions and address any issues and those road emergencies that come up (as most LA riders know very well). Highly recommend Zander and the Born Free crew for the best service around and/ or anyone who wants a second home for their bike.

Went and picked up my Dad's bike for Boston. It was the last thing that he built before he passed away. It had been sitting for years and was in need of some serious TLC. Alex and his crew did a great job! It's like having a brand new Bike. They did a Great job, and I'll never let anyone else work on this bike. I highly recommend Alex and his guys over there at Born Free!

been with this shop for a long time now, and truly a blessing to have these guys around. trustworthy, quality work, and honesty. the world is missing more businesses like this. they make sure your bike is in tip top shape, charge fair prices, which might not seem cheap, but quality work aint cheap people, some of this stuff you really cant just "do yourself in your garage" as much as you would think its that easy! thanks always for the quality care Alex and co!

OMFricking G , I can't believe it took me so long to discover BFC. They took such great care of my 48 , instilled great confidence in having a bike that runs "ti top" , and that translates in riding, I can say , there ," of the best in the business " Oh yeah , I bought a bike here too 🥰👍👍, prolly the best thing I've ever done regarding motorcycle riding. Riding since 1985, Andy

Dropped off my new-to-me 2009 Sportster at Born Free. It’s probably now in the best condition it’s ever been in. Alex, Karri and the team went through it top to bottom - new tires, pads, rebuilt the rear brake system, and installed a new air cleaner. They even found a failing ground cable that could’ve stranded me. When my ECM bricked, they took the time to diagnose and bring it back to life. They didn’t just swap parts - they dialed everything in so the bike feels balanced, strong, and reliable. It runs smoother than it ever has and pulls like a train. The difference is unbelievable - it honestly feels like a new machine. Excellent communication throughout. Felt like a collaboration instead of a transaction, and the customer service is top tier. So many stores are losing that old school, personal, and familial touch. It’s so refreshing that we still have this place to celebrate a culture in addition to getting things fixed. If you care about your Harley and want people who know these bikes inside and out, this is the shop. I’ll be bringing my bikes here for all the work I don’t want to touch - and bringing my friends too. Thanks guys!
