I have had my 2001 Saab 9-5 since 2001. My mechanic for all those years had to quit. That's when I found Boyd's. I ran into a string of issues with the car needing repairs, fixes, diagnostics as is common with well used cars. For these I was into Boyd's several times over a 2-3 month period. The guys were very friendly, very knowledgeable, and very good and getting me fixed up and back on the road again. It has been months now and my little Saab with 200k+ miles is running like a dream and still an nice ride. Thanks Boyd's!

I’ve been coming here ever since I got my 2015 STI, these guys are super honest and straight forward and do great work. My car got stolen and I had the insurance send it down here. When the insurance tried to tell them to use a $136 clutch they called me and told me about it and explained that they weren’t going to use some cheap Chinese parts for a performance car and dealt with all the headache of negotiating with the insurance adjusters for me. 10/10 shop will be back once my car need something I don’t want to do in my garage

I can count on one hand the number of times I've left a review for services rendered. That said, I am extremely satisfied with the service provided by Boyd's - specifically, by one of the customer service staff, Brandon. He kept me informed throughout the entire process and worked with my insurance company that made the entire process seamless and with as little as stress possible. I've been searching for a place to take my car for general repairs for a while and I am pleased to have found one that I feel comfortable enough that's not the dealership. Great job Brandon and those who assisted. Very happy.

I called Boyd Subaru when I had a customer's car that was having a issue(s) starting, the technician I spoke with was very knowledgeable and had some good suggestions. So, the car was towed into them as they were much more reasonably priced than the dealership, and I had a feeling that they would solve the problem. And for a reasonable price...

I happened upon Boyd's Automotive after a not so personal, "not sure when we can get to you" kind of place. I stopped in and Richard looked at our 2007 Honda Accord we purchased for our high school driver and knew exactly why the trunk wasn't working. He was going to write down the part I needed to get it working again. He ended up calling Honda, got my permission to order the parts and said he'd have his guys install it when the part came in. While Richard was on the phone, another mechanic shared some helpful advice to keep it in tip top shape. This shop and the people in it made my day. I'm so grateful there are still mechanics and body shops that want to do good quality, honest, reliable work and not charge you an arm and leg to do it. Thank you Boyd's Automotive. I know where to go and who to refer for body work.

Can't thank these guys enough! Boyd's went above and beyond helping me help my friend get her car repaired. Awesome diagnostics and all the right fixes, including replacing an axle that broke in half when they took it off! Wouldn't hesitate to bring a vehicle to them. Hopefully don't need to use it but they do warranty the parts and labor. Super responsive to calls and very proactive and thorough in letting me know what they found and what they needed to do.

I’m in town for a month or so & needed an oil change & rotation & called dealers etc to get some prices (no Jiffy Lube for me!) and I was totally impressed by Richard (owner) who informed me that if my Subie Outback was >80k which it was…(has 99k) & he recommended using a 5/30 blend as it seems to perform better for higher mileage Subues, vs using full synthetic OW20 that I’ve always used (I change my own at home) …..plus his price was under $90 for the oil change, so I drove over & I was done in 30 minutes…..plus he charges <$25 ea for both air filters which I had him replace. Very happy with the service, experience, his professionalism, knowledge & courtesy! I will be using Boyd every-time I’m back in SLC to ski! Thanks Richard!

This shop is outstanding! On a two week road trip we had a u joint go bad. They put the car on a lift and showed me the play in it. We discussed everything very easily and they were able to get it fixed promptly so our road trip could roll on! Awesome!

We chose Boyd’s based on the reviews and I’m so glad we did! They were able to get my crosstrek in the same day we called them, they were super quick to diagnose the issue and get back to us with our options, and then had it back to us the next business day. They were very transparent and fair with their pricing, and when they finished up, the mechanic informed us of another issue he noticed when doing the final test drive, which was great that he was able to catch it early for us. We will definitely be returning to them in the future!

One of the best Saab shops around. I drove out from Georgia to visit family and to take my V6 Aero to Boyds for a much needed service. I have trusted Boyds since the 1990s working on my 1986 Saab 9000. It's worth the drive! Howard was wonderful to work with, patiently answered all my questions and quoted a very fair price for the work needed. My Saab is running great for a 16 year old car. Skyler went above and beyond making sure it was fixed right Awesome job guys! You helped save another Saab! I highly recommend this shop. Trustworthy, friendly and fair.

These guys know their stuff big time! I had stupidly bought a used subaru wrx without getting an inspection done before the purchase; so I came here to get an inspection after purchasing. They let me check out my car while it was on the lift and went through everything with me in fine detail. Luckily nothing too major and I could tell they were being brutally honest. If I had went to anyone else I would’ve had a bunch of false problems with $1000 cost. but after everything they told me they said in reality I could use an oil change and a A/C recharge and be good to go. These guys are awesome if I could give 20 stars I would. You don’t have to worry about mechanics being sketchy when it comes to this place at all.

Grateful to find honest , experienced Saab team of Skyler & Lexi! Love my old 2005 convertible! This team quickly resolved my issue - got me in before the holidays too! Bonus Skyler surprised me by tightening a loose driver side door handle! Changing states is always a challenge to find ( your circle ) people you trust for all the things - especially for cars! So grateful building my new support circle!! Sincerely Thank you! - extra bonus - they can assist with my Rover too- Howard is very knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through ( aircon/heat) issue. - my new team! Yeah!
